As unpopular as your opinion is...it bares truth. It is true that we have read sooo many rumors...I confess that I have entertained the rumors for my own greedy purposes. But I also like what you said about spending time with your family. I think it is important to remember what is truly valuable. I gave you a +1 to offset your -1.

The spike is a reflection of the US dollar fluctuating, not the IQD.

Welcome Pink! Remember, rumors are for entertainment purposes only. (she is correct about the koolaide!) No-one really knows if we are "close" or not. Its all relative.

Welcome. In my opinion, any, all or none of the things you mentioned can happen, but not likely. (There are those here who may have more insight). When the IQD enters the world market we should be able to trade them at most major banks like other tradable currency. There is no gaurantee as to when or how much, no one really knows. There is always a risk that you could loose what you have invested....as they say, only invest what you can afford to loose. I personally don't believe this is a loosing investment. I believe that the U.S. will make sure this country succeeds and your investment in IQD is an investment in the success of Iraq. Cautiouslyhopeful

Come on out and talk to us Duke, don't be afraid, we would all like to know why you feel this will happen.
