In DV you can express your opinion and not get booted for it . I don't agree with all of the bashing but I just say so and move on. We agree and disagree and have debate and most people are respectful, but there are those that step out of line, but here we are with freedom of speech still alive an kicking. Bond Lady great job as always. Your posts are brought here and appreciated by the vast majority of us, but there will always be some that will bash, just move on and shrug it off as in the world there is rarely if ever total consensus about anything, and I for one believe it's how it should be. I agree with everything you are saying and as I stated, I am a Full supporter of the Police force and completely understand that there are those in every profession and dare I say everyplace that are not the best of us. My point is rather that it happens. I appreciate your view and have actually got similar views with the exception of this SB 1070. Really there are laws on the books about being here illegally as well as driving without your license. So if you really look at how this bill was started and by whom it begs the question, what isn't covered by the existing laws that this one does. AZ is a heated up mess when it comes to this issue. When I travel people ask me about AZ and if it is really as racist as they hear. I would say that we are not nearly what is being said. I would say our politicians have a bit to be desired and come up with the crazy things that people read about, and the Sherrif of Maricopa County will do Anything to get in the media as well as our Govenor. I would say that we are not what the media has to say about us at all. I am not debating the carryIng of papers, I have mine at all times, but if I were to not have them and a US citizen of Hispanic decent with an accent didn't have theirs and we were stopped at the same time I would be let go and the Hispanic person would have to prove their citizenship. It is the reality of the world. really, that is my point. Again with respect and thanks for letting me voice my opinion without receiving too much grief, it's just my opinion, r2

With all due respect, I have found you to be for the most part very level headed and fair, but on this I would say that you are so off base it makes my mind spin. I know that you all will neg me to death here, but I have to say this. I live here in Arizona and to say that people are not stopped for anything except for having committed a crime is far from the truth. I have seen it happen and know people that have been stopped. Now to be fair I must say that it is not the majority of officers that do this, actually far from it, but it happens down here. I support the police and at the same time am unwilling to stand by and see a group of people the Hispanic people or anyone else be racially profiled. The Hispanic population is the majority here in Arizona and I know this is not what people want to hear but that majority are legal US Citizens. So I ask you, do you have to carry your papers as a US Citizen to walk the streets? I am not Hispanic but Caucasion and yet I will stand by the rights we have come to know and grant those same rights to All races. Neg away, it won't change my view of this Great country which is based on Human Rights, again no disrespect intended, r2

Smee, oh my what a topic! I have a rule that I try to live by and that is to not discuss Religion or Politics with darn near anyone. I am going to break it for a second though. I guess that I will be in the minority here, as I am a Christian but not to the point that I would not take any other religions prayers or even try to understand their religion. Wars are too often started in the name of religion and I am sick about that. I would not expect everyone to have to believe in my beliefs or even try to change them. Believe what you believe and have the decency to allow others theirs as well is my position. I try to be tollerant and accepting, I don't always succeed but I do attempt it. Anyway, long story short, it is my belief that I would be honored to accept anyone's prayers whatever the religion and be grateful to have them. Sorry about the length of my post. Thanks Smee r2

I listen to the show every once in a while, it's on late. I do like Phoenix. Phoenix, don't take these guys personally, the world is full of people that tear others down with no apparent reason. It is not limited to these websites, its at work in the newspaper on the radio, have you heard Rush and those people, come on. I like your view, but you run away from these guys like it helps the majority of us on these sites. Come on back and say your piece and ignore the people that disagree, that's what the rest of us have to do all day long in life. You have vaue and are worried about a few goof balls, I feel cheated by these people but what can I do. After removing zeros instead of saying 123,000 IQD is equal to US$100 we will say 123 Dinars is equal to US$100. When you take the sentence as a whole it looks like it says they are bunny earring to me. Don't neg me I'm not a lopster at all I'm just reading it in context, not pulling the piece I like out of a sentence because it makes me feel good. I hope I am really wrong here!!
