  1. I stand corrected.....I did it in my head and must have added a zero to my calculation by mistake.
  2. If you truly have $30k worth of dinar, that means you roughly have 30,000,000 dinar. How are you getting $173,040,000 with an rv of $6.18? That would actually give you around $1,800,000,000 not $173,000,000.
  3. For some reason some of my links arent working properly, but I assure you this is real news.
  4. Got this off DD and things seem to really be happening. When DD gets excited, I get excited......... Excellent LINKS to news articles brought forward by Kar at One Dinar… Check em out! On his part, Zebari agreed that the debt issue is a bilateral one that is not included in the UN Security Council resolutions related to Iraq. “The just-ended meeting highlighted the need for developing mechanisms to tackle such issues and tacked almost all controversial issues. “I think the coming committee meeting, due in Baghdad, will be more important for solving the essential issues although the just-ended meeting is one of the most important meetings between the two sides since the ouster of the former Iraqi regime (of Saddam Hussein),” he said. “There are a range of crucial decisions that need to be made in order to pave the way ridding Iraq of the sanctions adopted under Chapter VII of the UN Charter during the defunct regime,” Zebari affirmed. “We have discussed Iraq’s commitments to the UNSC resolution 833 relating to the sovereignty and safety of Kuwait and the freedom of navigation at the maritime corridors as well as the compensations for farmers,” he added. Melkert confident Iraq reaffirmation of land, maritime boundaries with Kuwait "within reach" Politics 4/8/2011 8:54:00 PM UNITED NATIONS, April 8 (KUNA) -- Ed Melkert, the UN Special Envoy to Iraq, on Friday said he was confident that Iraqi expected reaffirmation of the land and maritime boundaries with Kuwait is "within reach". "I am confident that the expected reaffirmation of the land and maritime boundaries pursuant to resolution 833 of 1993 by the Government of Iraq is within reach," Melkert told the Security Council as it met to examine Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon's periodic report on the work of the UN Assistance Mission in Iraq (UNAMI). "In turn," Melkert added, "there is now a basis for achieving full mutual understanding of the principle of unimpeded maritime access to Iraqi ports". Ban had suggested in his latest report to the Council on UNAMI that a letter by Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki "reaffirming the land and water boundaries pursuant to Security Council resolution 833 of 1993 would be an important confidence-building measure towards improving relations between Iraq and Kuwait". Melkert told the Council "I have expressed the hope that both parties will now seize this unique opportunity to show leadership in settling a complex and painful conflict at a time the region is searching for new perspectives of cooperation and development as a substitute for conflict and stagnation," he urged. Melkert said he felt "strongly encouraged" by the Kuwaiti leadership's commitment expressed to him while in Kuwait last February to "advance progress and resolution of issues with Iraq as part of a full normalization of relations between the two countries which both recognize they stand to gain from cooperation in all areas". The outstanding issues between Kuwait and Iraq also include the missing Kuwaitis and property. On stability in Iraq and its long-term prosperity, he said it will depend on progress made with respect to national reconciliation, and "in particular, the resolution of disputed internal boundaries and the status of Kirkuk". Moreover, he added, the terror attacks on Government structures, such as the one against the Salahadin Provincial Council building late last month, "continue to remind us of destructive minds and agendas at play". "The possibility that some may try to exploit some of the developments in the region to inflame sectarian tensions should not be discarded," he said in an indirect reference to Iran. Addressing the Council, Iraqi Ambassador Hamid Al-Bayati said Council resolutions 1956, 1957 and 1958 last December represent "the beginning of the end of the era of sanctions and restrictions" on Iraq, however, and despite those "positive" developments, "Iraq still has some way to go to resolve all outstanding issues with our brotherly neighbour Kuwait". He recalled that the Joint Kuwaiti-Iraqi Ministerial Committee met on March 27, 28 and the four sub-committees considered "all the issues that concern the two countries". "The importance of the meeting of the Joint Committee lies on its being the first of its kind, its consideration of the issues considered sensitive to both major parties, and the air of openness, transparency and the positive spirit which dominated," he told the Council. 5. Its probably just moving down because the dollar is losing value.
  6. Exactly......Small colleges and trade schools are the better way to go. You're thinking the exact same way I am and we need more people like you out there to get things turned around. It's only common sense.....
  7. Good post man and thanks for the links! Thats exactly what I am talking about. The whole "paying huge amounts of money for higher learning" is total BS and has been pushed on this new generation as "its the only way" and that is totally false. I'm telling you.......This whole paying big bucks for a higher education is a racket (a huge money making machine and nothing more) and on top of that, you get propaganda shoved down your throat. Of course, this is how the pogressives want it. Someone can read and study on a certain subject and know and understand it backwards and forwards, but if they didnt sit in a classroom, pay the big bucks and have someone tell them what to read and learn and then come out with a piece of paper stating they know what they are doing......According to this new society, that person basically doesnt know what they are doing and cant have a good career. This is the whole mentality that most of the higher education schools out there have and have been pushing onto our new generation for a long time. They have made it to the point that people cant even get a good job without that piece of paper even if they absolutely know what they are doing from their own studying and learning of the subject. I mean, when it comes right down to it........When you're going to a higher education school to learn, for the most part, the teacher/professor isnt the one teaching you. In the end, its you teaching yourself and the teacher/professor is only dictating what and at what time you will study and learn the material.
  8. You know what really pisses me off about this whole government shutdown BS? Our US military personnel will not get paid, but all the politicians and the like still get their pay........WTF is that?
