  1. "it bothered me knowing how much the Iraqi people have given up, but the higher ups still enjoy the wealth and do not suffer as the common people do... "

This sort of statement bothers me yet I see it on here all the time. People say this when they're in their warm homes at their computers, yet will cross the street so they don't have to walk by the homeless bum sleeping on the sidewalk. Anyone that is in this investment with the lone hope of seeing the Iraqi lower class improve their lifestyle is full of bunk. Ask yourself this question. if an RV happens but the Iraqi government refuses to let their lower class improve their conditions, will you send the profit you made to a relief fund in their names? I didn't think so.... We all want this to happen, but expressing a false bleeding heart in an attempt to make it sound like you really care is ridiculous. Don't hear you talking about the poor bastards in Syria getting blown to bits, but there's nothing in it for ya, is there?

  2. Ok...i'm going to help everyone out in figuring out the different types of Dinarians...I call this the Goat Fart theory.

On television, they show a reporter in Iraq talking about something. Behind him walks a goat and it passes gas for all to hear. The types of Dinarians are divided as such

    1) The Smoke and Mirrorers- They think the goat has finally eaten some expensive feed. For the goat to get this expensive feed, its owner must've finally come across the money to feed it this. There must be an in country RV that they're not telling us about.

2)The Lopsters- They think the goat has been eating poor feed. The goat, knowing that poor feed can only lead to no feed is gobbling up as much feed as it can, thus causing it to pass gas. The goats owner, who has no money and never will, will soon run out of feed, thus fulfilling the goats prophecy.

3)The Tweeners- We like to sit back and let things happen as they happen knowing that no matter what we do, the Dinar will go on it's destined course. Our only real concern is for the reporter, who has to deal with the smell of the goat fart.

  3. Good guess.

This inability to read between the lines is the LOPsters' Achilles heel. Everything they hold dear is predicated on their unshakeable belief in every word they read in the Iraqi press.

So here's the real question. What if the CBI realizes that there are still several foreigners that are buying up dinar because of the "smoke and mirrors" that are supposedly there? They could keep sending out news articles that appear to be "smoke and mirrors", thus becoming pumpers themselves. Could it be that they're not as obvious as you think they are?

  4. Okay, please go back and read the chart carefully...

They sold 222.5 million US Dollars to 21 different Iraqi banks. There's nothing in there about me saying they sold 200 billion dollars.

million, billion...either way that number is irrelevant. all i was stating is that you are disregarding the amount of dinar purchased, which is none. their auction isn't designed to deal in USD, it's designed to deal in dinars. they just put the amount of dinar that they sold in USD because if there are other currencies, it would be too much to print and the USD is the world standard atm.

  5. The only way it's really coming out of circulation is on my speculation that they are buying Dinar back from local banks (where businesses locally and individuals deposit their money) in exchange for the US Dollars the CBI has. Once the CBI gets those Dinar, do they circulate them back out? In order to do that, wouldn't they have to sell them back to the bank? Do you see the CBI buying local banks' foreign currency reserves, like the US Dollar? I never see the local banks selling US Dollars back to the CBI for more dinar, so where do the citizens get dinar from? They likely get paid in dinar, so their employers must get dinar from the banks, hence the companies are probably the biggest customers at the banks, depositing US Dollars and Dinar both at the banks and getting back what they need in dinar to pay citizens and the rest is probably just kept in their. The point is, Dinar is literally being traded back to the CBI daily in massive amounts from these smaller banks... so what does the CBI do with all those paper dinar notes? What's the flow of them, do they go back out to the banks on regular distributions? If so, what is the mechanism for that? No one know, and no one has ever been able to answer this question for me. My speculation is that they are keeping them stashed away, "lifted, removed, deleted, etc." from the currency. Like the 3-zeros articles always talk about, that is how they are getting rid of the dinar. But the money supply isn't going down, it's just being replaced with US Dollars, so when the revaluation happens, the CBI is going to make a killing off of exchanging US Dollars in circulation for the new lower note currency at the higher exchange rate. The spread will likely be insane and the CBI will rake in tons of profit, basically paying for the printing of the new currency and for infrastructure rebuilding. Their current rake is 13 dinar per transaction, so they make a bundle as is with US Dollar/IQD exchanges.

