Yes, to that article a few years back where the GOI & CBI said they wanted to get the IQD to $1.37 or something. This 3 year budget has set the official rate for the IQD at $1300. So it is set . Only through an amendment can they change the rate. Is that a Parliamentary amendment or a CBI amendment? How is it that these 2 government bodies work when it comes to setting the rate, now?

One additional point of order. Currency reset was known within 5 years of our getting into this. We didn't know that our government co-opted all mainstream media outlets , and folding them into their propaganda machine. Then telling the people BRICS, de-dollarization of the usd - worldwide, it will never happen. Well it has happened, the US Gov and mainstream media all lied to us. That all needs to be replaced in 2024 folks. Vote them out or start calling everyone comrade.

Like what? Like dropping 3 zeros from the 1300 rate? That wld make better sense, and it wouldn't immediately flush all the financial, economic, and political gains the GOI has achieved , right down the toilet. If they lop, that would make doing business in Iraq very unstable. IMHO

Again, I don't know if this question has been addressed. I have heard the rumor that the mechanism for the IQD to rv, float or otherwise, was in the 3 year budget proposal that's being negotiated. I also heard that in this budget has a mechanism that the rate will be the rate, and that when the budget is passed that this rate won't be able to be changed for 5 years. Are either questions true or false ? What say you DV-land people ?

Didn't, when they initially came out with the new IQD; didn't it sort of take off. In fact it was so popular that it forced the exchange rate up quickly. Which was the reason the US dumpped beau coup more US $$$ in Iraq to keep IQDs value down. Down so the GOI can "rebuild Iraq on the cheap." So why isn't it taking off now?

Well then use Iraq's digital IQD to purchase cars ! That will work. Iraq must vastly increase the velocity, the use, of the IQD if the citizens of Iraq are to increase their purchasing power. Besides, no domestic economy is "stable" if it has competition within its borders with another countries currency. Growing pains my friends.
