Ya know, talkin' of slang..I betcha it has all to do with translatin'. We have to understand the nuance of things and we really can't because of regional differences in wording. One article can be translated or worded(again a subjective twist based on the translator) in a way that looks like it is in our favor and another a polar opposite..JMO! A colleague at work kept telling me about it and asked me to research it. He had been involved with purchases for a while by the time I started to look into it in November 2010. It seemed interesting to me, and the "newbie" in me got pumped pretty hard. The news and posts and the rumors all started to get blurred and I bought a million pretty quickly. I continued to buy dinar and buy into the idea that Iraq really wanted to RV.. A whole year later, I can look back to the times I was pumped into buying more. I also did "smart" buys when I could get it at very close to the 1170 rate. Like everybody(except for the masochists), I want the RV to happen sooner than later so I can turn around and invest in other ventures, buy fun stuff for my kids, donate to my charities, and not think about what the bloody Iraqis will do next! COME ON RV!! Sooner than later, PLEASE!

To all the DV family, Happy Holidays! While we celebrate with our immediate family during this time of year, it is the Dinar Vets extended family that we also celebrate. I have interacted more with some of you, sometimes just reading but putting my thoughts too, than I would with my cousins! I am sure after our RV celebration, I will find out I have LOTS OF FAMILY I don't know about! COME ON RV!!

Though it may not be the “promise” you want to hear, it outlines the ineptness and bureaucracy that Parliament and the Government have played in the delay in the revaluation of the New Iraqi Dinar. Let’s get started… Article… Deputy: draft deleted the three zeros did not lead to stronger foreign currencies dinar - Sunday 20-11-2011 Quote… “…more heavily traded by investors and Iraqi banks away from foreign currency trading…” This is a great quote…cause it tells us the biggest opponent to the CBI now “gets” it. She is saying now that “deleting the 3 zeros” will make the dinar more traded by investors (internationally) and Iraqi banks and away from foreign currency such as the USD. This is the goal of the CBI, and to have her understand is a big step in the right direction. IMO, if we we're looking for a good sign from Parliament that were on the right track to the RV, this is very good. Another quote from her…. “Najib said: draft delete zeros of Iraqi currency will make it easier for banks, banks, merchants and owners of large amounts of process transfer I finance them from one place to another, contrary to what is now…” Again, more confirmation she “gets it” now. All part of the plan. And this process will significantly help the banks as they can participate in local investment projects and as well seek international support and investment. Now she comments on the CBI’s plan…with this quote… “…not informed the Iraqi Parliament fully detail both event…” This quote is telling as it tells us that the CBI is not sharing all the details of the project. Which is understandable considering the significance of it. And this quote… “…and stressed that they intend to implement this project.” Another quote for us to hold on to. As she states that that CBI despite any objections, they intend to implement this project. And that is very good news. The next quote.. “…emphasizing: the need to raise awareness through citizen media to how to Exchange and use.” This again is telling. Everyone calls for the RV daily. When clearly there is work left to be done. This quote tells us the committee wants more awareness on the “exchange” and “use.” Something that we should be looking for. Whether in articles or symposiums…it is evident there will a campaign before the RV happens to inform the citizens. This quote from Saleh… “Deputy Central Bank Governor Mohammed appearance told earlier) for news News Agency): the draft deleted three zeros from the currency is not affected by any criticisms, noting that a national project to be implemented,..” Again for confirmation that from a technical aspect the project is going forward and will happen. Here is the first quote… “The bank will see significant growth by increasing their capital and the amount of money deposited by the indication by the quarterly reports prepared by the Securities Commission and the Central Bank in 30/9/2011.” This quote could easily be over looked…but key here is the “the amount of money deposited.” Pretty telling that the plan is working to collect the larger 3-zero notes and remove them from circulation. And more confirmation with this quote… “He pointed out that the interest rate when the increase would encourage the owners of the money from the public and companies to bid farewell to their money…” As stated before, the trick is to get the Iraqi people to invest in the banks, to have confidence and trust in the banking sector is to get them to open accounts and embrace the policies of the CBI. Here we see how the CBI uses “interest rates” to encourage Iraqi's to deposit theie money “thus giving up the 3-zero notes” and as the quotes said…”bid farewell” lol Next article… Excluding the high value of the dinar against the dollar Posted 19/11/2011 This quote is from the projects biggest opponent…Ms. Najib again…As we saw above, she is learning. And now she seems to be supportive. Though she still feels the GOI has stalled. Here is this quote.. “…it should consider how to strengthen the Iraqi economy and its diversity through the activation of all economic sectors in the country.” This quote tells us what we had said in the past. That for the RV to work, for the economy to grow, that the GOI, Parliament and all others must be on the same page. And it is stated “activation of all economic sectors” clearly telling us that our previous statements about agriculture, manufacturing, the stock market, etc. all needs to be in line..then and only then, will Shabibi feel the time is right to activate the who economy in Iraq. Again, we need to focus our attention and find articles of supporting progress in these sectors if we want to see the finish line. Next article… The demand for a national policy to address poverty - 11/20/2011 Just one quote in this article…more confirmation that this is not a single event… "The work to reduce the incidence of poverty is a national responsibility based on a package of measures…” So once again, we can see this is a package and not a single event, and certainly not an event that is called everyday…lol. And we know somewhere from 30-90 laws are sitting in Parliament for a final reading or so. The passing of these laws will activate the economic sector in Iraq. IMO we need to watch for the next few weeks of Parliament and what laws pass. This will give is the real window for when Shabibi will be ready to RV. I will end this with this article… 31 legally ready for Parliament vote - 20/11/2011 And this quote… “…that there are 31 legally ready for a vote will be included in the agenda of the first month of the legislative session…” These are just some of the laws. But what is key here is the timeframe..It appears they have these slated for the first month which takes us to the end of December. Next quote… “…vote on the basket wide range of laws as soon as possible, and not to allow some of which may seek to waste Council's time…” This is promising, as they want to pass many in a basket. And as soon as possible. There are quotes saying as many as 90 laws are waiting, so you can get an idea of the timing. Not to be negative, but clearly this could go another 1 to 3 months. This last quote tells us the severity and determination. They “get it.” But we need to watch coming days to see if they succeed. Here is that quote.. “at this critical stage and require sensitive and unity, and attitudes about the many challenges facing the country. " Done

That is seriously out of the "norm." Yes, we have seen the 220 million mark before...but is this the highest? I have been watching a year. This is getting me excited...last minutes of pulling in IQD before the..... RV!! Just come on!
