  1. Actually, it was a picture of Cesar Chavez. He was a farm worker/civil rights activist that started the National Farm Workers Association. It eventually turned into the Union farm Workers Union.
  2. Since I have been waiting for so long, is it possible to delay it so we can get $12.31 on 12/31? I could wait for that! If not, any day will work for me!
  3. I was in elementary shool in the late 70's. Graduated high school in 88. I would take my guns to school starting at age 9 and drop them off at the Principal's office so I could go dove hunting after school. I'd do the same thing with my .30-06 if I was going to get picked up to go deer hunting. I did this all the way through high school. I dipped skoal in class and there was smoking areas for students. Today, I would be in prison, my parents would be up a creek and there would be untold law suits.
  4. I have a lot of guns. And I have tons of dream guns. But I now have a different thought. I want to have every type of gun the government does not want us to have! I would also like to buy an ammunition company and only sell to citizens. Let it be known, those are my dreams! Techalum God Bless Texas!
  5. After a little reading on their website, I was shocked to see that everyone on the planet earth is now worth $5 BILLION dollars ( http://oppttheunfoldingstory.wordpress.com/the-official-announcement/1-25th-december-2012/ ). My account is a little shy of that large number. Are you sure this isn't an Obama handout?
  6. It would have been much more believable if Don L. Ward would have mentioned the following: 1) red, yellow or green lights are showing 2) they are done "pinging" 3) 747's are landing
  7. Everyone seems to remember the cry of, "Remember the Alamo!" But any real Texan can tell you that although the Alamo was an important battle, it was not the decisive battle that paved the way for The Republic of Texas. The battle that decided that was after the Alamo. It was the Battle of San Jacinto. That is also where, "Remember the Alamo" and "Remember Goliad" were shouted. Just an FYI for the Yankees that didn't know that important piece of Texas history. Carry on. Techalum
  8. Although some states have laws against fully automatic weapons or silencers, it is NOT illegal to purchase one (at least here in Texas). In fact, Texas just passed a law to hunt with silencers (if you are legally licensed to have one). The federal gov't makes it hard to acquire one, but once again, it is not agains the law to acquire one if you go through the proper steps. Steps: 1) Go to a Class III dealer and find a weapon or suppressor that you like a: create a trust for firearms 2) fill out a lot of documentation 3) have the highest ranking law enforecement officer in your area sign off on documentation 4) send everything in to the federal government 5) LOTS of background checks 6) Send a check to the IRS for a tax stamp. One stamp is good for one weapon or silencer only 7) wait about a year or more 8) pick up the class III item and enjoy it A good friend of mine has silencers and fully automatic weapons. I have shot them and reviewed his trusts, tax stamps and other documents. It is 100% legal. Personally, I hate automatic weapons because you lack accuracy. But supressors/silencers are great for pig hunting. I am sure the nanny states have laws that supercede everything above. So I guess you would be out of luck if that is the case. Not so in Texas. Don't believe me? Look it up. Techalum
  9. FYI AR does NOT stand for Automatic Rifle OR Assault Rifle. The media sure does make it seem that is what the acronym stands for. However AR = Armalite. They were the original designers of the weapon.
  10. Need some clarification. I see a lot of talk about the RV and people with their plans on exchanging their currency when this happens. The one thing I don't see too often is the need for it to be traded internationally. Is it assumed that will happen automatically when the RV occurs? Doesn't that need to happen before any banks will accept the dinar? Please chime in and set me straight.
  11. A ************ is someone from Louisiana. I believe specifically one that live on the coast. ****Please follow the rules - racist comments are against the rules ***********
  12. It is true. If you go to realtor.org you will see what it really means. Much easier to undersand there as well. The link below takes you to a .pdf document that is used to inform real estate agents what it means and how it will affect the agents and their customers. Either way, it still sucks. Check it out: My link
  13. I use a Springfield Armory XD .40 I think it is perhaps the best poly frame weapon on the market. My ammo of choice for self defense is Hornady Critical Defense. It is a "2 hit" projectile and caliber. The projectile hitting the bad guy and the bad guy hitting the ground!
  14. This sounds like great news! then again, it is very early. Thanks for t he post!
