Adam, why does it seem to me that any news coming out of Iraq comes out on Wednesday. The rest of the week is usually quiet. What days of the week does parliament hold meetings? I would think that if we are as close to the end as we have heard, that there would major news coming of Iraq several times a week. I am not complaining, I am just very curious, and am coming to you for the straight scoop

Even, I said even, if this were true regarding the $3, the US government would not allow us to suddenly acquire such wealth.

Adam. Was curious on your take for this. Today when I drove into town (western Ohio) I noticed that all the gas stations had raised their prices by about .30 cents a gallon. Are the oil prices starting to raise or was this just a local increase? I have no other information except the price increase. Thanks. GO RV

Adam we have come too far together, and in the process have rooted out these people. I just want to say that I am with you till the end ,if it ends up .10 or $1.00. Hi Adam. I can just about figure that this question has been answered, but the answer hasn't soaked in on me yet. So if you will please indulge me one more time, I would be very happy. My question is about the large Denomination Dinars verses the small ones. I have given some thought to holding on to some of my dinars, hoping they will increase in future. Will there be a deadline for converting in the large Dinars for the small ones, or can I hold the large ones as long as I please without a penalty? And do you think that the budget will be finished by the end of the year (the month) ?

It never seems to fail that when someone has an opinion about this investment, someone else takes it personal and has to lecture. I meant this only as an opinion, not a statement in fact. Since we seem to be getting close to the end of this ride, I think we could lighten up a little bit on each other. After all we are all in this together, If it is 10 years or 10 days. If I offended you ,I apologize. However I am still sticking to my statement, and a .10 return is an insult to the Iraqi people the same as it is to all other investors. After the RV happens this subject could be completely mute anyway.

My thoughts on the amount of the RV is that Iraq is a wealthy enough country that .10 is an insult to the investors. They can do a 1 to 1 and never break a sweat. Sure hope I didn't wait all this time for.10. But we will just have to just wait and see.

Hi Adam. Is it true that the Iraqi government is going to be shut down for the month of December? That sound's like the government of Maliki. When things started to move he would call for a vacation. So if they do shut down in December, there goes another year of waiting ( no bills will be past till January). Please, please correct me if I am wrong. However, I do commend this government for the way they have pulled themselves together and got things done. Go RV

:)Nice post Adam. On the issue of how much it will RV for, I have no idea of the exact amount but I just can't in my opinion see it being worth much if it RV's below 50 or 75 cents. It would make it look like everyone has been taken for a very long ride. They have the wealth to RV at a decent rate and to bring it out at a low rate would not set well with a lot of people who invested and then waited all these years to receive penny's on the dollar. Just my opinion and mine alone. We all have an opinion of the rate and no one knows any more than the rest of us. Just GIT-R-DONE

Thanks for the cheer up post, Adam. I've been ( along with about everyone else ) waiting for them to get to the HCML. Now we'll just have to keep a eye on the gazette, when it's in there I'll really feel better. When the RV does come it will be kind of sad in a way. We have met and gotten acquainted with so many nice folks on this site over the years and when the RV is completed a lot of us will go our separate ways. But for a while we were all one group with a common cause. And so if things start happening fast and the RV is here before we know it, I would like to take this time, while I am thinking about it, and wish everyone good luck and good health in the future. Adam, how many laws can parliament vote on at a time? Is it possible that they could act on 2 or 3 laws in the same day, or do they have to take a breather between each of them. And how much time does it take for it to be entered in the Gazette after it is approved. I suppose you have answered this before but if you did I didn't get the memo. Why are there, on avarage, no news stories coming out of Iraq on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and several times on Mondays? That leaves Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays to find out what's going on over there.
