Most of the world is unaware of the Iraqi Dinar as an investment and know nothing of a possible reinstatement or RV—they think it a hoax. We who follow it and look forward to it happening will benefit. If I told my friends about it, they would not believe and would not purchase any (I’ve tried). I don’t think Iraq talking about changing the rate will bring many more into the Dinar world. I am amazed they are so open about changing the rate right now. It might make some of us buy more, but won’t change the volume purchased in a significant way. ACTUALLY changing the rate will get the attention of the world, but then it will be too late. I’ve been in this for 13 years. We are in a great position right now. Better than ever.

Oil. Oil prices are a little down compared to earlier in the year. Probably the main reason for a drop in rate.

I agree with sonny1! I have been looking to verify this in the mainstream media here in the US. But I realized it is a big holiday weedend and all the lazy journalists are on vacation! We will see this in the mainstream news outlets tomorrow or perhaps later tonight. When you consider the snails pace the Iraqi government operates, things are happening at lightning speed for them! Shouldn't be long now.

These type of articles keep us going in circles. I'm sure some big things will happen eventually. . . hopefully as soon as end of June, but time will tell. There are a lot of scenarios, and if we knew for sure which scenario it would be, it wouldn't be a speculative investment.

The last 50+ years of war and strife over Israel is all a prelude to the last great war (Armageddon) in the valley of Megiddo which is appox. 50 miles north of Jerusalem. Several times the valley of Megiddo was the scene of violent and crucial battles during Old Testament times (Judges 5:19; 2 Kings 9:27; 23:29). A great and final conflict taking place just before the second coming of the Lord is called the battle of Armageddon because it will be started in the same locale and will be decisive. John foretells in Revelations 11 of two witnesses (prophets) who will defend Jerusalem during this battle for forty and two months (2 1/2 years). They will use the power of God as did Moses to defend the people of Israel. They will have power to send plagues and pestilences upon all who will be gathered against Israel at that time which will be most of the world. After the forty and two months, the armies of Gog and Magog will overpower them and kill them. Their bodies will lie in the streets for 3 and 1/2 days while their enemies rejoice over their deaths. They will then be resurrected and their enemies will fear. Then is the time that Christ shall appear (see Zech 14) and fight for his people. As he stands on the mount of olives east of Jerusalem, it will cleave in two and make passage for Israel to flee to safety. Then all who fought against Israel will be destroyed at the Second Coming of the Lord, who will then usher in His Millenial reign on the earth. Zechariah prophesied: 8 And in that day shall the Lord defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; . . . 9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. ---Zechariah 12:8-9 Jesus himself prophesied in Matthew 24:4-8 4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ, and shall deceive many. 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. Do we not see these things coming to pass right before our eyes? The fate of Israel and all other nations is known unto God and some of the details have been foretold for thousands of years. The short of it is: We shouldn't be troubled or surprised as all of this unfolds over the coming years. It was prophesied to come to pass and it will. Sure I disagree strongly with Obama's "new stance on Israel", but he is just a pawn in a much larger picture. I hope some of you who believe will reread these accounts in the Bible. Peace

What are you crazy? We can't control our own borders, let alone a war torn country with radical Islam at every side! Polititians are to blame and not the military, but still! How bout lets get our country in order!

I decided to post this because I have noticed an increasing amount of people declaring they are "tired of the wait" or have "lost faith in this investment". I read a lot of posts and comments daily on DV and have seen some wild stuff as have many of you. Let's get right to it. There are 2 kinds of people getting out of this investment: 1. The first category: CALM and QUIET. The reasons for this person jumping off the train are many. Perhaps money is tight and they must sell to feed their families. Maybe they decide a Big Screen TV or a down payment on a car would be a better use of their money. Some get confused by all the rumors and are tired of the weekend predictions that never come to pass. Perhaps they have a friend that makes fun of them for having invested, so for these and many more scenarios this category of people decide to bail---calmly and quietly they find a dealer or someone they know that will give them the best deal and they cash out. This person may have invested years ago and paid little and are making a small percentage. 2. The second category: FRANTIC WHINERS. The reasons for this person bailing are much fewer. Mostly, these people invest way too much faith in this intel or that guru and become highly emotional about the timing for the RV. Each time a predicted date goes by without any change, they become more despondent or angry until finally they throw in the towel! We've seen their posts! Usually they find some negative news or rumor to prove to the rest of us that we are wrong and have been lied to---it's all a big hoax! They can't go quietly and everyone MUST know how they feel, as if that would validate their feelings. I could go on, but you understand. Here is the point: This is a speculative investment in a currency with very low risk and very high potential returns. If you are considering bailing on the investment, think about this: You paid approx. $1000 US dollars per 1 Million Iraqi Dinar and you could sell it right now for about the same if you shop around, so what is there to whine about? If you bought too much, sell some of it. Don't become a FRANTIC WHINER. WE DON'T CARE. This is an investment, not life.
