  1. On this day, the 8th of September when the Church celebrates the birth of the Virgin Mary, I think I am obligated to point out a few things seeing as though it has become hard for us to hear the word from Gods Church. It is not that God has favorites; it’s just that as you love some people more than others, so does He, being those who do His will and faithfully serve Him till there last breath. God rests in His saints. Mary was born as we were, into a fallen world and in need of the savior as we are. She was though dedicated to the temple by her elderly parents at the age of Three where she was raised in prayer and service to God. Sound like our lives yet? When she had reached the age at which she could no longer stay in the temple, about 13, she had to be given into the care of someone seeing as though her elderly parents were now deceased. She was betrothed to Joseph. At about 14 years of age the Archangel Gabriel appeared to her. Gabriel was so in awe of her that he was at a loss for what to say to her, so her spoke to her as he was instructed by God. “HAIL MARY FULL OF GRACE THE LORD IS WITH THEE.” He told her that she had found favor with God and that she would bring forth the savior of the world. Sound like our lives yet? She was ridiculed and blasphemed for obvious pregnancy without being married and it was the will of the people to kill her. If they killed her we might still be waiting for the savior today. Sound like our lives yet? Joseph was an elderly man at the time of their betrothal and confessed to Jesus directly at about the age of 100 and passed away just before Jesus began His ministry, do the math. P.S. get a hold of Joseph’s confession and read it, it will move your heart. MARKINSA: Run 100 yards in 9.9 seconds and I will agree with you that we are all equal. When you die and are assumed into heaven physically, when you appear to countless faithful people after your death and grant miracles then I will say, you know what, you were equal to the mother of God, but I will reserve that conclusion till we have both passed. Reading some literature written on the subject will inspire and help us all have a better perspective on what is attainable for a humans in terms of righteousness and holiness, the qualities found in all Gods saints and certainly exemplified in Gods mother. So if God requires all our praise then do not praise another of your fellow saints for as long as you live, even if they lay their life down for the faith. This is a flawed notion, God expects us to love one another and praising, especially those who excel in faith is not only edifying it is expected, though giving the glory in all things to God when praised. Worship of course is alone reserved for God. Perhaps Mary is turning over in her grave, oh wait, she doesn’t have one. JESUS HAD NO PHYSICAL BROTHERS; He had cousins. The Septuagint, the ancient Greek translation of the Hebrew Scriptures used by the Apostles (abbreviated LXX) includes specific words for "cousin," notably adelphinos and anepsios, but they are rarely used. The less specific word adelphos, which can mean "brother," "cousin," "kinsman," "fellow believer," or "fellow countryman," is used consistently throughout the LXX, even when cousin or kinsman is clearly the relation described (such as in Genesis 14:14, 16; 29:12; Leviticus 25:49; Jeremiah 32:8, 9, 12; Tobit 7:2; etc.). Lot, for instance, who was the nephew of Abraham (cf. Genesis 11:27-31), is called his brother in Genesis 13:8 and 11:14-16. The point is that the commonly used Greek word for a male relative, adelphos, can be translated "cousin" or "brother" if no specific family relation is indicated. Is there anywhere a clear statement in the Scriptures establishing Jesus brothers as literally the children of Mary? In fact, there is not. Nowhere is Mary explicitly stated to be the mother of Jesus' brothers. The formula for speaking of the Lord's family is "His mother and His brothers." In Mark the possessive, anavtou"of Him," is inserted before both "His mother" and "His brothers," making a clear distinction. In Acts 1:14, the separation is more pronounced: "Mary the mother of Jesus, and His brothers." Some manuscripts use the conjunctive syn "along with, in company with," so that the text reads "Mary the mother of Jesus, along with His brothers." In any case, Mary is never identified as the mother of Jesus' brothers (nor they as her children), but only as the Mother of Jesus. If Jesus had brothers, He broke tradition by giving her to the Apostle John at the cross. And yes, Mary is a type of the new Eve, obedient to God. PONDER THIS. Jesus lived for 9 months inside a sinner, touching her sinful body, breathing her sinful air and being fed by her sinful flesh. Make sense to you??? This notion is unthinkable. The holy saints love and adore her as Gods mother. She is a speedy intercessor, humble beyond reproach, always pointing us to her son and our Lord and may she greet us in the company of our family when we depart from this life. Blessed be the holy mother of God who is praised among the angels and the saints. Eternal be her memory and glorified be the fruit of her womb our Lord and savior Jesus Chris, now and always unto the end of the age.
