And you know why 'we've been getting screwed for 100 years'? Because we have been and still are too lazy to get educated. Because we're supposed to be the richest country in the world, we haven't cared enough to demand 'schools educate us about things financial. We've been 'fat, dumb and happy'. And now we're not. How much do any of us know about the Fed? Do most of us know they are a private entity, not part of the government? Do you know they charge us interest to borrow money from them and that never pay taxes??? Do we know who controls the Fed (which is our central bank) and the central banks in most of the industrialized countries? If we did you would know that our President who is supposed to be the most powerful person in the world, really isn't. Most of us have never wondered why we're not taught in school how 'money really works'. We're not taught for a reason. There are a few books out there that have attempted to educate us but who has cared to read them? One of those books, by the way is 'The Creature From Jeckyll Island'. I recommend you read it, then you wouldn't be surprised that 'we've been getting screwed for 100 years'. How many of us really protest anymore? We *****, moan and groan but when was the last time we got in our politicians' face like they still do in France? Our pol's don't fear us and know they can pretty much as they please. Check out Congress' pension plan, it's ridiculous buy they want us to pay the price for their overspending. How about we ask them to lower their salary and take less of a pension so that we could all share the pain of fixing this country. I could go on but why?
