I sure hope he is right as we all do but things can happen. I've read things from Adam saying how the RV was super duper close, days away...the posts were dated over a year ago. Not trying to piss on Adam here, but s##t can happen thats outside of his control.

so it looks like all the Iraqis are in agreement with some law. is that significant to a RV? If it is then it appears to be another hurdle that was overcame on their part which is always good

I didnt quit any job, not yet anyway we'll see this week ha! I figured that throwing $2k at the Dinars wouldnt hurt. That $2k wasnt going to change my life any bit at all...still had enough money in reserves to take the chance. However...that opportunity to take a small amount of money and have it parlay into millions (Hopefully), well I wasnt going to miss out on that. Sure as hell as I said no to it, the RV would happen and I'd throw myself into traffic!. Fact is, either they RV and I make my fortune or they turn into expensive imported toilet paper...i'll write it off as an investment loss. either way it's a win-win

i tried looking up the IQD at various other Middle Eastern banks and there was ZERO mention of it anywhere. It didnt even appear on their exchange tables. It's as though it didnt exist. The only place I did see it was on the Jordanian Islamic Bank site. Logic would dictate that if it was a typo or other error, it would have been corrected by now.

So those of us who bought Dinars will in essence be averting a world-wide financial calamity when we cash-out? ROLFMAO! I suppose those of us will all be immortialized in the history books as saviors of the world :lol: :lol: So tomorrow that new rate should be plastered all over Forex, XE, CBI and others? Guess we should cal out Retired from work Tuesday!!! BTW, wasnt taking a shot at you personally. Just seeing a bunch of the same dates/rates all over. Evidently for several years now, every Friday is RV day, just sayin'

Yea when I bought them they were referred to as New Iraqi Dinal (NID). Now I'm seeing the term Iraqi Dinar (IQD). Just wanted to make sure they are the same thing. Sorry for the noob question

I bought my Dinar at TD Bank. The other day I asked the manager about cashing them in--the procedure. He said to just bring in the Dinars and they will exchange them for USD. Simple as that.

If this thing goes as we all hope it will there will be a good amount of instantly wealthy people. I dont think it's nearly enough to make a dent in the peril the US economy is. Even if there were a million of us who hit it big and bought a new house. Is selling 1 million homes going to pull the real estate market out of the tank? I dont think so. at BEST it would be a spike in the stats and would go right back down the following month. Sure we'd buy that car or home we want, take that vacation thats long over due. Set up the college funds, etc. Hopefully we'd make the proper decisions to take this profit and invest it so it will LAST. We shouldn't forget, Easy Come-Easy Go... My wife works for a bank. She told me that in the past few weeks & months they have been selling quite a bit of Dinars. Dont' know what that means if anything. I've heard compelling arguments both FOR and AGAINST investing in Dinars.

I dont know about that...maybe i'm wrong. just trying to get my learn on here If I have 2,000,000 Dinar and they kill 3 zeros that will leave me with 2,000 dinar. Even if it RV's at 3USD to 1IQD, that would yield me $6,000 USD? Doesn't seem right

That email makes sense. If the RI did in fact happen and it is being leaked out locally (in the ME) versus a major announcement, then yea it seems plausible. If you look at that other thread which shows the bank in Jordan I believe, they indicate 1 USD = 3.22 IQD Just have to wait and see if and when it leaks its way to us

just saw that myself. According to that site/bank 1 IQD = 3.22 USD that seems to be the only place i've seen those numbers. whats going on?

Hey everyone, new guy here. Just sitting tight like everyone else waiting for the RV to happen. I am new to this stuff though. I bought my Dinars at TD Bank. Yea I'm sure I paid a higher price for them, but I wanted to be assured they'd be legit as opposed to an internet scam site. Anyway once the big news hits, what then? I got my Dinars sitting in an envelope in the drawer. Once the RV happens am I supposed to grab them and rush over to the bank to cash them in? This is probably a dumb question for you seasoned folks, but I am seriously wondering if it is just that simple. Lastly this thing about chopping off 3 zeros off the end (LOP I think it's called)...what's that mean exactly? I own 2 million Dinar now so how would something like that translate to my ownings? Again sorry is these are novice questions, but you gotta crawl before you run right? Thanks