  2. Thaiexpat, on 06 Sept 2013 - 01:31 AM, said: So God had a beginning? God was incarnated God does not have a beginning. God was not diminished in Jesus and had no limitations. In obedience He carried out the will of the Father even though He could have wiped out the earth on His own. When he returns He will, but not according to His will but the will of the Father. Though He is obedient He is not diminished, he co-operates within the Holy Trnity. God was killed by man. If you are a true Jew, then you understand that there is no remission of sin without the shedding of blood. The sacrifices did not achieve the repentance of the people and the magnitude of Adams sin and the separation from God that it caused required a divine sacrifice; enter the sacrificial lamb, Jesus. God got hungry? As God He can relate to our human condition as a human he has set the attainable path of salvation for other humans to follow and prove through His life, miracles and love for us, that it can be done and that in fact God loves us so much that he sent His only Begotten Son to die for us. If you have children of your own as I do, then we can relate in the minutest extent to what that meant to God the Father. God had a mama? Isaiah 7:14, “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” The Virgin Mary is the holiest of all people born and the only person ever to be counted worthy to contain the eternal. As the hymns recount, her womb was more spacious than the heavens and the milk of her breast fed the Son of God. God is humble, humble enough to have a human mother. Sorry, doesn't fly with this Jew. Also, the water analogy doesn't work because, God very clearly stated, "I am God and do not change..." Comparing god to something that does have different states doesn’t work. God did not change, He became a man that was the only way to offer the eternal sacrifice by taking flesh, His spirit did not and cannot die, therefore the flesh was necessary to provide the revelation and completion of Gods plan for salvation, and to conquer death by entering it and going through it. The Ressurection. Jesus stated, "I am a man....." "sent by my father in Heaven..." etc. Many verse state he is a man (not to debate the son of god issue) On his return, "No one knows, not even I. Only the Father in Heaven..." If he was God, why didn't just state he knew? Contradictions in what is stated repeatedly in the Bible. But again, doesn't matter to me since I am not of your religion. I will continue to believe in ONLY ONE GOD and continue to consider the whole "trinity" thing an invention of the Catholics. cheers Jesus was crucified because He confessed to being the Son of God, how can you or I understand God in the flesh? Remember that God said in Genesis, “Let us make man in our image.” Our image, the image of a God is plural. King David said, ” The LORD says to my lord: "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet." Christ said in the Gospel of Matthew 21:43, 43 “Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it. 44 And whoever falls on this stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder.” But don’t stress, the Greeks were there buddy when your ancestors dropped the ball and through the conquering of Alexander, the Gospel was translated into Greek and spread throughout the world. The law fails, circumcision is of no avail because of a people who deny the power of God, the Jewish priesthood has ended and the ORTHOOX CHRISTIAN church, which is catholic, meaning all encompassing, carries the true Christian faith NOT the church of Rome. If you want to read the book that may give God the ammunition to change your mind, read the book of Romans. It was written by Saint Paul (most awesome man) who was a Pharisee trained by the highly praised Pharisee Gamaliel. If you are a Jew then are you waiting for the Messiah, and what will he be to you? My understanding is that the Messiah will put Israel on top of the world. Enter the Anti-Christ.
