The GOI must be going to release a new IQD value because otherwise, if they only deal in IQD and not dollars then they need to charge 99560 IQD per barrel (1310 rate) at approximately $76 per barrel! IMHO

So...98,925,642 IQD is actually about $76,000 at the current exchange rate of 1310. They must be in the process of significantly increasing the value of the IQD to USD. To me it does not make sense to even write about $76k does it? Just sayin! IMHO

Seems to me this opens the door for each iraqi citizen to receive a yearly cut of the oil profits. If true I believe they will have to increase the value of the IQD. IMHO

It will (or at least was) easy to fly to Kuwait where they will most likely have some money changers. Detroit to Amsterdam to Kuwait. t won't be inexpensive because 15 years ago it was $1500 US. (one way). I would not chance flying into BIAP Airport with a bunch of IQD. My trust level is very low when it comes to Iraq. However, If you do want to fly to Iraq you can go to La Guardia to Aman Jordan (Princes Alia Airport) and into Baghdad International Airport. Good luck, you may need it either way due to the large sums of IQD you are transporting. When I made both trips several times 04-07 they checked all my bags at beginning and ending flights.

IMO: The exchange rate will be real and on-file at every airport in the world that exchanges currency (especially for tourists on their way to that destination). (Once Iraq decides to RV and put it on Forex). Just moving the value back to 1200 or so will not show it on Forex. IMO

The IQD will NOT be worthless! Once the FOREX announces the rate I will be driving 1 mile to wells fargo to exchange for USD. Then, I will be driving to the Bentley dealership to exchange my old Ford Falcon (just kidding) for a new 2022 Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible. $307,225 ! And that's all I have to say about that!
