In Iraq

I just finished conversing with an Iraqi merchant about the dinar. He was joking with an African that the 25000 dinar note he gave him was a counterfeit. It wasn’t. I asked him when he thought the dinar was going to change in value. He stated the first of the year they will lift 3 zeros and the dinar will be equal with the US 1 for 1. So I asked him what the 25000 note he held would be worth he said 25 US dollars, the 1000 dinar note 1 US dollar, etc. He also said the dinar will be equal to the Kuwait money gradually. Not exactly the news I cared to hear since I have 6 million but about what I expected from these crooks in Iraq. It sounds like Iraq is getting an interest free loan from the investors and that the only ones profiting are the dinar dealers. Take it for what it is worth but he was happy about this.

After years of being "In Iraq" and travelling from the very north to the very south and everywhere in between I say .86 maybe and hoping. This country's infrastructure sucks and is in terrible shape. The politics and politicians are terrible.Looks like a huge junk yard over here.

Compared with their body odor a fart smells like perfume. They stink to the point of having to turn your head to the side and gasp. I just don't believe there have been that many complaints for something as trivial. It is probably a way of the U.S. government spending millions of dollars of tax payer money to conduct a study.

You are right about the people being corrupt even toward their own. I think they take pride in swindling. We are way at the bottom of the list for countries they would go out of their way to help. I have seven years experience in the middle east so you can't convince me otherwise.

This is a correct statement. All you guys have a great 4th of July looking at the forums predicting August RV. I haven't been on the site for a while and it is the same BS, only a different day of a different RV month. Is anyone actually employed? People have been killed for less. You don't mess with a person's family. I've witnessed it first hand. You never know what that person on the other end of the internet is really like, mentally unstable, etc.. Some people just don't play that.

It all comes down to the fact that you are capable of producing a thought on your own without believing everything that is said or placed in print. I respect that, doesn't mean I have to agree with everything you say. I will give it some thought though. I also was kicked off of PD because of some clown called Ray whom I disagreed with about 1 of his many false predictions. And I made the statement in a politically correct statement. He and others think of him as some god like person and he is a total crackpot. And as far as the type you don't want to meet in a dark alley, I am that person if you cross me. I can be the best person you will ever meet in your life or I can be your worse enemy. Depends on what side of the fence you want to fall off from.