Looking at your auction chart explanations, you have the sell price of dinar at 1170, but have them selling 200 billion dollars. They are selling dinar. The purchase price would be 1170 if they were buying them and they sold 200 billion dollars worth of dinar. Not jabbing at you, just stating you are disregarding the entire chart.

  6. In response to sonny1 giving a new time, this is his exact post on "another" site from yesterday i believe...

"I was told this was to happen last week [chapter 7 being lifted]..They're out people...the RV might be pushed back a week... I'm waiting on a m.e. call."

  7. Keep... Scoot had a chart you have probably seen and can find if you look for it. It is from the 2010 DFI audit, called the draft statements of cash receipts and disbursements. Since inception until Dec 31, 2010 it showed that the DFI fund had the following:

purchased treasury bills ($89,893,226,000) ... in parenthesis.

proceeds from treasury bills upon maturity was under that $84,137,534,000 .... no parenthesis... that shows to me it's a credit and debit situation.

total cash and cash equivalents as of dec 31 $1,797,054,000 ... I believe this was Iraq money held in foreign countries

treasury bills at end of December were $5,755,693,000 ... This was the stated difference between the 2 at the top.

Cash, cash equivalents, and t bills at Dec 31 $7,552,747,000...This is how much that was in the DFI by Dec 31 2010 & adds the 2 above accounts for a total.

It looks like that tells me there was $7.5 billion in the DFI account at the end of Dec 31, 2010. "Others" say you add the $89 billion + $84 billion to get $173 billion in the DFI account. I think they think that means a revolving amount of treasury bills are invested at any given time but I consider that wrong. The t bills have a predictable return in my opinion and this is why they state it that way. I am NOT a CPA by any stretch. Maybe someone else on here is and can verify or deny.

there are different ways to look at this....the first number in parenthesis is a negative number...it was used to purchase the bills...the second number says "proceeds" which usually indicates profit, but could also mean that is the sum total at cash out, which is about a 5bn loss, which for the time period invested, is a distinct possiblity.....the last number, which says the total, including the t bills is 7.5 bn....either it has a poor explanation of what's in there or someone is a thief. could definately be either.

I'm not a professional CPA, but I did sleep at a holiday inn last night.

  8. I like when you leave some sort of comment. The whole THANKS K98 is getting over redundant. Are you trying to get your post count up or are you really thankful?

wow...and posting this exact same thing on every one of his posts isn't redundant?

    ...RING RING...

    "Hello?"

    "Is this Kettle?"

    "Why yes it is"

    "Your black" -click-

-latest FBI telephone transcript taken from Pot's house

  9. .....and the best news of all? The number of man hours that will be saved by people not having to check their dinar sites for the latest news. I, for one, get up 20 minutes early for work every morning to skim over everything, just in case I "suddenly" don't have to go to work that morning. It's been a fun ride thus far......

  10. 120 mill x (.062073)the cost per note=7,448,760 notes in various denominations even if they were all 25k thats only 186 billion in dinar. It is estimated that there is trillions out there .BS BS BS

They were only authorized 1 trillion by the IMF

not sure where the math is here, but i get around 1.933 billion notes printed which makes the avg note value 14,000ish.

  11. I think all K98nights is saying is if you are going to post C.N.'s news, post in rumors. That gives a good lead to find a proper link. I've found most things on that site useful (not the meter) but you are correct in saying that unless there is a link, it has to be considered a rumor until proven one way or the other.

  12. Is this the wrong place to bring up my three encounters with a ghost? (and no, I'm not lying). Anyone who gets upset at someone when that someone questions their faith is only upset because they question it themselves. Real faith goes unwavered, no matter what anyone says. You can't press your faith onto someone else and expect them to have faith also. They may only just try to believe (and yes, there is a difference)(and this is why I hate churches). This is why arguing about faith is just plain silly because your true faith is uniquely yours.

  13. This whole thread is disturbing.....

The one promoting peace seems like they enjoy bringing out the anger in people and potentially starting a riot.

The one promoting chistianity over muslims needs to step back and look at what they are saying. Cross out the words christian, muslim and God and you sound like you would press the "GO" button on a genecide.

This country was founded on many beliefs...one being freedom of religion and another being the right to bear arms. The wise men that put these ideas together did so because of human nature. Humans are violent by nature. Humans have a faith, no matter what it might be. Anyone who says differently is lying to themselves.

