    I have been waiting for the right time to post this one Tiff. My Catholic friend sent it to me biggrin.gif

    A new priest at his first mass was so nervous he could hardly speak. After the mass he asked the monsignor how he had done. The monsignor replied, “When I am worried about getting nervous on the pulpit, I put a glass of vodka next to the water glass. If I start to get nervous, I take a sip.” So next Sunday he took the monsignor’s advice. At the beginning of the sermon, he got nervous and took a drink. He proceeded to talk up a storm. Upon his return to his office after mass, he found the following note on his door:

    • Sip the Vodka, don’t gulp.
    • There are 10 commandments, not 12.
    • There are 12 disciples, not 10.
    • Jesus was consecrated, not constipated.
    • Jacob wagered his donkey, he did not bet on his ass.
    • We do not refer to Jesus Christ as the late J.C.
    • The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are not referred to as Daddy, Junior, and the Spook.
    • David slew Goliath, he did not kick the sh*t out of him.
    • When David was hit by a rock and knocked off his donkey, don’t say he was stoned off his ass.
    • We do not refer to the cross as the “Big T.”
    • When Jesus broke the bread at the Last Supper he said, “Take this and eat it for it is my body.” He did not say, “Eat me.”
    • The Virgin Mary is not called “Mary with the Cherry.”
    • The recommended grace before a meal is not: “Rub-A-Dub-Dub, thanks for the grub, yeah God.”
    • Next Sunday there will be a taffy pulling contest at St.Peter’s, not a peter pulling contest at St. Taffy’s.

    I was gonna cut obamacare while they where freaking out about the other stuff... you know sneak one in on them like they do us all the time... and as far as the entitlement plans go we got a couple years till the run out so lets pay off the debt of 14 trillion and once we get back in the black we would discuss entitlement reform biggrin.gif

    Dang, if I didn't have bad credit I could run for office... wait sorry they don't want people in there that would actually do stuff... they want talkers not doers... sorry guyssad.gif

    Its true im no pumper my friends brothers daughters 6 month old baby told me she heard it from a legite source... But i also heard all across the midwest acounts are frozen

    I do greatly apologize to Spock... I didn't mean to refer to him as a liberal he is not... I don't think he is anything... can he even vote any place off of the enterprise? again Spock if you are reading I am so sorry and please except my deepest apologies... wait who is standing behind me.... ouch... don't ... not the death gri..........

    I am a 100% disabled Viet Nam Vet, I use the VA hospital here in Detroit (I also have BC/BS) and have found the personnel at this VA to be helpful, friendly and competent. I have never gone to the VA , and been met with anythng other courtesy and a helpful attitude. Im sure they would appreciate your reference to them as being ineffective

    I have taken my dad who is a cancer survivor from Agent Orange and had his back broken while he was fighting for this country I love he had 100% disability... He fills out the surveys every time he goes and has never been "Satisfied" except for once, in the only place he was ever treated as more than a # in a book was in Oregon where he had his cancer surgery done... then the VA cut him from being 100% to 30% and told him to get back to work after being off for 5 years not to mention all of the side effects of the surgery and all of the appointments my dad has a hard time sweeping floors at home let alone being a janitor at Wal-Mart which is a job he just had to quit because he can hardly move in the morning... I am sure there are good VA's out there but I have only found one and I have been to 12 of them with my dad and his problems and I found 1 not a good record from my stand point... I stand by my first statement

    I have a great way of cutting 14 trillion in a few years.... First Bring all of the troops back to US soil... Second, Quit sending Billions and Billions of dollars in "Aid" to countries that don't give a crap about us and openly mock our way of life... Third, Stop with all the "Bail Outs" if something is going to fail let it fail this America stuff happens and we pick ourselves right back up and move on, Forth, cut taxes on the businesses, I mean small and large the little people are just trying to start up and if the big ones can get less taxes and cut through less red tape some place else they will move... Fifth and final, DRILL HERE AND DRILL NOW, that one is pretty self explanatory. Using these five simple steps in a few years we will be back in the Green biggrin.gif

    GREEN AZ, I,m with you i, have been in this thing since 04, and for this site to call me a newbie... well its just an insult,any way I am soo ready for this ride to be over, i.m well invested and I'm in it for as long as it takes I just don't like the bashing that come with all these sites. like every body else I need something to hope for sooo.... Feb 21 is good enough for me !!! let the powers move who ever is in charge, It,s time !!

    For all the Newbies out there GUESS WHAT we all where there once the rating above your name has to do with the activity of your account... don't be all offended and poopie faced because you can't have the title of Captain Amazing or Super GURU above your name when you have 5 posts.... come on... don't let your little feelers get hurt

    Question for Senior members,Junior members,or who ever, If you were a "Newbie" now, how long would it take you to post?

    Considering what I know now I would get a VIP right off the bat and not worry about it... I would not "Post" till I had exhausted all of my efforts in finding answers to my questions... and if I could not find an answer I would probably ask one of the mods in a PM or righting on their wall... they are real good about answering those...

    And since I just got bashed on yesterday by a negative newbie I still stand firm on my aforementioned statement of it being on a rating system as apposed to a standard date or time... I love everyone but their is always one in the crowd that farts and makes everyone stinkbiggrin.gif

    DD: One tidbit before I have to run tonight… no time for live Q&A… sorry… It came to me from someone I trust that the lower denominations may have officially been introduced yesterday. He saw and held them with his own hands. They are real and do exist. We need to just allow the news to do what it’s going to do… take us for a ride that will have our heads spinning… I certainly hope this incredible piece of information is legitimate, and that we’re on to something. This didn’t come through anyone other than the source to me, so I know he’s telling me the truth.

    IMHO,

    I'm going to send you off to a land that you probably never even thought about, let you get shot at for no less than half a year, work anywhere from 8 - 18 hours a day for the entire time, maybe give you a day off every now and again but you'll get two weeks MANDATORY leave, move you through the mess hall like it was a processing plant with the off chance that Friday will be 'surf and turf', and by the way, the life that you knew vefore you left has more than likely changed in more ways than one... So let's talk about that paycheck, shall we... I think not!!! The powers that be give the military their orders so if anyone is going to take a pay cut, let's start at the top! It's called leading by example, right? What, that Ivy League college fund just too much to bear? How about those nice foreign luxury/sports cars that are running up and down the highway? I'm pretty sure that fillet mingon doesn't have to be on the menu EVERY freaking week? Meanwhile, some young adult is opening their second or third MRE for the day and wearing the same clothes for the past week. Military pay cuts, I think our priorities are a bit jaded... IMHO...

    and to Deathmonkey... I talked to my S1 and they said he would look into it and he had noticed on his LES the same too...

    on the Tax Bracket thing... HA... I am so far away from a new tax bracket having a wife and 2 boys... we just did our taxes and I made after all of the bah and base pay just over 26,000 I made more being a cop in small town america before taking this job...

    Come on RV daddy needs a new truck LOLbiggrin.gif

    Wasn't BAH it was Base Pay... and I am not one of those soldiers who get in trouble so I know it wasn't that... I checked with some of my buddies who are single and they had the same thing in their base pay go down... strange they sign a pay raise then take some back... I seen where they raised the pay but never seen it in my LES and this is the second month in a row I have checked for this...