  3. This is all according to your doctrine and like a thousand other religious fanatics only your way is the right way. all others burn in hell doesn't matter that you believe the living god gave his only begotten son to be slaughtered as the lamb for the sins of the world or you do your best to live your life in a righteous and decent manner. If you don't do it exactly the way YOUR doctrine demands well then your just screwed. DOG 53: Only God will judge those who will burn and not burn in hell and may we all be counted worthy on that day. I guess I am to some extent fanatical about the Christ that I know and why He was incarnated because I love people and my desire is for them to come to a deeper and correct worship and relationship with God. In regards to “it doesn’t matter what you believe” I must disagree, it absolutely matters what you believe, It is what separates Mormon’s, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Protestants Catholics and what I am an Orthodox Christian, it matters because if you do not know what the Apostles know then how can you claim sonship when the primary Ministry mission of our Lord was to establish the Church and the manor of worship and belief that He desired. It's not my doctrine DOG, it is Christ's and the Apostles, they will judge you and me. What is astounding to me is that the devil has taken the Eucharist as the center for worship and made it of no significance, reducing those who do not understand to spiritually lifeless, in the words of Christ, “If you do not eat My flesh and drink My blood, you have no life in you.” My hearts desire is to be prepared to receive the Lord in a worthy manor; this is the simple but mysterious foundation of 2000 years of faith that I am a small part of. Nelg: “Funny that you should say that, for that IS what I am teaching tonight: Salvation through the propitiatory sacrifice of Christ. Hummm. I guess I need to study that a little more. And, with the way Athim started, by the time we have several post, there is no telling what he would say.” By understanding the origin of Pasca, one can grasp the significance of the cross in relation to the Jews and the door that God opened for the gentiles. To look at the crucifixion though in isolation as the stand alone act of salvation is exclusionary. The mechanism of salvation is not a one time cover all event for those who follow Christ. We were saved when Jesus died on the cross, we are saved by accepting Jesus as Lord and savior and by a Trinitarian Baptism, we are being saved as we struggle daily with temptations and sin with the help of the Trinity and the saints, and we will be saved by completing our life in a repentant fashion. The purpose of the cross has been fulfilled and the door is open, but the way of destruction is broad and many will take that path. So how does one find the true path and what is the true path and does that path still exist today. All of Jesus ministry is interconnected and culminates with the cross and resurrection. Jesus came to establish the Church and chose the 12 Apostles to accomplish its beginning, by the laying on of hands in Ordination, the Church has grown and still exists under the governance of the Holy Spirit starting at Pentecost, through the grace bestowed by Christ, with His living Apostles, Clergy, monastic’s, and the faithful laity who have laid down, and continue to lay down their lives as Christ did, for Christ so that His truth can to be upheld and glorified. Not as fanatic Muslims, killing and being killed, but as the sweet fragrance of sacrifice that burns in the heart of God. The body and blood of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, is and always will be the center of correct worship and faith for the Church militant. His sermon in the desert recounted in the Gospel of the Apostle John chapter 6, ties in with the last supper and the authority given to the Church to forgive sins in Jesus name and to administer His body and blood to the true believers. Sure the church put structure and Tradition to these authorities under the governance of the Holy Spirit, but if we do not believe in the Church and that the Holy Spirit rests in the saints, and that Holy God fearing Spirit filled men and women are built upon the rock of Christ, then what good does it do you having a bible that they wrote and complied anyway, or what good does it do you claiming to be a saint when your legacy is torn down by heresy. I am not angry with you or anyone else, I love people including many Protestants and Catholics but when you preach something other than what the Apostles held, they will judge you not me and you best know the truth before you strain the gnat and swallow the camel. The Church will stand till the end and not one iota will change, the truth will be preached and those who truly seek Christ with humility, obedience and of course by the will of Christ, will find eternal life in this life and the next. P. S. I love this stuff more than the Dinar I hold.
  4. Nelg. There is no such thing as, "simply a Christian". You have a belief system connected to what you believe about God, and as you put it, from scripture alone, a rediculous concept anyway, and if you understood how being saved by the blood of the lamb happens in real life, you would not be, "simply a Christian".
  5. THUG: I don't post much, I am perhaps a little jaded from the years of having my brain siphoned. But I wanted to say - - - God bless you for the effort you put into making the site peppy. You will be remembered after this thing is over. I know it takes work to come up with the Headlines and I appreciate you - I read what you post because of the effort you make. You are a good Thug!
