  1. 40 friggin years? I hope the funeral parlor takes Dinar.
  2. Most worthy post RS! Great observations. I've been a little quite here myself. Trying to take it all in. Sure would like to here from Doc today. You? Have a good 1.
  3. Federal? Federal + Iraq + ME unrest + Declining interest in US + Rapidly falling USD = Federal Note ? Lots of news and simple math, I think not. Teach yourselves folks. Good day. BTW. Thanks Knight.
  4. Great post! I love the Honeymooners and always have. Other than "Hoss" on Gunsmoke, Fred Flintstone is my guy! Man! What an Actor!
  5. jeepguy, try this one out, "BIG LAPTOP", works for me! Bound to be one in every crowd! . Good day to ya! Slay.
  6. Out of the entire post, "Ponzie Scheme" got my interest. Maddoff made a statement the other day to the press. "I didn't do anything wrong"," the entire government is a Ponzie scheme"! Seems at his level, the crap runs uphill. All the way to the top! Maddoff is a small, small pawn on the table. And I wonder why he's the only one in prison. I wonder how long it would take to investigate and prosecute them all? Maybe even Uncle Sugar himself. Thanks for bringing it up Bane. I don't think it's this one Wings. One will come by sooner or later.
  7. Could be right. However, this is a news page, not a dinar dealer. For what it's worth.
  8. Thought this might be encouragement with all the dismal news flying around. They don't appear to be pumping here, just stating their opinion. Have a good 1.Iraqi Dinar Rising Again! The Iraqi dinar, the nowadays currency of Iraq holds a great interest for many investors. <br style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; "> Currently the unified currency throughout the country and roughly worth about 0.1 US cents, the Iraqi dinar is available right now at postwar prices, the chance of high profits in a near future being quite a reality. <br style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; "> By buying large amounts off currency and reselling them later at higher prices, the investors are taking almost zero risks, since the economy of the country is highly stable and it is well known that the country is the holder of the world’s second large oil reserve. <br style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; "> The investor’s tendencies are mirrored by the internationally high demands for this currency. <br style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; "> The Iraqi dinar outflow also helps improving the economy, basically every cent spend on buying the local currency is invested into economic growth. Of course, the economy is not only sustained by this tactic, healthy and bold plans together with International cooperation and foreign billions of dollars invested into military and civilian support, debt relief and economic ties will give Iraq the capability to fully develop it’s potential. However, when buying there are yet small risks one can be unaware of. One of them is the time length between paying and actually receiving the money. Many companies speculate this in unaware customers when asking them to pay first and then wait for them to buy the Iraqi dinars later. <br style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; "> First time issued in 1932 to replace the Indian rupee, it followed an agitated path from high cotations in 1959 (equivalent to a British pound) to bottom drops in the early 2000 (0.03 US cents). <br style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; "> The dinar was divided into fills and rials with one dinar having 1.000 fills and 200 fills equaling one rial. However, due to currency depreciation they weren’t produced after 1990. Starting from late 2003, the dinar was printed by the Central Bank of Iraq onto 50, 250, 500, 1,000, 5,000(in 2004), 10,000, and 25,000 dinar bills and it was used as a unified currency throughout the country. <br style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; "> Nowadays, the Iraqi dinar is being traded at 1 US Dollar roughly equaling 1200 Iraqi dinars. <br style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; "> Although the Iraqi dinar had been an easy target for counterfitters in the past due to the poor quality of the paper, the security standards have greatly improved and now include watermarks, a security thread, raised letters, and optical variable ink as well as other up-to-date features. It is a well known habit of investors to buy large amount of Iraqi dinars and later on to resell them at higher prices due to the steady economic increase in the late years and huge national oil supplies (estimated to be around 10 trillion US dollars). Lost my link, BRB. http://dinartrade.org/iraqi-dinar-rising-again/
  9. Seems there's plenty of money to help everyone but ourselves. Enjoy the video. http://www.wsbtv.com/video/25764282/index..html
  10. Thanks again Doc. I heard a report on CNN about ten minutes ago from Heraldo Rivera that he supports $5.00 a gallon gasoline. Claims it will fix all our problems. I think it was the chair thing a few years back, not sure. Certainly not worth broad casting. Hats off to the NewsHounds for getting the word out.
  11. Toilet paper is good. Dinar is good. I lost more than a couple shirt pockets in my day. You with me Hunter? All good for something!
