I've done a lot of research on dreams (some with my eyes open). Numbers are usually highly symbolic (e.g. some of the numbers in Daniel's dreams), or if the numbers aren't symbolic, the thing to which they refer often is (the butler's three cups, the baker's three baskets; both represented days). Sometimes they are just homophones (don't stumble on that one), and refer to words that sound the same. That's my preferred interpretation of the dream (I didn't say the right interpretation, just my preferred one):
Interpretation: 1-4-3/one-for-three
Application: One dinar for three dollars, or one dollar for three dinars. I'm betting most of us would be happily stunned by the former, but gladly accept the latter.
Just one minor caveat. Our own desire for something can skew our interpretations. Too bad, I liked that one.

It was bouncing back and forth to 1166 and 1190 last week; however this week it is slowly going down — 1158, 1153.. I have an XE app

Weird. Typically I try to click on the app once a day just to check, perhaps I've missed a couple days.
Either way, I hope it's temporary! Went in the wrong direction!

It went from the usual 1160 to 1198.50.
That is NO USD fluctuation.

Had a dream the dinar RVed at $1.43. I guess a dream is as good as some of these guru's predictions.

What part of this being the RUMOR SECTION does some don't understand. If you don't like RUMORS (Stories usually based in NON-FACTUAL or UN-PROVEN statements) need to stay away from this section and stick with the NEWS. When a friend tells you a story do you have to have written proof of there story every time or are you always going to call them a Lyer because you don't have some proof of there story???

Dr. J called it in October 2010 (over 2 years ago) that the dinar wouldn't RV till late 2012, looking late November into December..
As much as I didn't want to wait that long, I believed them more than the gurus who screamed every week. Well since 2012 has come and gone, it would really be nice to have an update on the situation.
Has anyone heard anything from Dr. J?

I know typically Ohio is one that is a swing state. I haven't looked to see if they were for O or Romney... but all I can say is I of course voted for Romney, along with my family.
My heart breaks for this country... The next 4 years are going to be extremely scary. A lot of trusting in God, for sure!-

Hey guys, I just wanted your personal opinions on this.
My brother-in-law I guess was recently short on cash, so he took some of his Dinar back to the original bank that he bought it at and they wouldn't accept it or buy it back from him.
The bank is 5/3. My husband and I bought our Dinar there too. The bank manager, when we bought it 2 1/2 years ago was really friendly, helpful with information, and more the day we first bought it. So needless to say, I was rather surprise that he told me this.
What are your thoughts?

these are truly exciting times for us non-iraqi investors. i'm so grateful to God that i didn't miss out on this opportunity of a lifetime. i don't know what will come of all of this for no one can predict the future. one thing i can say is that i did everything in my little power to position myself for a blessing. i did not bury my talents. the rest is up to The Lord for He provides the increase.

Wow, I might be mistaken, but it seems like a lot of people are implying that I am supplying a reason for the "delay"!
That would make sense, except for one small FACT: I have never given a DATE that the RV would be announced.
I have ALWAYS told people to be patient and in fact to EXPECT delays.
This is just another of those delays, and I am not surprised NOR am I disheartened even a little!
Here's an analogy:
I am a boater, and when I take my boat out, I look at the weather.
Bad weather = danger, good weather = awesome.
Iraq is in a "boat" in my opinion... if they RV when a storm is threatening, their boat could capsize and they all drown... and WE DO TOO.
But if they wait for good weather, then things are much more likely to go well.
Is Iran, Libya, or London inside of Iraq? NO! But is a storm on the horizon a threat to a boater? MAYBE.
This thing is too big to take needless chances, and if an obvious storm is threatening... a smart sailor waits.
But once the sea is fairly quiet, despite the fact that we *may* get new storms, if you have a delivery to make... you take the chance.
Right now we are looking at the tail-end of a possible storm.
I hope it passes, but I'm not going to Blindly Hope that Captain Iraq sails into Obvious Danger.
And I am excited to see Captain Iraq sail victoriously into Cape Success.
Even further... I am prepared to WAIT for that glorious day, because I don't think I am Entitled to Everything Yesterday.

Hi everyone,
I'm just curious. Has anyone read or heard any update on Dr. J. He/She hasn't posted anything since May. And they were the one who said in October 2010 that there wouldn't be an RV till late 2012. Hope they're still right... I am just looking for some hope. My husband and I really need this RV, there are no jobs available at all. And Bravo11 and AC are calling no RV in 2012.

I think this deal may be done, too many articles stating optimism as to this actually happening in the very near future. Thanks Yota. Say when does hunting season begin? If I remember correctly you will be missing in action from the news room while you hunt for game.

God knows we really need the money right now.. Thanks for the post yota! It is interesting to hear Bravo and AC both say no RV in 2012 though....

At least he isnt calling the rv every week for the past years. as far as the rv is concerned...hes been 100% accurate. of course..no one wants to hear no rv.

Hi Adam! First time asking a question.
(so please be gentle!)
Anyway, in the past 2 weeks according to XE I have seen the dinar fluctuate not only in the matter of a day but also hours - from 1165 to 1200, to 1144 to 1182, to 1152.
What are your thoughts on this?