  6. Nelg, I am the church, the temple, the Word lives in me. Luke 11:35 Therefore take heed that the light which is in you is not darkness. There are different types of light, including black-lights. The word of God is light and allows one to see and believe the mysteries of the Christ, therefore if you do not believe in the mysteries of Christ the light is not in you. But the mysteries of Christ are a mystery to the Protestants. Orthophonic: Protestants did not misinterpret the Holy Scriptures. Unfortunately the Protestants threw the baby out with the bath water and they DID misinterpret the scriptures and continue to this day, excluded from the New Testament because they, in their zeal to be autonomous from Rome, forsook the canons and teachings of the church and interpreted the word, according to their own measure of faith, being the product of a church that was already faltering. The fathers of Rome that led it to the schism in 1054 will be held accountable for their deeds, the Godless acts that followed and a church that has since changed original doctrines of faith. Rome was scared of the masses having the scriptures and perhaps for good reason, look at the result! False Christ's everywhere preaching false doctrine that does not lead to salvation and the name of Jesus has been scandalized by the harlots of Satan, mixing truth with lies. In the case of Rome, the church should of emphasized education rather than segregation.
  7. Nelg There you are again. The Bible without the Church is the word without foundation and the Church without the Bible is a Church without a word. You are another fluffer! Despite your statements, the work of the Holy Spirit started at Pentecost and continues to this day it did not stop and wait for the Protestants to misinterpret it and claim truth, truth. The Church has the truth and the Bible is a part of that truth and to deny the Church is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. How were the books of the Bible chosen, do some research and get back to me. I think you will continue to disbelieve the truth.
  8. IMHO Despite what the GURU's think, and despite the level of religious commitment the politicians in Iraq may or may not have, I don't see it happening before Ramadan has finished either. An RV during this time and the ensuing chaotic, hedonistic and unconfined celebration it would cause among the people would have the pious Imams’ and faithful crying bloody murder and would taint an otherwise historic event for Iraq. So I side with Adam’s older opinion that it won’t happen during Ramadan. Having said that, I do believe all the articles and the bull’s-eye Iraq has drawn on themselves, *being release from VII and *waving the RV flag on a daily basis means that the international media is on alert and in light of the celebration after Ramadan I think Luigi’s timing could be spot on. QUESTION: We see that the US banks have bought in; in light of the global nature of this event would it not be logical to see OS banks set up shop also? I know the US would have first rights but have we seen Chinese, Russian, Australian banks etc buy in?
  9. He adds that "the process needs to media awareness and make toggle currency currency over two years and not to restrict certain banks and to be a broad base of banks in all provinces of Iraq." The word 'toggle' is interesting if translated correctly. It would mean in this case that both denominations , lower denoms and ours would co-exist for two years toggling, which implies a full revaluation.
  10. If you were repaying $100,000,000 (million) Dinar on a home loan, after the RV at say 1:1, you would owe $100,000 Dinar on the home. Debt schedules would be readjusted by removing three zero's from creditors and debtors balance. I know they are typically less educated than the west but recalibrating the debt and repayment schedule is not difficult. Me thinks, and hopes smoke!
  11. Not everyone like us is a speculator and will keep their Dinar till the end game. They can buy back loose currency at the current rate if they desire driving up the potential value of the remaining hard currency. I am not assuming they can buy it all back but they can certainly drop the amount on the street with the USD in hand as is evidenced by the current USD drive. I dont believe their quoted currency amounts anyway. They will keep the scent of a rise well hidden behind many lies and the true IQD volume is still a surprise.
  12. Didn't Iraq already have 50 bil. in hand with an additional 80 billion added to equal 130 bil? I am wondering why you trust the amount of DInar they quote is in circulation, just because they said it doesn't mean it isn't another misdirect? At any rare, at the current exchange rate, about 35 billion of the reserve they hold would reduce the amount of Dinar in circulation to zero, and they could revalue to whatever amount they seem fit. Not that it will happen that way, but it would seem to be a logical approach as opposed to a wash out event.
  13. I feel sorry for the folks who don't. I also feel sorry for the people who see the writing on the wall and are unable to do anything about it because of the financial burdens they face. A global alignment is part of a bigger plan and is well under way, currencies must become equitable. Thanks for the post Eagle 1. a nice read!
  14. What would really be cool is if they bring back Shabs to take emergency measures and he pulls out the big gun. Bring the medecine Shabs, it will heal all our hemorrhoids!
  15. ATHIM

    NO RV SOON

The big road fuel movers carry 9,500 gallons of gas. If Iraq's oil prduction is in the Millions of barrels per day something does not make sense in regards to what he sees. Makes sense about relacing whats taken out. SInkholes in the future I guess.
