I'm curious how to reconcile the above articles with the appreciation of the Dinar against the USD since its introduction in 2004. The Dinar appreciated from a value of 4,000 per USD to now 1166. Isn't this increase of value greater that the 50% that the author stated?

Thanks for the posts, Luigi. My guess is that its gotten quiet out there, first because of pilgrimages taking away so many members of parliament and then the observance of Eid al-Adha. Several members have posted about negotiations going on in private. Your guys will probaby start picking up stuff again after the 20th or so. Again thanks for the posts.. Dennis
