  1. It was just for fun...someone mentioned the name Bluestar in their post, I just couldn't resist quoting Michael Douglas in Wall Street. Very cool movie and all about the investment and knowing the market. WE are all investors who know something others don't about currency investing,..just thought it was a fun distraction... Peace
  2. Very interesting...here is my latest news: Teldar Paper loves Bluestar Airlines!!! If you are a true investor, you will know what this means... Peace
  3. Morning!pdat Well, it may just be a bounce in rate, but Forex on http://www.netdania.com/Products/live-streaming-currency-rates-foreign-exchange/real-time-quotes/QuoteList.aspx?m=q has 1133 as the exchange rate as of 1:08 CST. I know we have have as low as 1142 in the past few months, but this is the lowest I have seen and it was updated that early in the morning at 1am here: - 9am in Iraq. The forex usually has one or two updates a day and I can't remember one before our market opens in New York ... ...thoughts anyone? Peace and GO RV!!
  4. I guess that all makes sense but...what sense does it make to stamp these new coins with 500 and 1000 if the are gonna be .50 and 1.00.???? Could this be a sign that RD is later or not at all OR they will have so much money after the RV they won't care if they have to print/stamp new currency??? Makes ya think doesn't it....
  5. If this is the actual value of these new coins, then am I to think that the coins being worth that many dinar, we WONT see a removal of Zeros? It wouldn't make sense to create coins worth that much if they were going to remove zeros would it? Just askin....
  6. I will pray for you and your family. I lost my first son after an hour and a half, so I understand the feelings they are having. Keep them close and especially about 6 weeks from now. After the friends and family go back to their lives, there will still be a void left, rooms full of baby stuff to live around and this is when they will reallly need some support and maybe even some counseling. PM me if yo u want to know more, but I will surely keep them in my prayers!! Peace
  7. Good post!! I have been here for months, just watching and learning - so I really find it interesting what the last part of this post said. This part was from an Angry American - why aren't more of us angry? I grew up from the sixties, so I saw all sorts of things change. We have definately forgotten what our great grandfathers and grandfathers fought for. We have elected people into power who are supposed to have our best interests at heart, but do they really? From my small part of the American Dream, all I see is programs, excuses, spending and basically h)olding the American people hostage while they live lavish lives with 5 homes, really nice cars, lifetime benefits (yes they keep the BEST PRIVATE healthcare for them and their families for LIFE!! ) I recently read when the constitutional congress was writing up the constitution and isn't interesting that the number one fight on the floor was this:" We can't allow our federal government to have supreme power over us". They followed on with this statement "We just fought the war (Revoloutionary War) to get out from under one power controlling our lives, telling us how to worship, taxing us without representation...why would we want to go back to THAT?" That was their biggest fight and almost caused there to never be agreement. They looked at freedom as their largest and main concern...do we do that now? They called it The United States ARE America, not of. They wanted states rights and tried to have limited government in their lives. That was their goal...is that where we are now? Our leaders are about themselves, and it doesn't suprise me that they would hold this up until THEY were ready. Our President has shown little interest in really "changing" our country for the better and it makes further sense that he needs this before the election so he can have at least one feather in his cap. Up until now, I am not aware of any others??? Anyway, I welcome anyone's responses, and you can bash me all you want, but the Angry American above was very correct, we really need to return to God, Country and Family. We will not remain the #1 nation much longer without it! If we don't look at the whole picture, not just our finances, this will just be more money to feed a bad system. These are just my opinions, not rumor, and I liked the post myself. I think we may see the RV very soon and I pray for it daily. Peace!
  8. Thanks for the post. We are all hopeful!
  9. Wow, what a slap in the face. I think we should back charge them about 10 million (USD ) per US Soldier/Citzen who gave their lives, and then put that together with a bill for all that we spent over the last 10 years helping them with their country. Hmm...I just wonder how they will feel when they look at the HUGE imbalance in that bill versus what they are saying WE OWE????? I don't really understand how any country that we have done/given so much to can even think about something as ignorant as this...but we do have Obama, who will most likely pay them anyway. We can't get our own people taken care of with Medicare, but after you spend billions, why not just throw one more, heck, let's just rebuild their major cities for them...that wouldn't take but about 50 Billion...we got it! Ah, we could tell them, RV at 5.00 and we will call it even???? Just my opinion. Alan
  10. Congratulations on the new baby!!! Hope all goes the best for you and your family!!!
  11. Yes, I agree with you. It is very cool to see not just the value of a dinar going up, but also that the people of Iraq, who have had their homes, cities and generally their lives run into the ground for so many years - now there is not just an improvement, but even more that they will have a strong country again soon. So many people have paid the ultimate price for this to happen and yes, I am glad that there may be something in this for me and mine, but Cautiouslyhopeful makes a GREAT point here. Thanks for the post and the reminder that this hasn't come without great sacrifice!! The number doesn't really matter, as long as it is in the positive direction. If we make money, so do they. The more they make, the better reduction of their budget and debt for Iraq. The sooner they get that under control, the sooner we see oil production increase and the price per barrel comes down - would love to see a lower price at the pumps as a result. That helps everyone!!! Go RV!!! Peace.
  12. Thanks for posting. It is good to hear things that are new and different...not the usual recycled hype that so many sites have on them! Go RV!!
