Iraqi List accuses NC led by Maliki of backtracking on Erbil agreement Posted: February 21, 2011 by THE CURRENCY NEWSHOUND - Just Hopin in Iraqi Dinar/Politics Monday, February 21st 2011 3:26 PM Baghdad, Feb. 21 (AKnews) – A spokesman for the Iraqiya list led by Ayad Allawi said on Monday that national partnership agreement signed by the political blocs in Erbil before the formation of the current government is being jeopardized by the autocracy of the National Coalition (NC) led by Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki. Shaker Kattab told AKnews that the current breakdown in communications between the leading political blocs stems from the NC’s disregard and abandonment of the principles of partnership rule agreed upon. In reference to the delays in the allocation of the Ministry of Defense that was included in al-Iraqiya’s package of sovereign posts according to the Erbil accord, Shaker said that no progress has been made despite the list’s efforts. “The al-Iraqiya list presented three candidates for the defense portfolio but hasn’t received yet an answer about them because of the lack of trust of the other party (the NC).” The Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki agreed to Ayad Allawi’s demand on February 13 to form several committees to re-evaluate the implementation of the Erbil agreement. In a speech delivered at the general conference of the National Accoed Movement in Baghdad on February 11, Allawi said that six agreements were signed by the political blocs in Erbil of which none had been implemented so far. In a bid to break the nine-month political deadlock that had frozen the Iraqi political process following the inconclusive general elections, Kurdistan’s President Massoud Barzani presented a national partnership initiative to the political blocs that was the forerunner to the meetings held between their leaders in early December last year. Included in the agreement signed by the political leaders in Erbil, Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki would retain his office for a second term, as would President Jalal Talabani, al-Iraqiya’s Osama Nujaifi would take the presidency of parliament and list leader Ayad Allawi would head the newly formed National Council for Strategic Policies. http://www.aknews.com/en/aknews/4/219864/ -

He said two investigative committees had been formed to track down the cash. The Development Fund for Iraq (DFI), which was set up after the 2003 war to handle oil and other revenues, has been protected against claims by a UN resolution that expires on June 30. As of 7:56 am PST, I have been unable to locate any additional news regarding this. Anybody else find anything? Perhaps I am suspicious of the validity of the news because it is so outrageous. It is unbelievable. Maybe I should have invested in an asphalt company in Iraq, because if this is true, we will have one big parking lot on our hands.

Great question Umbertino.

The progress towards membership in the WTO is not just economic. Read what the article stated: Member of Economic Committee in the House of Representatives of the former Iraqi are urgent Almkotr confirmed that Iraq still needs more economic stability before joining the World Trade Organization, pointing out that Iraq lacks the legislative environment is also necessary for joining the organization. This coin has two sides that need to be polished. The world is watching this abysmal parliament's incompetancy and corruption. The progress in Iraq to move into a world trade environment is hindered by Maliki and Iran. I believe Iran is pulling Maliki's strings in order to stall all democracy and progress in order to achieve failure of the state and of the US. This is where the real instability comes from, IMHO.

I am with Mr. Rich. What an arrogant pr**k. Although, a picture kept appearing in my head as I was reading the post. It was a man...a handsome man...a man with a turban... I think, I think, yes, his name is Karnak. A friend sits beside him as he holds an envelope to his head. What is the answer Karnak is seeing: this is the same as the diatribe I have presented here. Karnak opens the envelope and reads the question "what is that in your load in your pants?" Ah, no. It was just Johnny and Ed. But they were not arrogant pr**ks.

PALIN IS SO SMART. OMG. After all, she had Bristol Google information on the US economy two days ago so that she would have something to say about at a conference. Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin reportedly tasked her oldest daughter, Bristol, with taking to Google to mine a little data on the economy in preparation for her appearance Thursday in Long Island, New York. The Los Angeles Times reports: Palin was accompanied by her daughter, Bristol, whom she described as her "entourage." She said she had asked Bristol, in their hotel room Wednesday night, to Google information about the economy in preparation for the appearance in a country club ballroom. HERE IS YOUR ALASKA FACTS IN PRINT: Truth in Accounting issues Alaska “Financial State of the State” CONTACT: Nancy Mathieson, 847-226-8589 NancyMath1@aol.com TRUE ALASKA TAXPAYER BURDEN IS $555 Million Alaska’s “Financial State of the State” Chicago, (February 7, 2011) — Today, the Institute for Truth in Accounting released Alaska’s “Financial State of the State.” After an intensive review of the State’s 2010 audited financial report the Institute determined the State is in a precarious financial position because it does not have the funds available to pay $555 million of the State’s commitments as they come due. Each taxpayer’s share of this financial burden equals $1,900. Alaska state law requires a balanced budget. “If governors and legislatures had truly balanced the state’s budget, no taxpayer’s financial burden would exist,” said Sheila Weinberg, founder and CEO of the Institute for Truth in Accounting (IFTA). She continued, “A state budget is not balanced if past costs, including those for employees’ retirement benefits, are pushed into the future.” While Alaska reported total assets of $73.9 billion, the Institute’s review of the state’s 2010 financial report revealed that there are more than $17.9 billion of off-balance sheet retirement liabilities. More than $44.5 billion of the State’s assets cannot be easily converted to cash to pay State bills of only $29.9 billion as they come due. These assets consist of capital assets, including infrastructure, buildings and land, and assets the use of which is restricted by law or contract. The State does not have the funds needed to pay for $555 million of state obligations. SO MUCH FOR YOUR SPIN ZONE ... -

