  1. Hashim1968 - I detect a hint of Muslim descent in your username. No doubt then, you are offended by the topic of this thread. Sorry. I will quote Bill O'Reilly who said, "The World Has a Muslim Problem". And you know what?... I strongly suspect he's correct in his assertion. I used to live in Den Helder, Holland and just as it is in Australia where the Prime Minister is telling her Muslim residents, "This is Australia. You chose to come here, no one forced you to be here. If you don't like how we do things here, then leave". Holland has had enough of the problems caused by the Muslim community, as well the security considerations and I suspect they've made the conscious decision to rid themselves of the problem as Germany tried to do in the early 80's, when they offered Muslim families 8,000 Deutschmarks each to leave and go back to their respective countries. So now in an effort to lash out and decry your contempt for such harsh treatment of your people, you bring up the African-Americans as an example of a people enslaved and forced to adapt to our way of life which, (by the way) has no bearing on this thread whatsoever, the governments of Holland, Germany and Australia are talking about a people who chose to come to their respective countries. No one forced them. However, a new day is dawning and just like that "group of people who numbered 20 million", you, my frend, are free to leave this country at your earliest convenience. Have a nice day. Scott
  2. Okay, if they're going to be like that, fine. Someone get me the total number of dinar outstanding and I'll call Ty and place the reserve order. Scott
  3. "DO YOU WANNA KNOW WHAT ADAM THINKS" As a matter of fact, Not really, ...No.
  4. WRONG!! If the IMF (in the judgement and concurrence of its member countries) decided the New Iraqi Dinar was fairly valued at its current level, Iraq, could in fact enter the international currency markets with the Dinar valued precisely as it is now, and be tradeable at its current value with no increase whatsoever. Those of you who are fixated on the idea that the Dinar's value is too low (and we all know this is true relative to the country's wealth and natural resources possessed, but negating the stability issues of the country) are forgetting those world currencies (past and present) whose value relative to the US Dollar are the same, or less. i.e. Italy's Lira traded at 1,500 Lira to the dollar for years and right up until Italy was accepted in the EEU and converted to the Euro. I think we all agree that such a scenario is pretty much off the table as it would do nothing to serve the greater good. However, if you're going to keep an "Eyes wide open" approach to this investment, you should at least be cognizant of and considerall the possibilities.
  5. EXACTLY! Circumstantial evidence has sent more than one defendant to the gas chamber, but in each of those cases you had prima facie evidence of a crime having been committed. That said, as damning as the evidence found in the remains might be, if you can't prove cause of death, then how in the world are you going to prove a crime was ever committed. Guaranteed, it pains me no end to see Casey Anthony walk, it's a travesty of justice and I wouldn't urinate on her if she were on fire. However, I take a modicum of solace in the fact that in our judicial system can work for both sides.
  6. As stated, and if they are not lopping the currency, then at an exchange rate of say, $3.22, you are proposing that their new 25 Dinar note would be worth $80,500.00 US. It would make a lot more sense if you had stated that when the CBI pulls the 3 zero bills of the street and renominates, that the citizens would be given 1,000 25 Dinar notes per 25K note. Just exchanging a 25K note for a single, new 25 DInar note would be nothing less than a LOP. You can't spin it any other way. IMHO. Scott
  7. "My sources told me...." "Can't divulge my Sources" Oh yeah, and ....'NUFF SAID. ...PERIOD.
  8. His boss is meeting with Shabibi and others at 7:30 tomorrow morning? EEEYeeeeaaaaaaaahhhhhh, I'm thinkin', how about just go away.
  9. As did I. However, if memory serves, I seem to remember reading a number of articles (some of which had to do with the HCL and the Kurds portion of the Iraqi oil revenue) wherein it pretty well stated that we (the good guys), got the best deal at $32.00/bbl. China and Russia (our traditional friends), made their deals at $38.00 and $40.00/bbl, respectively. I'm pretty sure the deals are legit and went down in that fashion. I would dispute the notion that China and Russia got the same deal we did on per-barrel pricing. After all, Who fought that war, it damn sure wasn't Russia or China. Respectfully submitted, Scott
  10. I haven't heard anything on this subject in a few weeks and was wondering if there might be some sunshine in our future. When last we picked up our book on this never-ending saga in February, we read that Iraq had passed the new Tariff Laws as required by the WTO and they were supposed to be effective March 1st, mainly because they thought they would have had the RV done by then. When it didn't go down as planned, they suspended the Tariff laws until (and correct me if I'm wrong) ...April 6th, which is today. Can we assume that perhaps, they planned or are planning to have this all done today? Just wondering.