  16. Agreed! Hopefully a speedy finale to a long drawn out process. There were many things on the checklist that we were unaware of and the Iraqi people are paying for the mess their political, social and financial system is in. The big players who open and close the acts on these countries place human suffering lower on their agenda as opposed to how it will further their agenda and line their pockets. The whole 'Project Iraq' thing has been at least questionable from the onset. (W.O.M.D., Oil agenda etc) As you said, if our troops were going in they should of stayed till the system was in better shape than when they found it. The strain on an already floundering US economy may of factored in to the timeline though. Iran is the biggest vulture on the scene with no big stick to be hit with, I.e. US authority. What strikes me is that if the human suffering there gets the global attention it deserves it will focus the worlds attention on the area and an RV while justified, will create a lot of anger among people who did not invest. One would think that they would want it to slip through in a discreet fashion. Back to my earlier statement, the big wheels don’t care about the carnage as they roll.
  17. What should we do??? Ummm, Ummm, Ummm, RV maybe. Psychologically and as a political global justification it seemed that it would have to get to a point beyond desperation before they pulled the trigger. Let's hope the whole thing is finally in focus.
  18. skeptic1138, on 25 May 2013 - 4:53 PM, said: RE,MUSLIMS Yes I do. Those that I know are all perfectly ordinary folks and are disgusted at the hijacking of their religion by nut-cases. Me too. I completely agree. As far as the “Nut-Cases” go, remember it is never the passives within a religion that start a violent movement it is always the radicals (Adolf Hitler etc.) the rest of the populace has no choice but to follow suit when the radicals assume power. With Muslims, the underlying premise of occupying a country is to stay passive till you outbreed or can overpower the native population THEN overtake the country making the Muslim religion law. It is a one way street religion, you go in but you cannot get out. 400 years the Ottoman Turks (Muslims) held Greece making the indigenous people their slaves. Young boys were taken from families, raised as Muslims and bought back to kill their own families. The Christian Clergy were systematically targeted and exterminated in order to break the stronghold that the Christian faith had on the people. When the Greek revolution was finally declared in 1821, they pronounced that “first they fought for their faith and then for their country”. From that declaration on they killed every Muslim they could find including men, women and children and took back their country. Watch and learn from the catastrophic mistake countries have made allowing Muslims to reside within. For something right next door, take a look at Dearborn Michigan, a shining example to all Muslims. A filthy snake has been invited into our house and don't think for a second that they will change, they will not, but we will die at their hands until we wise up and act. Sorry for the hard line but its better that people know what is coming as they surround us.
  19. Not upset buddy, just love God and those who love Him. May our good Lord bless you now and always.
  20. EagleEye: Jesus establishes religious rites as the integral part of the New Testament with God. I am a Greek and a Biblical scholar of 30 years, religion is not the correct word in my opinion. Jesus followed the traditions (religious rites) of His people, He was dedication to the temple, He was circumcision, He waiting till 30 to teach, He Fasted, He was Baptized, He taught in the temple and read the word etc. Jesus is religions truest example teaching what a religious person should emulate. If you pray, if you fast, if you believe in any mysteries established by Jesus, then by definition you also are religious. Here is the definition of religious; by and large most definitions would fall within this range. Definition of RELIGIOUS 1: relating to or manifesting faithful devotion to an acknowledged ultimate reality or deity <a religious person> <religious attitudes> 2: of, relating to, or devoted to religious beliefs or observances <joined a religious order> 3: scrupulously and conscientiously faithful
  21. EagleEye Jesus is religious so I don't really understand what you are saying. Jesus had a disdain for people who were stuck on ritual without love for each other. They were religious to their god who Jesus declared as Satan. Religion means to be aligned with "a god" and in the case of Christians they are religious people following Jesus who to them, me also, is "God". Respectfully, I think religion is not the right word to use, perhaps 'hypocrites' who profess one thing and do another would be more accurate, or people who are "ritualistic' without the foundation of faith. There has been a movement in the media against people who are religious, it is a cheap tool used by the devil to confuse and it seems to work quite well.
  22. God causes it to fall on the righteous and the godless. That was your sign. LOL
