  1. This has been changing the last hour or so, not significantly but it is changing I don’t normally see this on XE.com XE Currency Converter: USD to IQD Read important information about the IQD. 1 USD =1,183.75IQD
  2. On opening day I always watch my favorite baseball movies. Major League Field of Dreams The Natural
  3. Yes indeed, especially for the Iraqi people who desperately need peace!!!!
  4. Changed my avatar, what you think! I’m an old pitcher so went with Rick Vaughan from the movie Major League. Maybe I change pictures to other pitchers down the road.
  5. I’m not seeing any changes on XE but agree something might be up
  6. I’m happy the bomber is gone. Hopefully he didn’t leave any surprises or inspire copy catters. I talked to all my family and they are very relieved but still very diligent. Very scary ordeal which could probably happen in any major US city.
  7. Yes he did use low class vocabulary in his campaign but he was appealing to the deplorable and the low IQ voters, right. Either Biden thinks he can appeal to Trumps base with that same style or maybe just maybe his base of liberals are just as deplorable and low IQ as Trumps base. Haha. I thought liberals/-progressives were intellectual, tolerant, non violent, inclusive and just above this type of BS campaigning. Mmmmm, I guess they are NOT!!! To me all politicians are liars, hypocrites, and worthless.
  8. I got into this investment over 10 years ago on the request of my wife who said all her fellow workers were buying some Iraq Dinar. I told her it would be like flushing good money down the drain but I acquiesced and bought her 100k. She was happy and so was I that I didn’t have to buy more. Being the curious soul that I am I started reading and asking around about the Iraq Dinar. I thought, what the hell, and bought 3 million. No biggie right, maybe we get lucky. I still thought it was a bogus deal. Years went by and I would buy 1 million every year. No big deal, it was only 900.00 bucks or so. So now I own a good chunk of Dinar and I still think I may be someone’s foil but BUT, I am more optimistic about this investment than any other time over the last 10 years. If you read all the posts that Yota has posted and a few that I have posted you can easily read between the lines. Iraq is open for business and it seems everyone is queuing up to get a chuck of the Iraq rebuild. Those countries and major international companies are not lining up to do business with the understanding that Iraq’s money is going to be worthless forever. There is no doubt in my mind they will go international before too long. Now what we get for our patience is another story. Best scenario is an RV rate at 1-1 or higher. If that’s the case I’m cashing in and I’m done with Iraq. If it comes in at .10 or it’s a float, I will wait. I’ve waited 10 years what’s another few. I hope you all have a plan ready in any event. Now’s the time to get all your ducks in a row. I’m ready how about you?? I’m moving to Maui in 2 years no matter what this investment does. I’ll get to live on the beach or very near or a condo if it doesn’t come to fruition. Good luck and the best to you all on this board. As a group you all are very informative and very entertaining. Even my jail time was rather amusing!!!

  10. Ahead of their White House talks on Tuesday, March 20, President Donald Trump and the Saudi Crown Prince agreed on a new Supreme Committee to coordinate military and diplomatic efforts for curbing Iranian expansion, according to a report published by Debka. The United Arab Emirate is the third member. This committee, to focus on coordinated operations, will consist of the three governments’ national security advisers. For final decisions, they will call in President Trump, Saudi Crown Prince Muhammed bin Salman (MbS) and the UAE Emir Sheikh Muhammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (MbZ). White House sources reported that the new group would be ceremonially launched in Washington this week. The Emirates national security adviser Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan will come over to join the event. The emir himself is expected in Washington soon. US and Saudi officials confirmed Tuesday that the new Supreme Committee’s mission would be to execute the goal shared by the three governments, namely, to stall Iran’s expansionist designs across the oil-rich Gulf and the Middle East. DEBKAfile’s sources report that this move is consistent with the decision which President Trump was widely believed to have reached for taking the United States out of the 2015 nuclear with Iran. Intensive discussions are taking place in the White house on timing; whether Trump should make the announcement when the next deadline for re-certificating the accord comes up in mid-May or jump the gun in March or early April. The US, the Saudis and the UAE are meanwhile checking to make sure that their military assets are in sync and ready for potential repercussions. The new Supreme Committee will fill the cohesion void left in the Gulf Cooperation Council by the refusal of two of its members, Qatar and Oman, to go along with the tough policies pursued by Saudi Arabia and the UAE since MbS took over the reins of government in Riyadh three years ago. http://www.iraqnow.news/articles/10354

