Completely agree..... there is now way Iraq give a rats a$$ about the US.... any way shape or form.... and for anyoine to say they want to help us out is dreaming... heck... they don't even want to help out their own people let alone help out anyone else in the world... the corruptions is something else... This is true, but, since Iraq hasn't made that much progress with issues surrounding Kuwait's missing bodies, archives, and monies owed to them by Iraq, Kuwait is not going to sign off on Ch7... and the santions just keeps on going, and going and going...

I don't think the US has anything to do with the RV... but with Iraq now trying to make amends and finally get things done, it's probable, it may go into January. Just takiin' it day by day... Iraq still has a lot to accomplish before it's over.

With all the ?information? flying around, Maliki getting slapped by Moon and a 6 month extension on sanctions and threatened with more if he doesn't get his act together. Going back to Iraq running around like a chicken with it's legs cut off, meeting with the GOI on resolving issues, meeting with Kuwait to try and resolve those issues (Monies owed, lost bodies, antiquities etc), I don't think Iraq can possibly get all this done and RV within the next few days. The past has shown Iraq has RV'd on the last working Thursday of a month, unless the Thursday was a one of their holidays then it was on the Wednesday. With that, Iraq has two (2) weeks left until the 29th, last working day of the month AND, E.O.Y. Why would any business or country RV this close to the end of the year with so much to get finished. It would be logical to wait until the 29th - 31st to RV, 30th religeous day, 31st their play day, and January 1st the first working day of the Year and theri work month. Contracts would be fine and Maliki would have the two weeks to try and get his $..t together. Then of course Monday the 2nd is a US holiday not to mention how many other countries. Iraq would have 1 to 2 days in country playing around with the new rate and possibly new lower denominations. You know the currency with Arabic, Kurdish and English on it... Makes sense to me but I am not a guru, only been at this for 4.5 years... and worked in Iraq for 2 years plus. all this time the Iraqis have done nothing that is logical or makes sense... Just my humbled opinion... they just need to "pull the trigger" so relax and have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year...

It's arabic, a lot of the notes bought in Iraq off the venders had writing on them, according to the merchants, the notes with writing or torn - the bank takes away 2 or 3 of the dinar when deposited. This came from the vendors from FOB Normandy... now shut down about 19 months ago. That's their way of doing business. They would always try and give the US military or contractors those bills in with what they sold, kept the good ones for themselves.
