IMHO... The American team basically laid it on the table and told them... get these issues sorted or we will withdraw the dollar further. BUT, both parties had to keep a front for the cameras. Iraq either needs to pull their finger out on all issues or they will loose support system" rel="">support and they will go back to the dark ages very quickly. I also think time limits have been set for everything. All the countries and 3 letter agencies supporting them have had enough

Just take the frustration we all feel with Iraq’s slow progress and put it on government and economic leaders in the world and you get a sense of the real picture and the plans these organizations have for Iraq. But most of Iraq’s leaders are corrupt and profiting from the auctions and on the take with Iran and others. It’s time it stops.

  2. The next POTUS will be 47 and no, it won’t be Trump. Ya’ll delusional if you think Trump is “secretly in charge behind the scenes” or “coming back to take over during [insert crisis here]” He is losing in the polls to Desantis. Biden won’t run again.

My money is on a Desantis vs Newsome ‘24 election and an RV before then, so it won’t much matter who wins cause I’ll be on some beach somewhere.

they think the value of the Iraqi dinar will now be stable against the US dollar.

They THINK. I’m not convinced it will stay stable until it is at .10 to $1 or better, internationally traded and the only currency used in Iraq. Everyone wants one currency. Get rid of the damn dollar.

  4. I’m reading through a lot of news posts that are getting me fired up! I wish I had time to reply on all of them. Talks with Washington, Iraq is determined to pass HCL, exchange rate stability talk, Iraq buying LOTS of Gold!

Something big has got to come of all this news and mounting pressure. Believe! RV/RI 2023!!!

the reduction will be useless to the market and the citizen and will benefit exchange companies, brokers and speculators.”

"Even if the exchange rate of the dinar rises temporarily, it will fall again

It is feared that such a small change to 1350-1400 won’t work. Unless…it is also combined with the project to delete the zeros. That is our hope, right? Go RV!!!

77% of the issued currency is with the people and no one can withdraw it from them because of the lack of confidence in the banking system, so the decline in the central bank's sales of dollars means that it does not have the dinar, and we will face a problem

The Iraqi’s prefer holding physical Dinars over Dollars or depositing in the bank. I hope for their sake, and ours, the CBI finally implements the project to delete the zeros and revalues their currency on par with other Middle East countries. Let’s start with Kuwait and then negotiate from there. 😎

  7. Talk about occupying another country and imposing our will.

I’m certainly pro America, but the Bush doctrine of exporting freedom was a bust…great intentions, but these people don’t really care about freedom especially most of their leaders. We spent billions if not a few trillion over there since 2003 and what do we have to show for it? A country who loathes USA presence or influence. I know most of our troops are gone, but through sanctions and political pressure, we still have our boot on their neck.

I don’t understand all the complexity involved, but what I do gather is Iraq does not want to be under our thumb any longer. It’s a pride thing, they want to be their own country with their own strong single currency. I don’t blame them. I live in California where the government has its thumb on you in every facet of life. (I just registered a 1991 full size van we use as a beach mobile for kayaks, surfboards, paddle boards, etc.  and it cost me $400+ in fees…wtf!)

    Jus RV the currency already!!!