I guess my point on this is that religion has been the basis of wars, of genocide, and even someone like Hitler believed in "God" so much that he tried gathering as many christian artifacts as possible to have God on his side.

Just curious...do you believe in the church?

  14. I would'nt RV anything untill this CRAP stopped, All this RV would do is to fuel more ammo and guns to create more harm to the people. Just my thought

This "crap" happens in our own country. If it didn't, the local news would have to report about kittens being born and that would just bore the hell out of me. As far as giving them more guns and ammo, the only ones you'd be taking the guns and ammo away from are the ones who need it to protect themselves from the criminal types. The bad guys will acquire guns one way or the other regardless.

  15. Dwight - the stupid word is waste - not waist - I just feel badly for our country because school children from India who use English as their second language would not make the same mistake. I am not trying to be mean, but come on folks, we need to do better and I am not just talking about spelling. America and Americans are still the best, but we had better not be looking back. Yeah, do not give a shinola about the topic of this post. Somebody count the usage of LOL just in this post. Now, I take everything back, Dwight, if English is your second language because you would be entitled to such a gaffe, but I have not met too many Asian people named Dwight. i apologize for my zeal, but words are beautful things.

butkus51, you're whole rant is pointless if you're missing punctuation, have poorly structured sentences and can't spell "beautiful" correctly. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. I'm not saying I'm perfect by any means, but I'm sick of seeing others being rude to those trying to contribute to the DV family.

  16. dflake......I must agree with Maynard on this one. This is BIG.....if accuaretly being reported of course. Remember that this entire RV is a process. It is not magic or wishful thinking. This accounting of 2010 was a requirement before parliament would even cast a final vote for the 2011 budget draft resolution.

Now we have the Kurds saying that the HCL is agreed to now and will be ratified upon Allawi's strategic counsel becoming ratified into the GOI.

The 3 security ministries are almost there. This will complete the GOI.

The 2011 budget will have its vote on Tuesday or Wednesday. ( Scheduled for this anyways)

The CBI has presented its monetary policy to the parliment. Shabbi and his staff did this personally a couple of weeks ago.

These will be the final stages for acceptance to the WTO.

    Lets look for it to reveal itself in the following fashion. Maybe not this exact order. All of which could occur in 48 hours once the 3 security ministries are filled. Here goes;

1)The final 3 security positions are presented to the parliament and approved.

    2) Allawi's strategic counsel is ratified and made part of the Iraqi constitution.

    3) The HCL is ratified by the parliment and submitted to Maliki for exectutive approval

    4) Parliament confirms Maliki's entire cabinet and is printed in the Gazette to make them official.

    5) Parliament ratifies the 2011 budget and is printed in the Gazette.

    6) Parliament raties the recently removed terms of UNCS chapter 7 sanctions.

    7) Parliament approves the new Monetary policy submitted by the CBI and sends it to Maliki for the executive approval. Much like our congress sends new law to the president for his signature and becomes law.

    8) CBI announces the new rate for IQD and is activated for trade on Forex immediately.

    9) The timelines for exchange of the 000's are made known to the rest of the world ( If any)

Thanks for a great post dflake (+)

    All the best,

    Lgraham

I may be confused on this, but doesn't the IMF need to approve step 8? I've been under the impression since I got into this that the IMF sorta has the final say to any currency becoming "legit". I hope I've been wrong this whole time.....

  17. everything is in place now ... yes the rate is said to be $5.00 to $5.22 due to the re budgeting on their oil ... he told me Intel would be first. That is all the info I have right now ... yes 5.00 - 5.22 ... no this is the first time he has said anything of the sort ... we were almost crying on the phone.

The IRS is expecting triple the amount paid in this year because of this RV.

My Cousin and his investors have direct ties to a member in the state department ... they were notified this evening.

Everything is in line for an RV at around 4:00 / 4:30 am est. ... The RV is going to happen according to this source tonight ... the rate was quoted as being $5.00 - 5.22 ... it is supposed to hit the intel and then sent to all banks tomorrow ... then we will be able to cash Tuesday.

I am so relieved ... Update on the Intel

I saw you said once "Rumor and Ignorant are the same thing"...what does it mean when you make poolmans chat/rumor a post of your own?
