Umbertino, I spent a week there in warmth and sunshine, loved every day. And a lot of English spoken there too being formally ruled by Great Britain. Thanks Cooked, we all need to relax that's for sure. As for me I want to stick with the plan I have in place and the first part is travel to Vancouver, B.C., via the Canadian Rockies rail system for vacation and setting up the future for myself and my family. What else to do? I don't know really. OMG!!! What's happened to my brain? "Relax, just relax...", I tell myself. Cooked said this is to relax. My mind then starts wondering again. What to do? So I have a hundred things come into my head. I force my self again to relax and made just a list of three things. The other 97 will have to wait. They are: 1. Buy waterfront or mountain land somewhere in the north and set up a log ranch home with an office. As to start a business, I can't say 100% yet, unless it's advised as necessary for asset protection. I've been thinking lakefront in Nevada, either Vegas area or Lake Tahoe. But it gets crowded and there are a lot of tourists. So maybe elsewhere, somewhere serene. 2. For relaxation, a villa in Cyprus, which I'll lease while there. May consider a purchase and lease it to others. Depends on taxes and investment and earnings potential. 3. Hey, I'm dumber than dirt but here I am, not unhappy at all. Shoot, I probably just don't know enough to be investing in another country's money. I look at it simply that if they have all that oil and gas they're bound to be rich one day. So don't fret, in my opinion you and me are on the right track!! Just hang tight. Cosmo

Hey thechosenone, do what you believe is right in your heart, you'll sleep better at night. Let go of the disappointment about the dinar going nowhere.These gurus are pretty much fools anyway. Stay grounded. It's just an investment in a country's currency with no guarantees. We all have hope something good will come out of this, I feel something good has already. I've made a lot of new friendships here and learned how money isn't everything in life. See things on the bright side. You'll be ahead every time.

Betty, I have to agree completely with you about it. My travel to the nation of Cyprus and city of Limassol was wonderful and I thought how great it would be to retire there! Island hopping to the Greek isles such as Crete would be awesome! For golf, as you know I love golf, I would have a summer home in your lovely land of Scotland! Just point me the way dear Lizzie! For business and post retirement work and winter fun, I would be living in Lake Tahoe, Nevada part of the time. So, I guess I would have to have three homes to live in!!

Bodeen and Bamagirl, I smoked for 32 years, was smoking a pack and a half when I woke on Christmas morning in the year 2000 and instead of having my first cigarette prior to getting up out of bed. I got up, grabbed my pack and the ashtray and walked downstairs. I mumbled "no more" on the way. I put the almost full pack above the desk on a shelf in my office, where I use to smoke constantly. I then went around collecting up all of the ash trays in the house and took them to a spot in my garage to stay out of sight. I kept telling myself "you can do it, don't give in" the rest of the day and the next and the next. After a week the withdrawals began to subside and each day after it kept getting better and better. After two weeks I grabbed the pack off the shelf and threw them away in the kitchen waste can. Never blinked twice to do it. After a month I began to notice how I was breathing easier walking up inclines and steps. After a few months, my taste buds were coming alive. I couldn't believe what a difference it made with the taste of food. Instead of gaining weight as I had feared - I lost 15 pounds. Yes I did eat way more carefully because of having that fear. By the way, I had tried twice before to quit and failed, now I knew it was truly over. So, here I am almost eleven years later. Never once did I smoke again. Just believe you can do it within your mind and soul and you will. It's all up to you. Good luck and God be with you both.

Hi Joe, welcome to our "home", it's a really a fun place to hang out. We're gonna all go nuts once the big moment happens if not sooner lol. There will be a post rv party coming so keep an eye on the threads about it! (sorry if already told) Here's my dog Maddy's photo. A mixed Australian Shepherd, he got nabbed last year in my part of Texas and I never could find him. I miss him so much.

Awww darn, 10 cents per dinar. I want it higher too but think about what 10 cents gets us investors. Let's do one example. Let's say I went and bought a thousand dinar note off of eBay. The sale went like $2.50 which is way more than a person should have paid. Okay, now on a 10 cent RV , I go get my Windows calculator tool and multilply 1000 times .10. It says "100.0". $100 isn't anything to cry about, really. I actually bought twenty 5000 notes one night. It cost me like $141.00. It would get me $10,000 on a 10 cent RV. Do I want more? Absolutely, but I won't complain about 10 cents either. Reality is anything out of this is better than zip. Just my opinion.

Gosh sometimes I wish this RV would hurry up so I can move to Canada. Vancouver is a very nice place I hear. Don't get me wrong. I'm as American as apple pie. I love my country no matter what 'spoilages' are seeming to happen nowadays. I wish my children and grandchildren to have wonderful lives to live. All we can do is vote the bad elements out. Stand firm in our belief that this is a free and God loving country. But let's make sure we're voting the right ones out 'cause anyone can be making things up about anybody. Who are you gonna believe??? Oh, there's more before I close. Why all the fear mongering??? What does that get anyone? Write something productive like, "...this is a bad situation in my opinion and here is the way out from it, people."
