  1. That woman has zero credibility. She went on every national tv show and lied her ass off about Benghazi. As a matter of fact she should be heavily investigated for her role in the Obama WH. I would love to see who’s payroll she was on, Muslim Brohood!!!
  2. That’s the sales pitch. I’m not sure if it’s true but the risk/reward was worth it to me to give it a try. ( 10 mil worth plus Dongs and Yuan) Deep down my brain is telling me it’s a con to get the American people to front the war and to help pay for the rebuilding of Iraq. Part of me believes it was an insurance policy for the American people if the bank bailouts of 2009 to 2013 didn’t work. ( most Americans have no idea how close we were to losing the banking system in 08). Im a doubting Thomas in general, but I’m not adverse to an occasional gamble. Ok, here is my true story and why I added to my stash in 2010.( in 2010 I owned 500k). I know some very influential people, one in particular who was hi up in one of the past 3 administrations ( won’t say which one). We are always discussing investments since I am a stock market trader. One day in 2010 I told him I was buying a basket of currencies along with gold and silver as a hedge against whatever might happen as a result of the 2008 melt down. He got an animated facial expression, and asked which currencies I was buying and how much. I thought it was a little weird because he never asked me how much of any investment I owned before. His animated expression also threw me off, because this guy is very a serious poker face kind of fellow. When I told him what I was buying and how much he said, buy more and hold onto it. Of course I asked which currency? He said, I can’t say another word, just do it, you won’t be disappointed. My friend died in 2013 and even though I asked him several more times which currency, he would just smile at me and never would say which one. So I buy VN, China, and Iraq, currency when I do good with my trades. To me it’s like cost averaging in a stock over many years. I know this sounds like BS to some of you but it’s true and it’s why I’m interested in any info I can gather from this site. I’ve been hesitant to share this story because there are so many dumb rumors but that’s my true story and I’m sticking to it. I believe Iraq still has some work to do but the recent news is very encouraging.
  3. I’m not staying up till 2 am like we did 10 years ago. When it happens, if it happens, I’ll know soon enough.
  4. Interesting.... Thank you for sharing Handy.
  5. The Ministry of Finance signed Wednesday a contract with an Irish company to modernize public financial management systems with a four-year implementation period. The ministry said in a statement that it had signed a contract with the Irish consulting firm (AARC) to implement the modernization of public financial management systems, noting that “funding is from the World Bank loan”. “Under this contract, documents will be prepared for the launching of the international tender for the implementation of the IFMIS project and the capacity building of the Ministry of Finance to manage and implement this phase of the project,” the ministry said. 7. I remember the 1.49 rate that flashed for awhile. I too was a new investor of the Dinar and thought, finally, it happened. Haha, so naive. Seven years later I won’t get to fired up until the money is in my bank account.

  10. I leave mine wide open. If they want to spy on me they will go BLIND!!!!!
  11. Umbertino, is the guardian the only rag you read. I believe most of us get that the guardian doesn't support our President. If we want to read the extreme Liberal view of the world we can go to their webpage and read it ourselves. Love your music posts but don't need the constant Liberal slant on what's going on in the world. Ya, I'm cranky tonight. Tough day in the markets.
  12. Neo Nazi's are worthless but so are AntiFA, BLM, and Black Panthers. Funny how there is no reporting on those last 3. Bigots, racists, anarchists come in all colors but somehow our illustrious media doesn't see it that way.
  13. Move that decimal over 2 and we have a nice .17 move it over 3 and we have 1.70 I know it will not be but it's fun to think about it right.. .17 would work out pretty good for me.
  14. It was a joke but I'm sure they spy on us through our cell phones, computers, TV's and any other electric device. It's like the book 1984. Most of the Tech elite cover their cameras on their pads and computers. Wonder what they know??
  15. Well google and I broke up when I found out google home was spying on me. I guess I get to wait another 10 years. Thanks for the well wishes. I need them after my day in the market. I can trade up or down but sideways in this volatile market is pretty tough. Sat at my desk all morning for 250.00. Ouchie. We’ll try again tomorrow. Hope you have a great rest of your week too!!!
