I checked in David http://iqd.me/l/11, Seemed like a good guy and knowledgeable, but all he does is open a warka account for you and then takes 20% when and if its time to cash in. As for all the other stuff, like Public Enemy says....Don't believe the hype...Currency is currency...As long as its not counterfit and you buy from a reputable source....You are good to go...YOU can buy your dinar at basically most of the local banks at this point. Once its hits the currency exchange and is listed you can can exchange anywhere you can exchange any currency. Hey these are my thoughts and my opinions from the research I have done. I am not saying i am the smartest, or the most knowledgeable, because i am not, but i feel pretty good about what i am saying.

They replied and gave me the exact address. I also got my log ins for my online warka savings account. THey did say to use courier service. Any recommendations on what courior service to use to get it to Iraq? Please advise for any of your past experiences. Thank you, Rob aka Rainmaker

Hello All Dinarvet faithful, Hope all is well. I have a few questions in regard to Warka Trading Account. I set up my account very painlessly, sent id via email, got my usd and iqd account #, i wired the funds to warka citi, they dispursed them for me to usd and iqd, i received confirmation of receipt of my account funding. I had the 3 signatures and the letter stating the documents provided are me and where and when i was born and are true and correct and had it notorized, I sent a color copy of my passport, my drivers license and the $103 money order to us legalization. I put in a return fed ex. Took about a week to get back using 2 day fedex. Now I have all my verified documents, a couple of certifications, an iraqi embassy stamp, etc. I made copies of it just in case as a previous posted said to do. NOW WHAT DO I DO? WHERE DO I SEND IT? WHAT IS THE CORRECT WARKA ADDRESS? ANY TRICKS OF THE TRADE? ANYTHING I SHOULD KNOW? AVOID? HOW DO I PUT IN TRADE ORDERS? HOW DO I RESEARCH WHAT TO BUY? ANYONE HAVE ANY GOOD STOCK BUYS? I AM INTERESTED IN JUST SPREADING MY MONEY OUT AND BLANKETING A LITTLE OF EVERYTHING? ANY IDEAS HOW TO DO THIS? WHAT TO INVEST IN? PLEASE NO RUMORS. JUST FACTS. APPRECIATE YOUR ASSISTANCE IN ADVANCE. TD BANK - STILL HAS DINAR AVAILABLE IN NYC - 25K MIN DENOMS. I TRIED TO GET SMALLER ONES. A BOLD POP UP COMES UP 25K MINIMUM DENOMINATIONS. THEY SAID 3 DAYS WHEN I FIRST BOUGHT THEM, BUT MORE LIKE A WEEK TO A WEEK AND A HALF UNLESS YOU GO TO ONE OF THEIR LOCATIONS WHERE THEY HAVE IT ON THE SPOT BASED ON AVAILABILITY. THEY SAID ALOT OF PEOPLE ARE REQUESTING THEM AND THEY ARE BECOMING TOUGHER TO GET AND TAKING LONGER TO GET. YOU DON'T NEED AN ACCOUNT YOU SIT DOWN WITH AT THE DESKS NOT THE TELLER. THIS IS NOT ILLEGAL BY ANY MEANS. IF YOU CAN ORDER THEM FROM THEM, YOU CAN ALSO EXCHANGE THEM THERE AT WHATEVER THE EXCHANGE RATE IS AT THAT MOMENT. I'LL TELL YOU ONE THING, YOU GET A BETTER RATE THAT YOU GET FROM ANY BROKER OR VENDOR.

I think the best thing to do. Is explore the site and search for key words and you will get a lot of opinions and then you can draw your own conclusions. There are some very knowledgable people on here, but no one is an expert and no one really knows. Your best bet.

I emailed the bank, they asked me to email them a photo id, i did, next day i received my account #'s. I then went to td bank where i bank with and wired to their warka citi account. a few days later i got an email from warka telling me they put in the $150 in usd in one acct and the balance of the money i wired in IQD. Im all set. Next email i got was if i wanted to open an online banking dept for 15,000 dinar for the year. It appears it was smooth sailing and i have had no probs thus far.

I sent my first wire to Citi Warka Bank. I will keep you posted on the play by play. I believe yesterday was a holiday. I believe it takes some time to hit. I will follow up and post how it goes.

I have the same question. Do I have to wire $150 usd into us acct and the equievelent of 300k in dinar into the iqd account or does warka take care of all of this for us?