  11. Alrighty then,.... we've witnessed the events of the elusive budget, HCL (still ongoing apparently), and the never-ending shell game with the ministers. And now, it seems the world is fixated on the spinning reels of some giant slot machine, waiting for the just the right sequence to fall. Really??? Robbie the Robot? Seriously!! So, can we now assume that irrespective of all the wid a$$ guesses flying around, that not until the GOI is announced and seated will we see the RV finally, magically appear? ....Just wondering.
  12. Considering the fact that the 25 Dinar note has not been released yet, I'd say that would be a pretty good trick.
  13. - - TREAT AS RUMOR ONLY!!! Just got a call from a friend who just received an email containing info/intel from [bondLady] and [Elsie]. Said we should be watching for the RV at 10:00 pm CST. I'm assuming that's 09:00 Tuesday morning in Iraq. Let's cross our fingers, say a prayer and hope for the best. My best to all, Scott
  14. I'm not 100% sure,... but I'm thinkin' "Moron" comes to mind.
  15. Ditto! Until Ali comes to his senses and learns some manners, I won't be doing anymore business with Dinar Trade. I would say Ty (Dinar Banker) is the way to go, as well. Have traded with Ty over the last couple mnths, problem free. All the best, Scott
  16. Son, I've seen and done more in my first 30 years than you will your entire lifetime. So, let me just say to you (and I mean this from the heart), "You don't know ****". Oh, ...and have a nice day.
  17. Dear Madam, given the huge disparity in the quality and accuracy of information disseminated by Dinar Vets and our own wonderful forum here, it just begs the question, "Why would you want to access them"? ...Just sayin'
  18. I'm thinkin' Mods need to close this thread. I'm not seeing anything here of social import. Enough is Enough.
  19. Iraq will RV at $1.75 to $2.40 on a managed float for 2 years. After that, it will make its climb into the mid $3.00 range. I really love the $3.20 to $3.86 scenarios, but the mid-tier makes the most sense to start off with.
  20. Too funny. ...The sad part, is that I think they'd actually try to handle it just like that. Can you say, ..Maroon? Great Thought, But I think there a good ways off from that goal.
  21. Hey All, While we're all just sitting around and waiting with baited breath for this puppy to bark, I thought I'd make a personal observation here and see what y'all thought. With the clear and present knowledge that the "soon" is a subjective term, and the GOI always seems to wait 'til the very last nanosecond to accomplish something, and where, at this point, the popular supposition is that they will definitely RV prior to the 25th for obvious reasons, then wouldn't you think that they're cuttin' this baby a little close? As I think about the logistics of such a sudden shift, I have to wonder if they can get it out and handled by the local banks in the various regions in a timely and orderly enough fashion so as to avert the upcoming furor. Personally, I'm thinking they needed to trip that trigger yesterday. Any further delay is going to result in a total cluster you-know-what of a scene. Just wanted to get that out and see what y'all might think on the subject.
  22. WHAT A CROCK!!!! Folks,... do not be fooled by imitations, demand the best. Demand the REAL SteveI. This is not from SteveI!!!! You Mods should know that and get this garbage off the screen.
  23. Conspiracy? ...You don't know how right you are. Okay, let's examine this for a moment. Maliki wants the RV. Allawi wants the RV. Dr. Shabibi wants the RV. The whole world is pushing them towards an RV because the whole world needs it. And, who cares what Talibani wants. Agreed? ...Agreed. But, their can't be an RV until the government is seated and the ministerial positions filled. So, who's the 800 lb. gorilla in the room? Who is it that's making everybody's life miserable? ...You got it, ...Maliki. Maliki is trying his best to consolidate power for his side of the aisle and wants to be the people's hero. As such, he has basically laid down the gauntlet. He also wants the RV now, and without further delays. So, "You give me the RV and I'll give you the remaining 3 appointments. Make sense? ..You decide.
  24. Here's another something to consider, in the US we use a Comma (,) as a thousands separator, i.e. $1,070.00. In europe however, I've largely seen it expressed in just the reverse manner ... $1.070,00.
