  1. Dcoment, Yes, I've had this exact problem with Ali....I made a post about it on here with pics. I think you can click on my user name to see the thread. (sorry, using iPhone to type this so can't dig up the link). It still bugs me to the day.
  2. This may sound really stupid, but if that is the case (they know it's going to rise), why wouldnt DOHA buy more dinar at 1168 to $1 using the same means we're all using instead of shelling out $.35 per dinar "knowing" that it'll RV. Just a thought.
  3. Ask why the buy/sell rate are exactly the same.....and why only one decimal point (unlike all other currencies listed)
  4. Maybe call back again and ask for a supervisor?? Then ask the same question. For all we know, the "lowly" call center service reps are simply reading the same page/rates we're talking about. That there is no spread is what worries me. Why is IQD the only currency shown to just one decimal point? Some say it's because that means it's not currently being traded. Which COULD make sense, then again, why not just remove IQD from the list totally if that was the case.
  5. Hi all, check out the email thread between me and Ali below...... Not much of an explanation.... :( ----------------- De LA rue prints the notes for the CBI we have checked it on the De LA Ru machine they are 100% real dinar notes. Thanks Ali Dinar Trade Inc www.dinartrade.com Tel:877 770 7660 -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Order issue... From: Darren Garvey <> Date: Sun, January 09, 2011 11:16 am To: Dinar Trade <sales@dinartrade.com> Hi Ali, I ordered two separate quantities of Dinar from you in two separate orders. The second order came in yesterday and notes are noticeably taller than the notes from the first order. Can you explain please? See the attached pictures. Thanks, Darren
  6. thanks! I'll check ALL the security marks as you have. Just seems shady that IQDs can't be produced consistently?? You say you have 5 different sizes....all DT dinar are supposed to be uncirculated so it's not like theyve been beat up, they're crisp bills. I dare anyone to find two crisp USD bills that arent precisely the same size.
  7. Thanks guys, emailed Ali, awaiting response. Just a bit worried if nobody else has had the same problem.
  8. It does appear that way in the pic, but the other notes are clearly larger, even holding them in your hand you can tell. I'm a little worried. I'll email Ali and let you know his response.
  9. Hi All, New to the forum (posting anyway). Last month I ordered 750,000 dinar in 25k notes from Dinar Trade. Everything went smooth. And then recently I ordered 1,000,000 more dinar, again in 25k notes, and again from Dinar Trade. The 1,000,000 arrived today and I naturally stacked it up with my original order of 750,000 when I noticed something odd, and now scary... The physical size of the notes from the first order are about 1/16th of an inch taller than the more recent order!! I've heard nothing but good things about Dinar Trade, but something seems fishy here. I've never seen a stack of crisp USD that weren't perfectly the same size. Take a look at the pics and let me know what you think, or if this has happened to anyone else... Thanks for your input on this!!!