  16. 2 cigs and 2 shots of tequila and I don’t drink or smoke!!!

  18. A Jordanian newspaper reported on Tuesday that Jordanian trucks were waiting for the green light to enter Iraq, while stressing that the volume of trade between the two countries was still “modest”. “Jordanian trucks loaded with various types of goods unload their cargo on the Jordanian-Iraqi border daily,” the Jordanian Jordan Times reported. “Jordanian trucks unload their cargo, which is then loaded into Iraqi trucks,” said the head of the association, Mohammed Daoud. “The volume of trade is still modest.” Before the Iraqi border with Jordan was shut down in 2014 after much of the West’s control over Iraq, some 600 trucks were used to enter Iraq daily, Daoud said. Following the reopening of the Tarbil border crossing between Jordan and Iraq in late 2017, Jordanian exports resumed. “Although there are about 80 trucks carrying goods to the Iraqi border every day now, we are still not satisfied,” he said, adding that “trucks going to the border crossing are carrying vegetables, steel, wood, industrial products and other goods.” “Jordanian trucks in Iraq are expected to be allowed to reach their destinations in neighboring countries in the next few weeks, which will increase the number of trucks operating on the commercial route,” he said. A truck driver and a resident of Mafraq, Abdullah Isser, said he hoped “Jordanian trucks would be allowed to enter the eastern neighbor as soon as possible.” He said it was “futile to unload our cargo on the border.” “The Iraqi road was one of the busiest roads for Jordanian trucks, and the work was very good in the past before it was called,” he said. “We have suffered a lot over the past years and we hope to compensate for the losses in the near future.” Last year, Iraq awarded a contract with a security firm to secure the road linking Baghdad with Berybil, which was seen as a major step to restart trade.
  19. A spokesman for the Ministry of Planning Abdul-Zahra al-Hindawi said on Tuesday that the tax sector represents one of the important sources of funding for the general budget, pointing out that the government is moving towards activating this sector and turning it into a productive sector of the national economy. He said that the deductions that were obtained from the salaries of state employees, amounting to 3.8%, fill part of the deficit that affects the public budget and that the cancellation of this deduction will form a vacuum seeking taxes to fill it. Hindawi was unable to determine the resources to be provided by taxes due to the failure to “apply tax systems accurately to all the output of the economy in the country,” as he put it. He called for the need to combat corruption and tax evasion by any means, because the control of tax revenues will provide the general budget with different resources.
  20. Iranian Minister of Trade and Industry Mohammad Shariatmadari arrived in Baghdad on Monday as part of an official invitation from Iraqi Minister of Planning Salman Al-Jumaili. His visit comes as part of the continuous movement between the two sides in various fields, especially commercial and industrial. “The Iraqi Minister of Planning Salman Al-Jumaili received today at the headquarters of the Iraqi Ministry of Planning, Minister of Trade and Industry Shariatmadari, noting that the latter’s visit aims to activate memorandums of understanding and agreements reached in previous times, as well as discuss opportunities to increase the volume of exchanges Trade for the benefit and benefit to both sides. ” “The volume of annual trade between Iraq and Iran is close to 13 billion dollars, while the Iranian Trade Attaché in Baghdad, Nasser Bahzad, recently said that Iran exported 12 million tons of non-oil goods worth 5.5 billion dollars, in eleven months, and what constitutes 18 percent of Iran’s total exports to the world. ” The Iranian trade channel in Iraq pointed out that the volume of inter-trade exchange during 2017 witnessed the highest rise since 2003, amounting to 13 billion dollars, while Iran’s exports to Iraq doubled 17 times during the last decade.
  21. Good one Bohica!! I would also like to see our politicians get behind President Trump and get these trade agreements worked out. Europe, China, South Korea, Japan, Mexico and many others have been screwing us for years. They have been putting duties, taxes, tariffs and whatever else you want to call it on American products for over 25 years. NAFTA, is a crime against American jobs and Canada and Mexico can squawk all they want, the gravy train is over. Free and FAIR trade from now on!!! Why are the dems and the media so against helping Americans compete on a fair playing field. Simple, they could care less about America!!!