  9. Who cares? The Constitution of the United States and those that are Americans and care about this country are who cares. Its people like yourself whom are ruining this country and its a shame......If you would only learn and know the TRUE (not what the progressives have spun) history of this great country and why certain things were done within the Constitution, you wouldnt be making the comment you did.
  10. I hadnt seen this posted here and wanted to share. If it has been posted already, I apologize. Anyway, I found this on another new site that only posts news and facts...... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=enyP81X2JHs&feature=player_embedded
  11. Higher educationschooling had to start somewhere.....It didnt just start on its own. It began from intelligent people that persued and taught themselves. Higher education schooling doesnt produce intelligent people as this new generation seems to push nowadays. I think you understand where I'm coming from.......
  12. Wait a minute.......London school of economics.......... Isnt that one of ole George Soros' schools he is heavily involved with? You know.......The George Soros' that broke the bank of England and is trying to destroy America and turn everything into a one world organization........The George Soros' that calls himself God...........Hmmmmmmmm.................. Now we know where he gets his knowledge on this......... Ha ha ha..........This is exactly what I was thinking when I was reading it......Its all about him and he knows everything about anything because he did this and that.........
  13. I appreciate Greggs opinion, but in all honesty, he doesnt have a clue....Only a lot of common sense that doesnt seem to show any facts he has spilled. First.....The new IQD came out in around 2003, not 2006 and a simple Bing search will tell you that. Second......You dont even know the actual rates, but you know what is or isnt going to happen? Third.....What does your work or schooling have to do with your intelligence or knowledge? Last I remember, the greatest minds in the word never even attended higher learning much less barely made it through highschool. Wanna go farther back, not too long ago there werent even schools of higher learning to learn from......So, what really is your point in spilling out your life achievements when really, you're no better than anyone else? Lastly.......My family knows some very high up people. All of which own IQD and two of them......are former, very high up, FED employee's that could take your job from you right now in a heartbeat if they wanted to. Why on earth would they tell my family about this investment and be HEAVILY invested themselves if what you say is gospel? Iraq lost its wealth in the blink of an eye.....What makes you think they wont get it back in a blink of an eye? You have your opinions and we can respect that, but dont come in here babbling about you know this and you know that and trying to show us the size of you manhood by thinking you can ramble on about things you have accomplished and think that we really care and are going to take your opinion to heart all that much more. Because honestly.........When the day ends and it comes down to it, you are just as normal as anyone else and you have just as much insight on what is going on with the GOI as does anyone else that isnt directly connected to the GOI.
  14. I wonder how many times they have burned the Bible, but..........Nevermind......What a bunch of egotistical hypocrits.....
  15. If you got them in Iraq, you probably only paid around $850 per million dinar. Why are you selling it for so much more if you want out? I can go down to my 5/3rd bank tomorrow and get 1 million dinar for around $1000 without having to worry if yours is real or not. If you are legit and really want to get rid of your dinar fast, I suggest selling them at a good deal and drop the price to around $900 per million. And dont say that 1k, 5k and 10k notes cost more because they cost the same as 25k notes through 5/3rd bank. I know this because I purchased 1 million dinar in 5k notes through my 5/3rd bank and it cost me the exact same amount as it did when I purchased 1 million dinar in 25k notes.
  16. I agree. He also mentioned that currency dealers were the only place to get dinar because it's not internationally recognized. Does he not know you can go to the bank and get it? Definitely smoke!
  17. I absolutely can not wait for the day that someone takes Soros out.
  18. Opec isnt going to like this........Well, they may......They may just start to take water over now and the government will tax us more heavily on it.
  19. I thought that when Saddam invaded Kuwait, he stole their printing mints and a lot of their currency and so Kuwait had to devalue their currency until the US came in and got Iraq out. Then after the war and the printing mints and money that Saddam stole was found and brought back to Kuwait, they reinstated/revalued their currency back. Isnt this basically how it happened?
  20. So, basically, all the auctions are for is for Iraq to trade IQD for USD so they can make international purchases? This would mean to me that it really doesnt matter if we see the auctions every day and even on those days with the auctions, we could still see a revalue/reinstatement of the dinar. Am I correct on my thinking? This would mean good news to me because I was under the impression before that if an auction occured, Iraq was just selling the dinar and putting more out there in circulation and there wouldnt be any revalue/reinstatement of the dinar for a while if this was happening pretty much every day.

  22. It was sad for sure, but did anyone else notice that the Iraqi's kept saying, per the editing, God is the only God? That should show you right there that something seems a little fishy with the video. Another leftist twist to things like what Michael Moore does to plays on everyones emotions. The Iraqi's were saying Allah is the only God, not God is the only God........Alah is their God, not God and it makes me wonder why they would edit it to say God is the only God, which makes no sense whatsoever. Now, show it correctly with Allah is the only God and it changes a lot.......Shows that they dont recognize anyone elses beliefs in any other God, but their own and everyone else is an infidel.
  23. You are forgetting one key thing here.......They devalued the IQD over night and at a blink of an eye, what makes you think they cant revalue or reinstate it over night at a blink of an eye?
  24. I'm lost or maybe its just because I'm really tired, but how do you get $1.17 out of $.86? The rate right now is $.00086 (thats about 9 tenthousandths of a penny) and if 3 zeros were dropped, it would go to $.86 (thats about 9 tenths of a dollar). Where is the $1.17 coming from in this? Nevermind, I just need to go to bed. I figured it out that I was thinking wrong. LOL
  25. Hey Scooter, could you give us a rundown on the recorded chat? Some of us may not be able to listen to it. BTW.....You have any job openings? LOL
