I feel a bit silly having believed (somewhat) a Monday rumor such as I posted regarding my families friends in Kuwait. I hav not spoken to them regarding thier info or what did or did not happen as planned, as it doesn't really matter. Simple fact is that its' Tuesday and no cash in yet. Me and my family were brought into this by friends from Kuwait (American, but lived there). They called today and said we could very likely see a cash in on Monday. They will repay the loan with dollars as they have with previous SBA's, just because they have taken a new SBA does not mean they must RV or that the IMF is in control of there monetary policy, just as the bank that holds my mortgage doesnt control my bank account or my spending habits.

I have not been in chat recently or posted very much on anyones site and the reason is simple, I have been taking some stock in my own thought process regarding this entire investment and have come to a few resounding conclusions I thought i would share. First let me say that I do believe the Dinar will revalue but when and how much is VERY much like pi**ing up wind in a hurricane, try it and you are sure to pi** on yourself. Looking at recent rumors from the likes of medic, Frank and other site owners, it suddenly occured to me that it all plays like a fine tuned piano in that all target a certain level of hype and whenever something takes place that spells bad news for the rv, it is quuickly picked up and redirected (spun) as a positive to maintain that level of hype. I would not find it nearly as disturbing as I do if the ppl spinning these events, as all pointing to an rv, were not infact (in most cases), site owners themselves. So I came away with a question as to why such obvious negative events at times were desperately being turned into positives by the masses? The answer then came to me like a lightning bolt, we the masses are being played, like that fine tuned piano, as a result of our basic human need to hope that tommorrow will bring a better day for us, our families and loved ones and out of this desperate hope is born a rationalizing thought process that others feed on to maintain the hype. Is an rv close, who the heck knows, it would appear as though not even the ppl who are supposed to be in "control" of it know at times. Is this merely a media induced state of mind from all the "misinformation", "BS rumors", and at times, outright lies being told to us by those that some of us trust, maybe so and if it is, kudos to those leading the masses for they have done such a good job that ppl like medic are running out of lies to propigate the hype. It is not my intention to be a downer or even imply that anyone should give creedence to what I have said here, if infact you get to read it. It is my intention however, to remind all that we as human beings are most vulnerable in our hour of need and as history has proven time and time again, we are easily mislead as individuals and as a society to not only consider but believe with all our hearts in something that in hindsight becomes elusive. It is my hope that this post is not pulled as it does not play to the current hype, but rather begs the question of self examination and reliance on FACT BASED INFORMATION to lead you all into the future of our investment. Thank you for taking the time to at least read the opinion of one loan dinar man. In conclusion I would like to say that I too have hope in the future of our investment but will no longer be led to it by others and will instead find it from within as it should be. Just ppl I know who are not your "everyday" folks. Thats all I care to say about that and I hope you can respect that. I have not had time to verify it as I am on my way out for night school but I have no reason to doubt them as they are not in the habit of calling me with rumors.

Check the news and the Un sites cause I hear from my ppl that Iraq was released from ch 7 just a short while ago and Maliki is on a plane back to Iraq.

Even if that is the case, lets look at it. We spent 1000 plus on a million and get back 860,000, sure we dont get the multimillions some would like, including myself but hey, I'll trade 1000 for 860,000 anyday of the week! lol

actaully the world did not recognize Saddams self established rate of 3.2+, the world recognized the IMFs established international rate at 2.8+ due to the fact that Saddam did not change the value to over 3 until after the UN placed sanctions on them in 1990. He did not recognize those sanctions as he put it and attempted to change his currency value outside of internationally accepted methods and it was not recognized internationally, only in country.

I will have to say, that is some sound quality advice. I have not always agreed with opinions that you have posted in the past but thats just me, i usualy take all with a little bigger grain of sand than most and come to my own conlusions after sufficient research. I too have had relatives, who after appearing to be financially set, have somehow ended up in bankruptcy. The ease with which that can and does happen is unfortunate, thanks for the reminder.

I would say that i agree, knowing that Shabibi gas publicly stated that he does not like speculative investors. However, if he choses to come out at say .50, the wealthy are going to go on a buying spree of major proportions knowing that a rapid float to a much higher value or a straight up rv to a higher value looms in the very near future. That much of a run on their currency by new speculators, IMO, is very likely to surpass the current speculative holdings and in the end net them nothing with respect to the circulation amount. IMO, they will come out at 1.50 to 2, to get a large cash in and prevent a huge new bach of speculators b4 rv'ing again at a higher rate.
