Been ridiculed about my first name for as long as I can remember. Why couldn't my parents have just named me JOE or SAM?! Thank goodness this investment came along, and gave me a place to fit in.......

I do not have one at either. I have an account at WF, and my friend since grade school happens to be a personal banker there. I just have friends close enough, at BoA and Chase, that I can get real answers. Yes, they are higher up than a teller or office manager. I don't post anything, because I have seen how a few, select people react to "bank rumors".

Chase has a good deal going, too. They have some minimum balance requirements, but your group can add their deposits together, to get there.

My take is that there are two reasons... 1) Some- and it is obvious who those few are, just love to be the antagonist. Whether they truly believe it or not, it is just fun for them to swim upstream; and 2) Some people are just more comfortable hanging onto a worst-case scenario. If it doesn't turn out the way we all hope, they can find comfort in saying "Well, I knew it!" Things coming out all rosy is just more than some can handle.

There are several on here that think they are smarter than everyone. They hammer "idiots", "fools", and "stupid people", every day, and, for some reason, they are bullet proof.

See, I would be offended by the accusations and be thinking this... "I do all this hard work for the community, and this is how I am repaid? A bold accusation that cripples my credibility? Well, if that is the case... I will just depart myself from the situation and let them see that A.) I am not here for financial gains & B.) The community will see the repercussions of making a bold accusation that was false and how it will now impact the community in an on-going sense. Chew on that mentality I see your point, but disagree. The work I do for the good of all far outweighs anything some A-hole from Hawaii can say about me. If I walk away from all the work I have done, some will have the perception that the accusations are true, and I finally got busted. By leaving, I may actually be adding credibility to the crap that guy was spewing...

I have a "real" question- not rhetorical... What are these groups trying to accomplish? I get that those of us not in gangs find their killings senseless, but, at least, they are about "corners" or territory. These shootings will not gain them any ground, just the wrath of US and Iraqi troops.
