Pilgrim, I know you don't want any opinions but I would say NO ONE in the Iraqi government has ANY power over the rate. That is the power of the IMF and CBI, just as no one in the US congress has any power over the value of the dollar. Just the IMF, and the Federal Reserve control that. Have to separate the bankers from the law makers, two different entities. As for the contracts, good luck. I am a business owner, and I would not show my contracts to anyone. That would be like showing your hand in a poker game. Sorry, just my thoughts. WM13

C'mon Man! Everybody CHILL OUT! I doesn't matter what you write on this site, how much research you do, it has NOTHING to do with YOU. (or anyone else for that matter). Be thankful for others who do more research than you. Invest time in what you will do with the "cash-in" to have the most benefit you can from it. It will happen when it happens. In God's time. In the words of Bono (U2), "time is irrelevant, it's not linear", everybody relax, pray that this happens soon and how you can help others with what you make with this investment. Family first, friends second, and then others. It will happen, no one knows when (other than the world bankers). "Money" is NOT the point, it is all bogus anyway. If you don't understand that, you really need to do some research into "this system" we are all in. What counts is how you treat others. How you think and act toward other people. May your thoughts be positive, don't bash people and find real intel and news stories to post. (Judge not for you will be judged by how you judge others.) God Bless!

Just had a thought while watching the news. Packages were sent to be delivered to Chicago, and planes stopped at Philadelphia. These are two cities that Obama is to visit in the next couple of days. ? Is there a connection? RiverStyx, that made me think of Train's song Idaho. RichNick, Just thinking rationally on the logistics, The brigade had their deployment ceremony today (according to the news article listed). This would mean they would have to immediately board planes fly to Iraq, and arrive Saturday, leaving one day to deploy to the banks, (with jet lag) and be ready for Monday? Just sayin'... I know about the Nov. 1 release, could that be delayed? I think it might be, who knows. I believe (if the troops) are needed for security, they are going to need more time. Just my thoughts. WM13

WDG, They have resumed their auctions over the last few days from what I been seeing. I just go to the CBI website My link and pretty much just disregard what news agencies say. I would trust the bank site before anything else. Just my thoughts. Not sure what they reported on the 26th. Don't think it will have any effect on things in Iraq. But your comment about you fear this is just the beginning. I believe attacks will ramp up here, may not be "the place" to be anymore. I love it here, born here, served the country, etc. But I don't like where we are headed that's for sure.
