As the time goes by it is harder and harder to believe we will see a return in this investment. Now there are contracts being signed and debts being paid and work already in process in Iraq. One can only wonder how will they pay for all this. I can't help but think we ( the investors) are the ones who are paying for these contracts and budget with our US Dollar that we keep pumping in to Iraq. They do not seem to be worried about any consequences and are determined to not let anyone push them around. I thought that with such a huge budget, they would need to revalue, but they will probably just pay for it with oil. I don't know much about this, but the closer we got to getting the check list of things to be done, the more it looked like they had no intention of revaluing. I will still hold on and keep praying and hope that even if I don't become rich that at least Iraq becomes a great country so that our losses from the US don't go for nothing.

I've invested in the Dinar in Dec of 2009 back when they were for certain going to RV and I didn't want to miss out on the opportunity. Since then I have spent almost every day at least 1 or 2 hours reading articles and spending time on chat waiting for someone like Scooter to make my day a little better. Lately I have been taking longer and longer breaks in between my article reading time. One thing I have noticed is this is just like a soap opera. You can not watch it for a month and when you come back to check on it it is excactly where you left off and you didn't miss a thing. Now obviously some important things have happened and the recent riots and restless natives could cause this thing to accelerate, but I have found that sitting here glued to my computer is not affecting it at all. Take time to breathe people and just enjoy the fact that this will happen wether it be soon or not. Another thing, please take all posts with a grain of salt. It is so much easier to read a rumor post without all negative Nancy's putting it down. Why not just keep it to your self unless you can prove it wrong. I really like this site and the people on it. Lets go on living our life and have peace knowing that our money is not going anywhere but up in value. I pray Iraq can get something together and swallow some of thier pride and differences for the people so that they don't go from a terrorist war to a civil war. God bless them and all of you. Go RV!!!!!

I also have wondered about this. It seems that Iraq is in no hurry to help their country. Not only is the newly elected government starting to fall apart, but the state of the country itself is not improving. There was a short period of time right after they announced the government that the bombing and killing has been to a minimum. Now 1 month later it seems to be picking up. It seems nothing is stable in Iraq right now and if they were to revalue and not be ready for all possabilities of what could happen, the country of Iraq could implode. This is the thing that scares me. I really need this to happen, but fear that it will be a while before they can justify safely revaluing the Dinar. I hope they get it together, or at least hope that all the negative things we are hearing are all smoke and mirrors. Not matter what happens I will wait forever for this opportunity. It's time for me to really start planning alternative avenues for getting out of the hole i'm in. Good luck to you all.

While I appreaciate the post and your thoughts, there are just as many speculative thoughts and facts that point to your theory as there is for the theory of it being possible. While you may be good with math and economics, you do no work for the govt of Iraq and are in their meetings, and have no idea what their plans are. Not bashing, just stating that everything is speculative. EVERYTHING.

I've been an investor in the dinar since middle of 2009 and I had no clue there was even any forums about this till middle of 2010. I would always call my Uncle and ask him what the new news was. Christmas came around in 2009 and everyone was certain it would happen within days. I was so excited and started making plans for how I could make this investment last me for the rest of my life. Then months went by and there were spotty rumors here and there which had good intel to back them up. (Excluding TK). So I decided to get an account and hop on chat and check it out. The people there are very friendly and helpful, and the Mods run a very professional site IMO. All of a sudden the unthinkable happened and the PM was announced. The flood gates opened and Pumpers rejoiced. It used to be kinda easy to tell the difference between someone blowing smoke up your %$# or someone giving real intel. Now (without a lie detector) it is nearly impossible to decipher between BS and intel. I'm realize there are many people who have been invested in this much longer than me. When I first invested in this, we had the extra money to buy the Dinar. Now, a year and a half later we are starting to get real tight with our finances. My question is who out here is in the same boat with me and if so what are you doing to cope with it. I tell my self I'm not going to check the site today, but it always fails. We are so close to cashing it back in to catch up on bills, but so afraid it will happen after that. Now I see articles about the budget not being readi till Feb. It just seems never ending.

What the heck is a watermelon in Iraq. It obviously is not a large melon that is greatly consumed in the summer time in the US.

No wonder that they are pissed off. This country needs to click on the hyper drive and get some relief to their people. I applaud the progress that they have made, however it seems they have stalled again.

People don't get bashed for opinions typically.
You get bashed for making inflamatory statements
from a position of percieved authority, with no basis or
back up for either.
It is irresponsible any way you slice it and potentially harmfull
to noobs that haven't been suckered yet.
I never saw the original post but I bet this is what was going on.
I would have to agree to a certain degree here. It is way too easy to post a date of when it is not going to happen. And if you do, please have some kind of intel of proof of why not. We always demand a link or reason for why people say it will happen on a certain date. Why not hold the people to the same standards if they claim it wont happen.

Everyone should use their own judgment when reading something with no hard proof. This is all hear say from both sides. I am in no way saying that they are lying. But please people, we have seen first hand what a pumper can do. These people could be in Iraq or they could not be. I read the info and thank the people for sharing. Only Sonny1 knows if he is avoiding the topic. That being said, we keep losing to focus on taking this info with a grain of salt. Keep the faith.