Obama created more jobs in his first 18 months than George Bush created in 8 years. FACT! If anyone really read and understood the healthcare bill, you would know that this bill will cut healthcare costs and our debt. As far at the IRS agents, 16,000 was another lie spread by Fox News. Sales tax on real estate. Okay. You got one. BUT TAXES HAVE BEEN LOWERED FOR 95% OF TAXPAYERS. THE FEDERAL TAX RATE IS LOWER THAN IT HAS BEEN, IN I BELIEVE, 5 OR 6 DECADES. Boehner just stated that Obama hired 200,000 new federal employees. Another lie. The % of federal employees to citizens is far lower than it was under Bush. Boehner included the temporary census workers when he spoke to the nation. A misrepresentation at least. You stated "Just M.O.", but you posted your opinions as facts, and they are not. I am not posting an opinion, these are facts. Anybody want to discuss it, fine, let me know. -
Nitro, if you put your enthusiasm and a tiny mistake into perspective with what is going on in the world, it really is not a problem. We are all human. Take care. Carrello

Hey BanG, I appreciate your passion and sense of urgency. I absolutely do. But the currency issues, I believe, you are misrepresenting. Businesses are printing chits that are purchased to encourage local spending. You purchase $100 of chits for $95, or whatever. You must spend that chit in your own community. I think it is a good idea. You could use a chit at Ace Hardware rather than purchasing from the Home Depot behemoth. Local coffee houses would benefit rather than Starbucks. A local market or outdoor market could benefit rather than Ralphs. I am very concerned about the US economic situation. I wanted to buy a house after the RV, but I am not going to do it. I think the dollar is in for a deep dip and I will rent for now. Let somebody else loose the money (I hate that I said that....), but I do not think that property is the way to go. Anybody that has any advice on investment, I am all ears. I can only see precious metals, other than gold, for investment at the moment. And I am not too sure about putting my money offshore either. I think the IRS will get tricky with that scenario because we will be do desperate. Well, enough of my thoughts ... I hear what you are saying BanG, but we have to be honest and knowledgeable in what information we present to others. Take care. -

Hey Roc, I love your menu. I am sure your Sarah Palin up-side down cake had plenty of nuts but was absolutely never made with a recipe. And we would have to have George's pretzels and Cheney's dead ducks. I say we take your menu, get a few like-minded DV members (no one that doesn't like Mud Pie) to buy an island somewhere far, far away, and live out our lives in bliss. Sounds really, really good about now. See you friend! I hope you got my sarcasm in my post....you get a +1 from me. -
Assessment of Iraqs Monetary Policy

Wings, for the life of me I cannot figure out why anyone gave you a -1. Maybe I will get a -1 for reading the post. Oh, well.... Anyway, after reading page 3 of said report, I am assuming these are the two important paragraphs. Excuse me, but this international monetary system is new to me and I am struggling along to learn. Is the collapse the issue here you wanted to stress with regards to a high RV, or did I miss something? Thanks for more educational material. 1. Creating a market for foreign exchange comparable to the rest of the world economies, with a clear law that protects those who work within it. The Central Bank is to supervise and monitor this market, and intervene indirectly when correcting any disruption in the Iraqi exchange rate. Thus, the Central Bank may contain a large part of the foreign exchange market within the official exchange market, ensuring its ability to control exchange and the stability of the exchange system, and increasing confidence in its foreign exchange dealings. 2. It is necessary to seriously consider adopting an exchange rate system, to ensure the effective management of a real and stable exchange rate (as the general economic and monetary policies in Iraq neglected the real exchange rate of the Iraqi Dinar, regrettably, it rose to four times that of the exchange rate in 2003; the international competitiveness of the Iraqi economy consequently collapsed, thereby destroying investmenopportunities). It is also necessary to detach the Iraqi Dinar from Dollar, in order to protect the value of the Dinar from fluctuating international exchange rates, and to make the exchange rate of tIDinar commensurate with the reality of Iraqi balance of paymen -
You can go back to Coasttocoastam.com and listen to the segment. This is the synopsis: Middle East Unrest During the first hour, investigative reporter Greg Hunter talked about how the tumultuous events in the Middle East relate to the US economic crisis. He likened the upheaval in the Egypt and surrounding countries to the fall of the Berlin Wall, but contended that, now, the proverbial wall is the United States dollar's status as the world's reserve currency. Hunter explained that the mass printing of money in the US has created inflation around the world, which fueled the unrest in the Middle East. Ominously, he warned that "pretty significant inflation" will "boomerang" back towards the US in the not too distant future. Hunter also discussed the ongoing debate in Wisconsin over unions and detailed how the situation there is symptomatic of financial problems facing many other American states.

You need research a subject prior to projecting an accusation such as you have against someone in business, or anyone else for that matter. For you to propose this scenario is slanderous. Why did you not just ask if some of the DV members could share their experience or their understanding of DT? If you had read anything about Dinar Trade on this site or others, or seen him on national television (videos available in many place) you would know that DT is trusted. Have you bought anything from DT? This is a very offensive and unwarranted scenario you are trying to paint. I would be more concerned with Bank of America than I would DT. I mean that seriously. I hear knocking...you better answer the door.....it's the Boogie Man coming for you!

This article or a similar one was posted a few days ago. It is unbelievable. I have forgotten the soldier's name, but his comment was we will pay you the billion dollars, but I want my arm back.....For me that about summed it up. *&^% them.
