  1. Great grab 'Tard! I agree, no NC, no power sharing, no ministers.... no RV. IMO....
  2. Baby steps for sure, but I find it encouraging and fascinating to see a fledgeling democracy striving to form. Frustrations aside, I think it would do us all good to take a break from our own agendas and to take this in. I'm sure that in the future we'll be able to say that we were fortunate to be spectators and in a small way participants in this process. As always, a great find and thanks for sharing!
  3. Quick nurse.... get the guru enema kit!
  4. HOLY MOLEY! What's with all of the mental gymnastics? This thread looks like the DV version of the Olympics. What is the need of some to pick out the negative and expound on it? Doesn't this statement put all of the arguments to bed: "If what has been raised (three zeros) of the Iraqi dinar, it will lead to a rise in value (1000) once calculated value Almertbah to the number of zeros that have been filed, any can of cigarettes that were sold (1000) JD possible purchase after the lifting of zeros dinar one, and one thousand dinars modern can be obtained by a thousand a pack of cigarettes. In theory and when lifting (three zeros from the Iraqi dinar), the purchasing power will rise against the dollar rapidly to become one U.S. dollar equals (JD and a half) just so that the goods imported from abroad and valued by the lifting of the zeroes (1.2 million ) Iraqi dinars, equivalent to (1000) U.S. $ will be worth after the lifting of the three zeros (1200) Iraqi dinars, equivalent to (1000) dollars as well..." We were all told that a small part of the timing of the RV is attributed to the need to educate the citizenry regarding the RV, specifically the exchange rate (thus my reference to the uneducated goat herder). Do you really think that the GOI/CBI will require all the arithmetic for the average citizen to conduct their daily business?
  5. Simple, straight forward explanation supported with examples that even an uneducated nomadic goat herder could understand. So, what does that say about the lopsters who will try to shoot holes in this statement......
  6. Thanks for the post Granny, as usual you are awesome! That being said, I can't find a glass of water big enough to swallow this pill..... I hope it's true, but my jaded heart say's otherwise
  7. Maybe this is thought is too out in the weeds, but it is entirely plausible that a "guru/pumper/dinar trader" has set up the accounts and is tweeting. Just look at the language, and seriously, do you think a high ranking government official In Iraq would be publicizing his itinerary so his enemies and other nut jobs could plan his untimely demise? I'm just sayin'.....
  8. Didn't hear the call, doesn't really matter... remember, opinions are like bung holes.... everybody's got one, and some stink....
  9. Just got word today, a good friend dropped everything a week ago to fly out to Reno because "the tier 1 whales were cashing out..." They were told this by a trusted source, and were compelled to go. After almost twelve hours waiting in "The Biggest Little City in the World", they returned home, lighter in the wallet and richer in experience. The reason I'm sharing this is to illustrate that no one, NO ONE but Dr. Shabibi knows when the switch will be flipped. Irregardless of what you may hear, and from who you hear it from, put what is shared to this simple standard: 1. The remaining Ministers must be seated, so that; 2. The GOI is completed, so they can; 3. Ratify Article 140, which opens the door for; 4. The Erbil Agreement to be voted on and implemented. I know that this is more simple than what might realistically need to happen, but I think it's a good place to go to keep grounded, and from believing the lies the snake oil salesmen. There aren't any special contacts, intel, bank packages, tiers or group agreements. These people have been lying for years. They won't stop. They have no morals, scruples or ethics. Remember, a fool and their money will soon part.
  10. Thanks Texas1, gotta mop up the Jameson from the keyboard... Blaino 's still trying to sell the same s#!t sandwich to the "sheeple"... makes me ill
  11. There's a room open for Oakie because they let Jonny-WinG-nut out of the asylum......
  12. It's great to see you again Carlos, your insight is so appreciated!
  13. It's not that they owe us, it's the fact we "have in our possession" enough dinar to more than pay for the war costs (the Marshall Plan argument)
  14. ...."That's FRAANKENSTEEN!" Wiz, you rock! How about LeGarde and Sarkozy being investigated and charged with influence peddling and fraud last week..... (From your loyal assistant, "Eyegor")
  15. Possum, Possum.... where for art thou 'o Possum?
  16. Seriously, you need to stow that crap. There are other sites on the net where you can do that to your hearts content. After that post, it will be impossible for you to be regarded as anything more than just a moron...
  17. Agreed, c'mon Simon, man up and spill the beans! I mean why would you want to protect a company that would disrespect you and insult your intelligence by sending a load of horse poop like this? And on that note, why would you want to continue to do business with them?
  18. Awesome reference cisole! If I ever had he opportunity to meet Oakie, I would say to him (in a french accent) "Your mother is a hamster and your father smells of elderberries! I fart in your general direction!"
  19. The Iraqi's have an uncanny knack of making liars out of everyone, themselves included (but especially the gurus!)
  20. True, some people are emotionally enmeshed with this currency purchase and can't have an intellectual exchange regarding opposing positions. There's no reason to fear information, regardless of what it purports or which side of the argument it supports. I believe the issue that has wadded up the panties on this thread is not so much the content of what alan presented, it's the way he presented it. Taking credit for bringing breaking news that in fact was published by KK three days before is just a juvenile move, and one that lowered his credibility. This is one forum that the members strive to keep at a level far above those sites run by the pumpers and MLM call in junkies. That is where alan's lame attempt at being a newshound belongs. Huzzah!
