I'd like to believe it ... BUT ... Why is it that one rumour can have concrete evidence the RV is done and the rate is $3.22 and another rumour with just as supposedly concrete evidence can have a rate that's over $5 ??? I can't put much credence into any rumour, if neither has the same facts (basically being - the same rate). IT WILL HAPPEN ... WHEN IT HAPPENS !!!!

ewwww !! Oh .. sorry - I thought that said mother !!! ha ha ha ...

* Okie Rumor: 2/12/11 ”This time it has happened”
BJinMontreal replied to Cash187's topic in Dinar Rumors
Oh good Lord ... 100% sure ???? Like he wasn't every other time ? It's deja vu all over again !!! -
Don't you think that Okie should be wonderin' "what the heck line of bull are they feedin' me today" every now and then? I mean how often do you have to be told it's done - when it obviously isn't - before you start to catch on. It's like the episode of the Simpson's when Bart kept touching the hot stove ... ouch ... ouch

What?? no RV in Canada?? Okie and his gang were WRONG again??

Maybe they should create a new forum and call it - Things that May Happen When Pigs Fly ... or ... Things that May Happen When Hell Freezes Over -
Sorry for the confusion - NOT within a TFSA - but a regular savings account at ING Direct.

I guess this is one way to punish thier people.

Will they be shutting down the phone lines next? Talk about trying to control the population ... scary, indeed. I would hope that any such action in North America would cause some serious uprisings amongst the populous to take back control of their lives from governments that are trying to push nefarious agendas upon them by legislating their freedoms away. -
Unfortunately you can't hold foreign currency within a tax-free savings account - you can hold stocks, or money market funds, but not a speculative currency. I checked with both ING Direct and TD Waterhouse about this, because I was thinking the same thoughts. We are left with no choice but cashing them in and paying our taxes. By the way - I was also told the most money you could hold in a TFSA was $5,000,000

Link ?? Maybe here: http://hubpages.com/hub/IRS-Gift-Tax-Limit Though it doesn't mention an increase, just that if you are married the limit is $26,000 - Here's the text: IRS Gift Tax Limit for 2010, 2011 IRS Gift Tax Limit Information If you are someone who regularly gives away large amounts of money or property, then it is important for you to be familiar with the IRS gift tax limits. The gift tax limits are set in place by the IRS, so your gifts are taxable only above a certain amount. Currently the IRS will allow you to give away up to $13,000.00 annually without having to pay any tax on the gift. This $13,000.00 can be given to one person or any number of people. If you are married, then this amount increases to $26,000.00. One important thing to remember is that the recipients of your gift will never have to pay any tax on the gift. If the giver of the gift goes above the IRS gift tax limit amount, the giver will pay the gift tax on the gift. How Much Can I Give In a Lifetime? You are allowed to give up to one million dollars in gifts above the annual limit in your lifetime without having to pay taxes. This means you need to plan carefully to ensure you do not exceed your annual limit as well as your lifetime limit. Why Is There an IRS Gift Tax? The gift tax was imposed to prevent taxpayers from giving away everything they own before they die to avoid paying estate tax. If you do go beyond the gift tax limit, then you could be taxed as high as 45%. So be careful with the amounts you are giving away. We suggest using an online tax preparation service such as TurboTax Online that will help you calculate the amount you have given away and if you owe any tax on those gifts. You can visit the web site of TurboTax and click on the support tab to gain access to their award winning library of tax information. Once you're on the support page, you can enter, IRS gift tax limit, and you will have answers to any questions you may have.

Why would they pay for it now? They could take their sweet time to pay it, like they seem to do with everything ... GOI, Budget etc. It makes more sense for them to pay after RV than now ...especially if the planes aren't being delivered tomorrow.

It would increase the amount of oil and natural gas reserves on which a country's currency could be based. The more oil and natural gas reserves Iraq has, the higher the value of their currency can be.

So Okie is now extending his "guesses" to weeks, instead of mere hours He must have got tired of all that ringing in his ears.

Nice post Spike ... like a breath of fresh air ... a nice change, for sure.

Don't tax the transactions ... tax (or anhilate) the institutions that put the world in this mess in the first place like The Fed, the Morgans, Rothschilds, etc.

News Flash Okie .... Your word has always been questionable - so don't start with the holier-than-though attitude now.

Here's a few noteworthy quotes about the Fed: The Rothschilds "The few who understand the system, will either be so interested from it's profits or so dependant on it's favors, that there will be no opposition from that class." — Rothschild Brothers of London, 1863 "Give me control of a nation's money and I care not who makes it's laws" — Mayer Amschel Bauer Rothschild Senators and Congressmen "Most Americans have no real understanding of the operation of the international money lenders. The accounts of the Federal Reserve System have never been audited. It operates outside the control of Congress and manipulates the credit of the United States" — Sen. Barry Goldwater (Rep. AR) "This [Federal Reserve Act] establishes the most gigantic trust on earth. When the President [Wilson} signs this bill, the invisible government of the monetary power will be legalized....the worst legislative crime of the ages is perpetrated by this banking and currency bill." — Charles A. Lindbergh, Sr. , 1913 "From now on, depressions will be scientifically created." — Congressman Charles A. Lindbergh Sr. , 1913 "The financial system has been turned over to the Federal Reserve Board. That Board as ministers the finance system by authority of a purely profiteering group. The system is Private, conducted for the sole purpose of obtaining the greatest possible profits from the use of other people's money" -- Charles A. Lindbergh Sr., 1923 "The Federal Reserve bank buys government bonds without one penny..." — Congressman Wright Patman, Congressional Record, Sept 30, 1941 "We have, in this country, one of the most corrupt institutions the world has ever known. I refer to the Federal Reserve Board. This evil institution has impoverished the people of the United States and has practically bankrupted our government. It has done this through the corrupt practices of the moneyed vultures who control it". — Congressman Louis T. McFadden in 1932 (Rep. Pa) "The Federal Reserve banks are one of the most corrupt institutions the world has ever seen. There is not a man within the sound of my voice who does not know that this nation is run by the International bankers — Congressman Louis T. McFadden (Rep. Pa) "Some people think the Federal Reserve Banks are the United States government's institutions. They are not government institutions. They are private credit monopolies which prey upon the people of the United States for the benefit of themselves and their foreign swindlers" — Congressional Record 12595-12603 — Louis T. McFadden, Chairman of the Committee on Banking and Currency (12 years) June 10, 1932 "I have never seen more Senators express discontent with their jobs....I think the major cause is that, deep down in our hearts, we have been accomplices in doing something terrible and unforgivable to our wonderful country. Deep down in our heart, we know that we have given our children a legacy of bankruptcy. We have defrauded our country to get ourselves elected." — John Danforth (R-Mo) "These 12 corporations together cover the whole country and monopolize and use for private gain every dollar of the public currency..." — Mr. Crozier of Cincinnati, before Senate Banking and Currency Committee - 1913 "The [Federal Reserve Act] as it stands seems to me to open the way to a vast inflation of the currency... I do not like to think that any law can be passed that will make it possible to submerge the gold standard in a flood of irredeemable paper currency." — Henry Cabot Lodge Sr., 1913
