Its so easy to say its not going to happen soon when something gets delayed. I can see your point. However, I have not seen a link or article or anything stating that Iraq thinks they are too unstable to form a govt or that they are not commited. Although I agree that this could very well go on and on and on. There is no proof that will show it taking much longer. This is all on the formation. Lets hope for the best and keep our cool.

I went to xe.com and when the page opened up the IQD was listed there. I don't remember if it has always been on the home page or not. I'm sure it is nothing, but I swore that I actually had to hunt to find the IQD on that site.

I can't help but think they are sitting on this. I have this nagging in the back of my head telling me that they have everything lined up and ready to go, but they are just taking their time exposing it. I really feel that something will be done before this meeting and until this meeting gets postponed or canceled, I think we are right on track. Something has to give sooner or later. This is starting to llok like a great cover up for what is really happening. Time will tell.

Great post. I just hope that whatever the power sharing is divided at that it is agreed by both so this doesn't drag out longer than needed.

I heard rumors that the smart cards were to be loaded today. Has anyone heard anything about them. I realize that the news from Iraq could take a while to get to us. I guess what I am asking is are they any boots on the ground that are hearing anything about it? That being said, also I do not yet see if the rate was put on paper for the UN to get it in for the operational rate change, or anything on wether Maliki has came forth with his govt. Again I know that these articles might surface throughout the day, but I tend to beleive the boots on the ground rather than the govt. owned news. Patience is not one of my virtues . Thank for the post.. It is very encouraging that they are still working on it yet today and not stalling till another date. Things are still looking good and I think we are right there.

While I agree that they may not be ready to RV yet. You can't deny that they might not have a choice. There are bigger issues out there other than Iraq becoming a stable enough country to revalue their currency. The European nations are in dire straits. They are so close to collapsing financially. Now that being said... Iraq DOES NOT have the money right now to become stable. They already blew the funds for Widows and farmers and now are asking for more money. The IFM is saying "not today, you show me a currency that you can pay us back with and we will talk". Now that brings us back to Iraq not having any choice. They either do it or fail as a counrty. The IMF cant help all of them right now. So the clock is ticking in Iraq and they were given a choice. Which way they go is up to them... But, like I said... I agree that they are not ready for it yet.

I have been wondering for a while now what will be the first tell tale sign of the RV actually happen. Some have said watch Forex or the CBI website. Some have even said by the govt announcing it themselves. If any one has some good intel on what to be watching in the coming days, it would be much appreciated. Also if someone could tell me what Forex site to watch ( as there seems to be many) that would be great. You all have been patient and very helpful in your own ways and i hope we all can benefit from this once in a lifetime opportunity in our own little ways. those dates at the end seem to be from last year as they are a day behind. not sure what that means but.

It is pretty obvious that no one will really know for sure what is going to happen. Which is probably why most people dont give out thier sources of intel or make predictions. Everything that has been predicted is done so with speculation. They may however, produce articles and links, but it only backs up a speculation. That being said... there is no real reason to bash anyone or for that matter to back up someone that is being bashed. Nobody is going to get it right by knowing for sure. Somebody will eventually stumble on the right date, but until it happens, lets please try to take these posts and rumors for what they are. They are opinions. They may have come from credible contacts or from your gut instict, but they are still opinions. i welcome anyones opinion and their reasoning behind it. i will not however bash a person for trying to help us out. On the other hand there has been a few out there that post bad info just to get people riled up. May god have mercy on their souls. Although i agree that Iraq is not nearly stable enough govt wise to have an RV, I believe that they really have no choice. I would like to believe that it would eventually do it down the road. I cant get past the thought of all these companies and governments signing contracts and getting paid with a currency that is pretty much worthless right now. Plus the US has to start making good on this whole " the war will pay for itself " thing. Im sure China also wants some compensation out of this in a hurry and last but not least... the people of Iraq will not stand there with one of the wealthiest countries in the world and have one of the lowest currencies. Yes they need to restructure their govt and country as a whole, but this is going to take money and no one is going to do it for peanuts..... Just my opinion.... we are having the same issue...where?? We are in WI...the closest dinar trade to us is in TN unless a satellite place does get set up somewhere closer...then, its ..do we want to wait? do we care if we lose a little more just going to a bank locally? etc etc etc....decisions, decisions...lol would it really be that much better flying to Iraq?

I definately think something could happen tommorow. I personally think that the govt will announce sometime early next week followed shortly after with the announcement of the RV later that week. But I could and would rather see it happen sooner to aleviate some of the stress. God Bless all and Go RV.

It seems very odd that there is not one person with the knowledge of what is going on over there. They are so crooked that there would have to be someone who would have spilled the beans for the right price. This is a re-valuation of a currency here not invasion plans to attack a country. Granted that some problems could occur if the info were to get leaked out, but again, someone over there would do it for the right price. I keep hearing that "someone heard it from thier contact ". I don't want hearsay, I want to see the info that the contact is basing this rumor on. i will admit that I do not do any reasearch on here other than check some sites. I am one of those people who tend to believe most of the stuff that is posted in here (good or bad). i just want to know if there is anyone out there who can share info with proof. For example (video, audio, news article or link). Lots of people on here have been dead on and some have stuck thier necks out there. I applaud all of you for believing and trying. It gives the little people like me hope. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. none of us will ever get a chance like this again. So i know I will hit my knees and pray when it happens because it would be one of the greatest blessings ever. Keep bringing us info everyone and sorry about my rant.
