From a liberty and moral perspective, being in control of your own money... to freely invest, spend, hire, and support others... is always the more pragmatic and productive approach to "stimulating" the economy. When taxes are lowered, this freedom becomes all the more powerful... especially to the producers and employers of this country. The "reward" for making money is the reward for many...

Thank you for your advice.... I do read everything on here, and of course the "articles" that are most "newsworthy". My only concern, of which you also referenced, is the difficulty in understanding the translations. We all do the best we can to grasp what truth we can out of them, but combine that with the prospect of "misinformation" being included... and we are left to believe only what makes sense to us individually... and that, of course varies. So.... that's where the discussions and opinions provide a lot of contrast and validation. So.... I'll take "my own word for it", no one elses.

Again, I made no value assessment of your post, one way or another. I believe we are all accurate about our individual perspectives about discussions. Perhaps we just have a different idea of what a discussion is... and that's fine. Personally my expressions are submitted very objectively, and without knowing any specific outcome... I refrain from speaking in absolutes. I look forward to gaining more insight from all substantive posts... yours included.

I'm not sure how you function without discussion... but I'm certain 99.9% of us here engage in discussion, hence the forums. For the record, I have no idea of what will happen... As I am not really religious by any means... I do not ignore the reality of individuals' belief systems. Rather, I accept them and admire their faith. The one thing I've learned about "believers", is that you cannot separate their faith from their lives... their daily lives. It is part of them and comforts them... their decision making, their planning, and their reactions. Good for them! If that's not how you function... good for you! But to suggest a "separation", is in itself unthinkable to the faith-minded... as unthinkable as an "attachment" might be to the rest. Believers... enjoy your faith, in this investment.. and all.

Absolutely!!! And a sense of shame helps with the humility. A serious dose of Poise & Patience typically keeps foot out of mouth!!! Enjoy your day!

We're on the same page... I will say, though, that the antidote to stupidity is education. So, excusable or not, it's the responsibility of the "enlightened" to express their message in the hopes of educating. And, remember... one person's "stupidity" is often another's validation. They may think you're just as stupid, from their perspective. Only reasonable discussion and debate can clarify the differences... hence my requests... We're good!
