This makes total sense, especially with the articles that are coming out. Sure they want to delete the zero's, and can do that by phasing out the larger ones, which is why I think they are saying the two currency's will run concurrent. They will simply introduce the new bills, and take the old ones in over time. Very simple, and won't cause a big stir with the Iraqi's, who most, probably don't have a lot of big bills by now, and have been working with the USD. After reading this article, I am even more optimistic, and I am already a glass half full person. This article was excellent, and thank you for your posting it!! Go RV!!!

Then add to the fact, that is a Kurd that would be in charge, and it should take care of the problem. I like the Kurds in charge anyway. The Kurds seem to have things together! Tell me it ain't so! The CBI, has always been straight forward and honest about the RV/RI/RD/Deletion of Zero's/rate/time frame!! I have never seen any conflicting articles at all, about what their intentions are! I know that they will let us know exactly when the new denom's are available, and they have all the banks online, with atm's up and running! Keep is a great guy. I know that some think that he is the ultimate lopster, but if you look at his posts, most of the time he is only bringing up the opposite of the other person, to at least give people the other side to look at. He is a very smart guy, and I always appreciate reading his point of view! Like Keep, and others have said in the past, including Adam, this could very well end up with a loss, but we all signed up for the long haul, so we are all hoping for golden goose!!! I find Keep very entertaining, and once he has a fish on, it is fun to watch the debate, but most who know Keep, understand which side of the issue he is really on. JMHO, but this could just be a political move by the List. If Maliki doesn't accept their guys this time, they might have an excuse to delay or cancel the national meeting. I think they are trying to force Maliki to accept someone, which unless he is truly trying to get this done, he will probably reject them all, and then it will get interesting. I hope this gets done, but looking at past history, Maliki doesn't seem to work under their pressure. Time will tell. Go RV!!!

Thank you for the post. I am afraid that this will become the monkey wrench to delay the meeting! Unless Maliki is really ready to just get this done, and accepts one of the Lists guys, which is very unlikely, the meeting may never happen. It appears they want to see if Maliki is serious about this, and I think this is a political move to decide if the List will attend the meeting, or if it will go back to chaos again. Fines are a great way to change bad behavior, but if they are going to fine them, fine them enough, that it hurts. A little fine, is not going to do it. Yesterday, they said that they would fine them 400,000. Okay, sounds good on paper, but I would tend to believe that they don't mind paying $350. Probably not a big thing to them. Now, if they put a 5,000,000 fine on them, that might change their behavior. JMHO Go RV!!
