Interesting article,thank you for bringing it to peoples attention. I wish more people would pay attention to this subject with the diligence you obviously have. More people need to know about Ron Paul one of the few politicians who really has a grasp of the big picture. I can't understand why the mainstream media constantly ignores him. Maybe one can when they realize that the fed really controls the mainstream media.

As a silver investor I just happened across this thread. I know there were questions asked in May and it is now Sept. but I thought I would reply to some peoples Questions even if I am a little dated. I have been buying from a Company called Colorado gold and they consistently have the lowest prices and there service has been excellent. They have worked with me to sell silver to my IRA and personal purchases. Delta 22, thanks for an interesting off topic(dinars) thread. Beneficial advice for all. I wonder what the cancer rate would be if we all followed these simple guidelines. I would have also added to stay away from fast foods or at least visit them sparingly.

Excellent advice. Stay away from paper transactions and keep precious metals in the form of physical holdings if at all possible.The paper market is being manipulated and when the economy goes south physical holdings will be the way to go.

You have raised many interesting points. All fiat currencies are destined to fail. Only when all currencies are on an equal playing field will they truly be equal. I believe a return to gold or precious metals standard is the only real way to measure a currencies worth. Until then we will continue to have a lodge poge of intrinsic values and uncontrolled debt.

I use Entrust as my administrator and have been very happy with them. I like the self directed IRA'S as you really have a lot of flexibility and so far any gains are tax free. I have put dinars in mine and there is a variety of other investments that can be made. Some are real estate, precious metals, currency and much more. Good luck. If you ran for a political office you would get my vote. I am afraid the people of the world would not take kindly to losing any entitlements. Without action as you suggested a train wreck is sure to follow. I believe it would be political suicide to even bring up any of your suggestions. Our system is broke and I don't see the politicians even trying to fix it. Until we have elected officials serve us again instead of trying to get on a gravy train for life nothing will ever be repaired. Example- Spend millions of dollars to get elected to a 100K job. To me that sums it up right there.

One option you can explore is opening a regular Roth IRA and you will pay no penalties if you do a straight transfer. You must remember that you need to be 59 1/2 to withdraw any funds with out penalties. Another option, which is the way I have gone, is to open a self directed Roth IRA which you can also do a straight transfer to. The difference with this type of IRA is that you have an administrator buy and sell for you. But the big advantage with this is you have a great deal of flexability with this type of setup. You can purchase precious metals, stocks, currencies, and much more. You should notice I mentioned currencies. Yes you may buy dinars through a self directed IRA. If it RVs say 1 to 1 and you put a million dinars you could sell your dinars through your administrator and you would have one million USD. This is not avoiding taxes! This is a program our government set up for us to save. I will willingly pay my taxes on the dinars I hold personally but I also will get a tax benefit on the dinars I hold through my self directed IRA. Some will say the government is going to tax IRAs will they- who knows. But right now it is legal way for you to invest and if your investments are sound all gains are TAX EXEMPT. By the way if you are interested in this there are a few companies out there. I have found The Entrust Corp. to be very good. Google Entrust, read about them, call one of their representatives and ask them whatever questions you have. This is not for everyone but it works great for some. I personally have been very happy with this investment option. The only caveat is one must be 59 1/2 to withdraw without penalties. I am past that age so it is no longer an issue for me.

I believe I read somewhere on this site that you can request that all posts by a certain person can be blocked for you. You may want to explore that option, if it is really available.

I agree with all people- pay your taxes. But the Government also offers legitimate legal ways for you to save your money. An easy way to do this would be to open a self directed Roth IRA. There are a # of companies that do this service. One highly respected one is Entrust. Google Entrust and the information will give you Entrusts home site, then you can call your nearest office to start a self directed Roth IRA. This procedure requires Entrust to purchase Dinars for you and hold them in a safe place for storage. I use First Street Depository. Then being the good citizen you are you will pay taxes on your personal dinar holdings and you will not have to pay taxes on the dinars you purchased with your Roth IRA as all gains with this self directed Roth IRA are tax free. You can even buy precious metals, real estate and many more options. You may put in 5 to 6 thousand a year depending upon your age. The one catch to this is you cannot withdraw any money from your Roth IRA without penalties until you reach the age of 591/2. After that all withdrawals are TAX FREE. In my case that is fine as I am past that age. Still it is a legal legitimate way to save on taxes.That is why our government set up Roth IRA"S.

This may help to clear up any confusion regarding stopping the sale of gold and silver........Many people have forwarded me the article posted on Zerohedge.com about a brokerage company named FOREX.com who is banning US citizens from trading in gold and silver starting July 15th. First of all the name of the company, FOREX.com, has scared many people as they believe that this relates to all FOREX, Gold and Silver transactions. FOREX.com is a fairly large online brokerage house and is not the FOREX market in general. They are ending their trading of electronic gold and silver for US residents do to their interpretation of the Dodd-Frank Law. My take...good riddance to ANY paper and electronic gold and silver trading! It is in the paper and electronic markets that the manipulation occurs. As has been addressed in the Road to Roota Letters...ALL PAPER AND ELECTRONIC MARKETS WILL BE DESTROYED. These guys over at FOREX.com are just trying to limit their liability in the coming gold and silver chaos.
