  1. The third to the last article states, "lifted Parliament Speaker Salim al - Jubouri , a parliament session on Monday , without specifying a date. According to a parliamentary source told all of Iraq [where] that "al-Jubouri told House members that the next meeting will be held after the assessment and Altdqq completeness CVs of the candidates of the new ministerial cabin and be invited to the hearing after they're done by the committees and stakeholders" .. follow" Adjourning indefinitely because there is no more to talk about? It is about to be Show Time with no more stalling or rehearsing?
  2. The second to the last article states, "Initiative presented by al-Hakim, the head of the House of Representatives pointed to the need to focus on a package of specific laws in six laws are of great significance nationally, economically and socially, developmentally and politically to be legislation in parliament within the specified time period as well as identifying ninety days to implement the first part of the road map, starting from the middle of the month current and ending mid-July to assess what has been achieved and evaluate the commitment of all parties to the duties entrusted to them, calling the initiative to the adoption center and realistic government program covering the remaining period of the government commissioned a specific ceilings and clear time for each task in it." These could be al-Hakim's words alone. However, I can't help but imagine the 90 day time frame and evaluating the commitment of all parties of the duties entrusted to them has been set by others such as US, Ban Ki Moon, Jim Yong Kim, etc to ensure this set of ducks is in a row. I also wonder if one of the six laws of great significance is the HCL.
  3. I agree. I suspect al-Sadr's influence will grow even more with al-Maliki and associates dispatched and the Iranian Qod (militias) expelled off Iraqi soil (Turkish forces will likely, too, be booted) as well as all the other noncoalition forces (ISIS extermination included) making Iraq more of a stand alone entity. All good news for us. For those who may not know, CV stands for Curriculum Vitae. A Curriculum Vitae is kinda like a resume but includes other biographic information not typically included in resumes in the US.
  4. Thank You, DinarThug, for the followup news post, too! Could you help me out a little bit? Laying on the chair to the left of al-Sadr is what appears to be a mini European Shopping Bag (man purse). Am I seeing this correctly?
  5. Thanks, Jaygo. I wasn't directing this to you, just folks who are new and may just now be investing in the IQD. This was meant for their awareness. I by no means of any sort am a savior or intending to save the community. Scams are real and I have had a family member scammed of a fairly large sum of money in a somewhat similar opportunity in the late 90s. The scammer used much the same tactics/story lines that are currently being deployed by the likes of a fairly large number of gurus posted here.
  6. I am not sure but BGG may stand for Blowing Guru Garbage (all over the place). Just sayin'. Seems like these folks are misconstruing/misinterpreting the events in Kurdistan region of Iraq. The entire international community would need to accept Kurdistan currency as being viable. If I am not mistaken, ISIS was even trying to establish their own currency. I realize ISIS and Kurdistan are two very different entities and scenarios. A new currency would be very hard to establish based solely on Kurdistan's merits (IMO). What would the international rate be for the Kurdistan currency? On par with the IQD, Vietnamese Dong, Iranian Rial, etc.? Likely not worth much having.
  7. My thoughts/opinion. A word of caution for those who may not be familiar with the likes of Tony. Gurus like Tony have made many statements that time has not proven to be correct. I am not sure if Tony has made many, if any, correct statements. Please be careful post event. These same gurus may then be broadcasting some 1-800-get-duped number(s) or special groups, if you qualify, for you to exchange your IQD for higher rates, etc (Hey, you might even get to meet Madam Wu personally and she will autograph something for you!). There may be special and private exchange locations (marked or unmarked or Reno or something) with special dealers or brokers. When you get there, you may then realize you've been had and it is too late. What these same gurus are potentially doing now is gaining name recognition and perception they have been around so long and must know something the unknowing and unsuspecting do not know - so they can be scammed. Maybe bring a box of cereal you are saying you have your IQD in. When you open the box at the exchange, you then advertise your spouse, kids, or grandkids must have switched the boxes and you need to hurry home (to the police station for your personal safety) and get the right box. Say things in an exasperated tone like, "I told my spouse (kids, grandkids, etc.) to leave that box of cereal alone" and gauge their reaction. If they are peeved and understanding, they may potentially be OK. If they get angry or try to keep you there for your spouse to bring the right cereal box, they likely are not going to be nice to you and were intending to scam you. Under no circumstances should you allow anyone you do not know very well to accompany you to your home. If you have given them your home address, you may want to consider special safety tactics.
