So, was there a big announcement in Iraq today or has this thing turned in to a big ole Turkey? From everything I've learned from this site and personal research this thing may not happen until the 1st quarter of 2011. I know so many of us want it now but IMO most of us will be trying to swallow another hyped weekend of RV Turkey. How many think we'll have a little baby New Year's RV? I do. A little over $0.30 - hoping it weighs at least $0.83. I don't disagree that Iraq could possibly come out a lot higher. Just keep fallin' back on "if it sounds to good to be true it probably is" !!! Here's hoping our New Year's Baby is a big one (anywhere over $1.00). Any thoughts that differ?? Enjoy your families and football today.

Dinar Truth - Where in my post did I say anything negative about Steve I????? To the contrary, I was complementary toward him in regards to his enthueasim for our investment and the stating the reasons why (at least) I purchased dinar. hspotman - Thank you for making my argument - Steve I hasn't stated ONE thing specifically that would happen. You also said Steve I doesn't say anything without facts to back it up then you turn around and say there hasn't been anything factural for him to state???? That's why I questioned why do you have to wait for Steve I to update you? I guess I just don't understand the Guru Groupie mentality. I prefer to consider all sources and make up my own mind. Dinar Truth, did you and hspotman vote for Obama? Y'all seem to be a little too enchanted with Steve I. (no offense Steve I - I appreciate your efforts and communicating effectively your opion based on "credible" heresay, history and inductive reasoning.) You might want to make sure your security system is working - may have a couple of stalkers in your bushes.

Why do you have to wait for a Steve I update? Are you also waiting for him to tell you when it's time to eat, sleep etc.. He is very good at reminding us why were in this investment in the first place but I can't recall anything he's said to be on the mark yet. I completely enjoyed listening to his open chat the week before last. It was good, positive insight. You can't tell me that between all the info on this site and common sense you still need someone to tell you what to think about "your" investment. If you think Steve I is up to speed on what's going on over there than most then I'd have to say that speed must be "mozy".

I don't have a history with JC's post but I read the entire letter on DD. He indicates that M will be asked to form a government. M will have his time period to do so according to the constitution. From what I read, everything is preceeding however there is opposition, difficulties and hurdles in setting the government. Is this a news flash? Of course, there are problems in setting up a new government but it appears as though they are hitting or working to hit the dates written in the Constitution. Everyone pull your head out of whatever oriface your have it in and look at this with some common sense. What's the problem with an RV in the first quarter of next year? Or at anytime next year as long as there is a functional, representative government. Everyone should be concerned if this thing (government) doesn't get put together. You think we'll have it bad day if we lose a long shot inverstment? Think of the turmoil the Iraqi's will go through if these guys screw up. I want this to happen yesterday but as long as it has a chance to RV I'm content. We're trying to hit a home run of a life time with the RV. Relax. If you can't run with the big dogs then stay under the poarch!!!

The RV will come someday. Common sense tells me that it will be later rather sooner. Deadlines don't mean nearly as much as the oil underground and the men in charge (today) know it. As long as the major political parties continue to work toward a representative parliment the RV will happen. The only thing that will bury our investment is civil unrest (war). And then I'll blame our current administration for letting it happen. At some point governments, multi-national companies the UN and other international agencies will have to step in and tell these yahoos to get it together or those in power will not have anymore power. You might as well throw away your calendars - That "House of Cards" of a government has a very big septic tank with a crap load of oil.