The oil ministry said in a press statement that Oil Minister Jabbar al-Luaibi met with the director of the Korean Kokaz company Yonsing Kim and his delegation and discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation to develop the gas sector in Iraq. “The minister listened to the steps taken by the company and the arrangements it made to resume work in the Akkas field.” “The ministry is keen to create the right environment for work,” the minister was quoted as saying. For his part, the director of the Korean company Kokaz “Yonsing Kim” on the desire of the company to resume work and develop the gas sector in Iraq. 12. Iran is aiming to link Iran’s rail network with Iraq, the director of the railway project in western Iran said, noting that his country broke the record for the railway in six months. “The project starts from the city of Malair to Kermanshah with a length of 175 kilometers, and the foundation stone has been laid for the project since 2002,” said project director Noureddine Kandmi on the sidelines of the opening of the railway between Kermanshah and Tehran. “The project was delayed because of the embargo and financial problems.” “During the past year and following the assistant minister of roads, and within 6 months we broke the record in the country in the extension of railways, in past years the record in Iran was 1700 meters per day, and this year we managed to record a record of nearly 2000 meters in Today”. “The project is of strategic importance in that it would link the Iranian and Iraqi railways at the border,” he said. Iraq seeks to modernize its railway and link it to neighboring countries to be a transit area from Asia to Europe. http://en.economiciraq.com/2018/03/21/iran-aspires-to-link-its-railway-with-iraq/
  13. Nice rhetoric from our former VP. Very classy and so non violent. What happened to being tolerant, and respectful. Oh ya that only applies if your party is in power. I hope he runs against Trump in 2020, he will get trounced by Trump. Former Vice President Joe Biden took fresh jabs at President Donald Trump on Tuesday while speaking at an anti-sexual assault rally, telling students at the University of Miami that he probably would have "beat the hell out" of Trump if they'd attended school together. http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/biden-beat-hell-trump-high-school-disrespecting-women/story?id=53897309
  14. Speaking with CNBC Wednesday in Hong Kong, former White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus said the Donald Trump administration's tough trade talk is not populism or nationalism — it's "Trumpism." Priebus told CNBC that the president has been a long-term opponent of trade imbalances, but he allowed that tariff threats from the White House may be both a sincere policy to tackle American trade deficits and a negotiating tactic. "I think it's the type of thing the president wants to do: Put people on their heels, and say 'I'm going to tackle this trade imbalance once and for all,'" Priebus said. "It's something he's talked about since 1980, so it's not like this is a new policy: Everyone likes to talk about populism and nationalism — this is Trumpism." "His default position is what you're seeing right now," Priebus said of the U.S. president. According to the former chief of staff, Trump likes to begin negotiations with a hard-line position and then pull back from that tough stance incrementally. He cited how Trump at first proposed tariffs that applied to aluminum and steel imports across the board, but subsequently took Mexico and Canada "off the table." Asked specifically about China, Priebus cited how the world's second biggest economy sometimes requires importers to transfer proprietary technology to Chinese control — so-called technology transfers. China has weak intellectual property protections, he added. The bigger problem, Priebus indicated, is how the United States doesn't impose big import duties on products such as cars, but U.S. manufacturers must pay tariffs sometimes amounting to "25 percent, 50 percent" to other countries. Priebus did not name those countries. Other times, he continued, U.S.-made products have to be shipped overseas in components and then reassembled so that U.S. manufacturers can get around tariffs. Throughout the interview with CNBC, the former chief of staff had emphatic compliments for his old boss, saying the president "is a force in and of himself, which the Republican Party has benefited from." Trump announced over Twitter that he had replaced Priebus with John Kelly, a retired four-star Marine general who had been serving as Homeland Security secretary, in July of last year. Prior to that move, Priebus had become a target of Trump's ire — the president reportedly gave him various deadlines to get a tumultuous White House in order. Priebus had led the Republican National Committee before coming to the White House — a job he'd held since 2011. https://www.cnbc.com/2018/03/20/reince-priebus-trump-tough-trade-talk-is-not-populism-nationalism.html

  16. I’ll give It a try. We we were going to take the Dinar international in 2016 but we were all on vacation when the memo came in from the IMF. In 2017 we just couldn’t get our stuff together and besides we like reading the rumors forum at Dinar Vets. It’s great entertainment so we decided to make everyone wait till 2035. So keep posting and making us laugh you silly Americans.
  17. Pure evil and have been saying prayers for Austin since the first bombing. I’m a UT grad, and still have many friends and family in Austin. I hope they catch that murderer soon!!
  18. It’s not just racism, it’s contempt, arrogance, and a total lack of understanding of what the Obama administration did to this country. And, that’s why the flyover deplorables voted for anything but Dem.
  19. Harvey was horrible. I hope your House didn’t flood. I have a good friend whose house has flooded twice in the last 3 years. He lives off Braeswood. You a Rice U baseball fan? I had a lot of my players go there to pursue their ball careers and get a great education. Till the Astros started winning I actually enjoyed going there more than Minute Maid.
  20. Sometimes it’s just fun to get fired up. I remember in 2009 or 2010, can’t remember now, but I saw 1.49 on XE for about 30 minutes. That one got me pretty fired up. You remember the mars newspaper stories were supposed to be a secret code that the RV was imminent, haha. Ya, I’ve seen and read it all for over 10 years.
  21. Grew up in Bellaire. Getting fired up for some Astro baseball!!! I got an opportunity to coach Andy Pettitte’s son. Great kid, great family!
