  1. The dude is a fraud. I have to ask, do you need your ego stroked so bad that you need to stoop to plagiarism?
  2. PTR = Pompous Thieves and Rumormongers .... 'Nuff said
  3. Why, for the love of all things sacred do the lopsters get high centered on the lop? I get the point that anything is possible, but when I do a "Ben Franklin" the lop looses hands down.
  4. Yup Skybear, I feel for you, sometimes ya just gotta blow some steam. I found the ride is best shared with a friend, like John, Johnny, Jack or Jim........
  5. "And while its possible the foreign Ambassador's son does not speak his native language all that well.... I'm still gonna have ot go with him on this one...." Hey Rayzur, thanks for the translation. You know it's funny, you actually have a contact that the goo-roos only have wet dreams about.....
  6. Hoo Hoo! The bottom feeders are cannibalizing each other.... pass the popcorn and the red hots!
  7. Don't now why you were negged, +1'ed ya..... Go Big Red!....... Go RV!
  8. Sad to say, they'll never stop. They're like a wart, they're ugly, bothersome and always pop up at the wrong time. They'll only stop after the RV.... come to think of it, these bottom feeders will then change tactics and prey on their simple minded followers to get their windfall. The best thing you can do to keep your peace is just ignore them.
  9. A few questions utvolfan: I get that you are hell-bent for lop. So how do you explain the debt relief afforded to Iraq by the Paris Club and 22 other countries outside of the agreement? I get the petro-dollar argument in regards to governments, but corporations have no ability to use them. Also, what about the fact that members of the GCC are still holding out their debts against Iraq, and what of the monetary judgement towards Kuwait? Where will the money for repayment come from?
  10. This is a well reasoned argument based on historicity. That's why I haven't been picking out my sports car, yacht and mansion yet..... However the scenario (with out solid evidence) that the UST and various other large entities are holding IQD while awaiting an RD/RV is about the only thing I'm hanging on to. I would LOVE to hear/read a debate between John and a few of the guru's. I'm afraid he just might own them, and because of that fact alone I doubt we will ever see such an event. I hope we all have a plan "A" working for us and that the dinar is just a diversion rather than a solid plan for enriching ourselves or a retirement. Still..... Go RV!
  11. Dead on sandstorm. He started out well, but as soon as he crossed the line into predictions, he began to lose credibility, and with each subsequent prediction and passed date he slipped further into the Great Guru Abyss with other luinaries like Blaino, TerryK, and of course Oakie. So sad.
  12. This is one area on the internet (guru's posting crap) that I wish there was less anonymity. I'd bet there would be no guru's if we knew their true identities..... just thinkin' out loud.....
  13. Time flies when you're having fun.... especially when you're hanging out with some good friends Johnny, Jack, Jim .... and Floyd
  14. Some newbie negged you, I guess they just don't get your wry sense of humor, I fixed it. Some people have lost their funny bone on this trip.....
  15. WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP! No one, no one single person can have "confirmed contacts within BIS, ABN, Credit Swiss, UBS, HSBC, Bank Of London, and other high level Banks Worldwide". This "source" would be among the most elite in the world wide banking community, and to think this person would be releasing "intel" to the public is completely ludicrous. This kind of crap is generated from pumper sites to keep the simple minded whipped up and buying dinar on reserve.
  16. No employee of a financial institution or government will ever tip off the public to the detailed plans or timing of legislation or banking moves. Insider trading laws have big teeth. As far as the guru's, they are unscrupulous d-bags and I have no regard for any of them. But you have to admit, most people in dinar land are here because of them. Look, let the guru's "pump-n-grind", they're just noise. They don't have any real pull in this, and they have been proven themselves to be what they really are, either idiots or parasites. Relax, grab a tall cold one and enjoy your family and friends. Don't let the b@$t@rds get to you. This will happen when....... well it happens!
  17. A very Happy Birthday to you, may your camels live long and your goats never run out of milk!
  18. Whaaa? Slow down, I'd like to know what you're getting at....
  19. Makes sense that Iraq would be beholden to the US and other nations and entities that are assisting them in restructuring their country. I think that the guys popping up lately espousing their theories that we will all get shafted (plausible, not likely) are not taking into consideration the simple fact that Iraq owes a lot to very powerful entities (US) and the agreements made to obtain that assistance are not something that we will ever be privy to. Keep up the great work SWFG!
  20. Nothing new, this has always been a risk. I mean, c'mon.... we bought currency that belongs to a third world country who is in a perpetual state of turmoil. That being said, if you do a "Ben Franklin", IMO there are a few more pros than cons, that's why I'm still hanging in here and believe we should see some sort of increase in the future. Thanks again SWFG! I appreciate your impartiality in regards to your opinions and the information you bring.
  21. Hammerman, Bluedog, BellaGrits, Jonnywg...... Oakie Same crap cake, different frosting..... I've never seen anything they say happen as they said (surprise!) and any "intel" that was credible they lifted from sources we call credible here at DV. They take a small article and embellish it to make them sound as if they have some "secret squirrel" intel source. As they say, the best lie has a grain of truth at it's core.
  22. Hey Ski, I can understand not trusting Iraqi sources, how's this for fiction: (Reuters) - An Iraqi regulatory body has ordered the closure of 44 media outlets in the country including the BBC and Voice of America in a dispute over broadcast licenses, sources with knowledge of the order said on Sunday, but no action has yet been taken. Other organizations targeted for shutdown include privately-owned local TV channels Sharqiya and Baghdadia as well as U.S.-financed Radio Sawa. A senior source at the Communications and Media Commission (CMC), the body responsible for the order, said the move had nothing to do with the way the outlets had reported on sectarian conflict in the country, as some reports have suggested. "The CMC sent such a letter warning them that they're going to shut down their services because they didn't pay (their license fees)," a senior source at the CMC told Reuters. The regulator had passed its order to the Baghdad operations command, the source added, referring to the local law enforcement forces who would carry out the closures. "This is totally wrong and unwise as it comes at a time when the country is plunged into political uncertainty," Ziyad al-Ajili, head of the Journalistic Freedoms Observatory, said. "What we are confident of is that the decision was not political, but its negative implications will definitely have political implications on the government and harm the reputation of Iraq as a free country," he added. The BBC said it was negotiating the renewal of its license with the Iraqi authorities. "The delay is due to technicalities," it said in a statement. "The BBC's journalists in Baghdad are not currently experiencing any issues reporting from the country, and it is important that the BBC and other international news organizations are able to operate freely and bring independent and impartial news to audiences in Iraq and the wider region." Some of the outlets on the list no longer operate bureau in Iraq. Iraq's main political factions have been locked in a crisis since December, with opponents of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki accusing the Shi'ite leader of trying to consolidate power at their expense. Maliki is trying to fend off attempts by Sunni, Kurd and some Shi'ite rivals to organize a vote of no-confidence against him.