  8. Yeah, I hear you. Truth can be stranger than fiction, in full view, and not readily comprehended.
  9. No, I have not been to the Masonic Memorial in D.C. I have seen various documentaries on the Masonic roots to D.C. and it's layout. Tell me more.
  10. I agree. Use and lose while covering up and/or diverting attention away from any culpability. That is why I am more inclined to think Maliki has outlived his usefulness and they don't want to hear any singing canaries. I am thinking Maliki (and associates) days are pretty limited so no singing canary songs are heard that will expose the real instigators. I suspect Iran, and others, will want to avoid any flaps due to Maliki and associates. Et tu, Brute?
  11. Thanks, TennesseeCherokee. I had missed earlier the purpose and reasoning for Zebari for being the temporary finance minister. Mahdi's out. Thanks good news.
  12. Thank You, DinarThug, for the article! The article states, "But much more hard currency was needed to fund an entire country like Iraq. So early on our government decided that even though Iraq was under heavy sanctions and on the OFAC list, that through executive order 13303 that the currency of Iraq would be legal for banks in the US and Europe to sell to their citizens. Very remarkable at the time considering Iraq was still on the OFAC list; In fact unheard of. So in the early days of the resurrection of Iraq before they had oil to export, before they had any products to sell to raise money, they were allowed to sell their currency to raised hard currency. That is why there is now probably close to 33-34 trillion dinars released but not circulating. Was this part of the plan from the beginning? Quite simply it was the plan. A way to refinance the start up from scratch a new democratic Iraq. Did it go to far? We have some indications that it did exceed the original numbers they had planned to let Iraq sell." When I decided to invest in this speculation several years ago (and several years after it started), I thought the sale of the Iraqi dinar had to be a way the Iraqi government was funding itself until they were able to rebuild their economic infrastructure and were able to be a multifaceted international economy (not solely on oil). I was suspicious of the relatively easy availability of the Iraqi dinar to the average citizen. My thought was the rug would get pulled out from under the average citizen once the Iraqi economic crisis was mitigated. I then ran across EO 13303 and I gained confidence that this speculative investment was real and I would have a reasonable opportunity to benefit from it. The IQD dealer I purchased from was registered with the US Treasury and there were no negative reports on the Better Business Bureau site where the IQD dealer was registered. Here is the text from EO 13303 with my emphasis added: Executive Order 13303 of May 22, 2003 Protecting the Development Fund for Iraq and Certain Other Property in Which Iraq Has an Interest By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, as amended (50 U.S.C. 1701 et seq.) BUSH, President of the United States of America, find that the threat of attachment or other judicial process against the Development Fund for Iraq, Iraqi petroleum and petroleum products, and interests therein, and proceeds, obligations, or any financial instruments of any nature whatsoever arising from or related to the sale or marketing thereof, and interests therein, obstructs the orderly reconstruction of Iraq, the restoration and maintenance of peace and security in the country, and the development of political, administrative, and economic institutions in Iraq. 13. This is a great place where we can help each other.
  14. Looks like the finance minister, Zebari, is out of there as well as the current oil minister, Mahdi. With the old corruption and very powerful guards of finance and oil removed, the other dominoes may fall pretty fast. In another recent news article posted today, Obama may call for more troops to aid in liberating Mosul. Is this really the intended mission of these additional troops? Maybe time will tell and future articles may be interesting!
  15. It is fantastic to see the Iraqi women are articulating an urgent and unified reform message for very clear reasons to show they have a voice in social and government affairs.
  16. Yota, Thanks for posting. The article, though, in the post only has a partial bar. I clicked on the bar and this ugly and agitated buffoon appeared with a bunch of script in Arabic. Not sure if he was using foul language or not. If no foul language, could you repost the article? Many Thanks!
  17. Good Morning, Yota, and many Thanks for all these great articles! Looks like you found some good, hot, and prolific coffee this morning! Let me know if you think you are going to run low anytime soon and let me know what you want.
  18. Thanks MagaWatt - there are nine months left in 2016. www.ino.com is showing crude oil now at ~38 $/bbl. If 2016 crude oil price ends at $60/bbl and there is a relatively even approach (steady climb and low price swings to the end of 2016), crude may top 45 $/bbl around the end of June this year.