  12. Time is getting critical bro. PVS put out a nice post today. Everybody search PleasantValleySunday "Arab Summit" post. The way stuff is right now. Sorry for no link, I'm tired and lazy tonight. Buggin out of here. Talk later.
  13. No rate, No Date, No Foul, No Crystal Ball. Time has proven over and over and over, Religion and Politics just simply do not mix. Check the news, being proven as I type. Nice to have a little hope these days on a life changing speculation. I am, and deal with working class people on a daily basis that pays this great country's bills every day. They are God fearing and loving people. Like myself, They found a bit of bit hope in this Dinar thing. Good luck taking it from them. No I don't pump, I work a day and so does she. We buy what we are willing to spend. Both gave up smoking, it's amazing what you can do with the extra change. I'm getting up in in years now. I've learned a few things along the way. Your God is not going to make you wealthy, however, he may have very well given you the sense to take care of yourself and your's. Do what you think is right. Good day all. Not a rant here, a mere reply.
  14. I am "Really" looking forward to this, I just hope it all goes down right. Bit nauseating huh Scooby Doo (hiding I mean, Mmm, Mm). Opinions are good, I prefer facts and news if you follow me. Thanks.
  15. Could be, ya just don't know with these people. Something is going to go down in the not so distant future. Good or bad? Not sure, It's still going down. Then we'll know. At least they think their bucks are worth something. I'm sure they know more than we ever will. Analyze it, dissect it, rip it apart. They know! Lots of folks that we are not privy too know. I'm just still watching, like everyone else. The decision is near, I'm sure, don't really care to re hash everybody's research here on DV to back up my "Gut feeling". Maybe now, maybe in the May time frame. Gone this far, 100 and counting backwards. No big deal I guess. Have a good 1 everybody.
  16. Thanks PVS, can't say I'm all that surprised. US War ships surrounding Libya and all. 100 days and still counting backwards. I guess May falls within the parameters. Have a good 1. Thanks for the post.
  17. Thanks PVS, A Q&A is a great idea Adam. Just hope we can all find it in us to be civil. Might even actually have the opportunity to learn a little something in the process. Lookin forward to it!
  18. Thanks RS, we're counting backwards from 100 now, anything goes from here out I guess. (Unless he asks for an extension of course).
  19. No Doc don't go!!! Sorry, It's just not the same. Doc, you did not deserve this. Sorry Buddy. Try and have a great day.
  20. Email Print It'll be just fine. I'm sure we can dig up another 4or 5 B$ some somewhere. Mr. "O".– 25 mins agoGENEVA (Reuters) – Many citizens of Iraq, Sudan, Somalia and other poor countries are stranded in Libya as they lack the resources to escape, U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees Antonio Guterres said Monday. Richer nations have managed to evacuate thousands of their nationals by air and by sea. But, said UNHCR chief Antonio Guterres, many foreign workers and refugees have been unable to leave and fear for their lives. "There are no planes and boats to evacuate people originating from war-torn or very poor countries," he said in a statement. More than 110,000 people have crossed land borders from Libya to Tunisia and Egypt so far, he estimated. Most have been Egyptians and Tunisians who were working in Libya, and some Libyans and people of other nationalities have managed to get out. But some have been targeted for abuse or attack, Guterres said. "Africans seem to be particularly at risk as they are being associated with foreign mercenaries," he said. The International Organization for Migration estimates about 1.5 million undocumented migrant workers from Africa and Asia are currently in Libya. Chill a minute. Mr. "O" didn't quote the opening statement. I did. Looks cool though.
  21. Somebody has to do it! Let it be me! Sir, It has absolutely nothing to do with Mr. Obama being black. Peace be with you. Slay.
  22. There's a lot of things in life I wanted to be. A Muslim is not one of them. Happy to be American. Thanks!
  23. Vern, I like you man. Your're a bad++++Canadian and I'm a bad++++American. In your're heart do you honestly think this sort of thing would ever go down. Not without a fight from Hades. It could very well. Our entire lives are tied to the dollar. Ya got me going. The American Dream has been sold out. BTW: Maddoff made the announcement today that the entire US Government is a big Ponzie Scheme. Whistle blower of sorts. Seems he's not the only guilty one. Go figure. Can't wait till all is revealed that I've known all along. Getting interesting around here.
