KAMM MY HUSBAND HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND SENT AN EMAIL HE GOT A FAST REPLY FROM THEM THEY ARE STILL WORKING ON UPDATING THEIR PROGRAMS BUT THEY RE-ACTIVATED HIS CARD AND IT WORKS FINE NOW

This is good news, Iraq joined the WTO (World Trade Organization) several days ago, the government is in place, and putting a value on the Iraqi currency is in progress my husband just recieved this from a friend in iraq that he worked with and thought i would pass it along

The Iraqi government is gradually coming together and they are really pushing for the economy to be put on the market yes, possibly prior to 2011 quoted by the Department of Economy of Iraq and the US sent down several groups to assist in doing so, it is possible for it to be put on the market soon. As far as having the lower denominations yes, it is ready but not until the currency is on the market because it is like going to the store and having 500,000 dinars (small denomination) to pay for the item when it could be paid for in the large bills it will be reversed so, everything will happen at once. I have heard more of the ISX from the Iraqi government that there are quite a few investors purchasing stocks in companies and the investments were heavy in the construction, telecommunications, and energy. The way it looks it could be put on the market anytime. By-the-way, there are negative reports also going out that the currency was going to replaced and what we have was no good, this is not true and it did not come from the Iraqi government, the currency is going to be added to what is out there and replacing the larger bills with the smaller denominations. This is just a discouragement. I will wait till it goes on the market. i kust went to my bank of america bank here in florida and they said they don't have the machine they use a catalogue
