My brother just got back from 4 weeks in ME...Iraq, Kuwiat, Israel and Egypt. He is in banking industry and said that he's not heard or seen any evidence at any level in any of the afore mentioned countries that Iraq is close to RVing the dinar to any rate, let alone a penny, 86 cents, $1 or $3.22! Everything he has been exposed to says the banking system in Iraq is still in need of massive change....corruption runs rampant and the common citizen uneducated when it comes to banking sophistication such as electronics and world economics. The majority of these poeple have their hands full making it from day to day. Worrying about the future of their currency means when and how will they get their hands on some cash? The majority of people still don't have reliable/consistant basic services, unemployment is very high, the GOI is as corrupt as it comes (my brother copuld not believe how corrupt it actually is) Maliki wants everything his way at any cost, major international contractors are leaving the country because of the corruption and red tape that make a lot of jobs that should be very lucrative, instead a break even proposition at best. My question....In light of everything happening over the past year are your sources still telling you that the RV is emminent, meaning has good chance to take place within next 12 months?

Adam....only $12, not $120...well that makes it even worse. But you really didn't answer my question.....if the GOI thinks the poor can get by on $12 a month, why do you think they are willing to give them much more because of an RV. The $12 indicates they don't want to share the wealth....they are happy to see the poeople struggle just as long as they get theirs. We already know Iraq is one of the top 5 corrupt countries if not the top country based on the oil money pot they have available to steal from. What am I missing that you see or the behind the scenes actions you have access to that I don't that gives you the confidence that that bunch of thieving, power hungry, hate filled controlling factions want to make it better for everyone, not just themeselves and their specific followers?

Adam....Regarding the story stating that the GOI wants to eliminate the ration cards and just give cash to the citizens every month, they were talking about $120 per month is what they would get. My question.....do you see a government that believes $120 a month is enough for each citizen, RVing to a rate that would significantly increase the wealth of those same citizens? :lmao: Obama got nothing to do with the RV, nor does Rockefeller or Rothschild. No RV for at least 2 years, but 10 is looking much more realistic. If you think it is going to RV to any significant amount (say anything over a penny) before Jan 1, 2014....name your price and it's a bet. Don't make it too hard on yourself, I've won every bet (at least 20) to date regarding RV deadlines that have come and gone.

I agree with a lot of the sentiment here....except the part where he says that if someone other than Maliki were in power, this would be over The country is fraut with corruption, Maliki is by no means the only crook in town. None of those so called leaders of the various 3 parties want to share the wealth with the other 2 parties. They want to keep it all for themselves. Each party is only acting in their own best interest. Unless the united people of Iraq stand up for real change, nothing is going to happen with the dinar. They've got real problems over there, like trying to stay alive from day to day....sharing the wealth with everybody is so far from what the powers to be want, it's not even funny. NOT in 10 christmas's......sorry, but there will be no RV for a long time. Look at the facts..... 1. Maliki power hungry mad....wants to control GOI and CBI. Why would he RV to make the people better off financially. That would mean less control over the population, while he strives for more control every day. 2. Still no completely seated GOI...unbelievable 3. Still no HCL in place.....unbelievable 4. Still under chapter 7 santions.....ridiculous and unbelievable 5. Exxon wants out of Iraq.....why would an oil company want out of one of the biggest oil reserve spots on the planet? 6. None of the 3 parties in Iraq really want to work together.....instead they constantly bicker and hold up any real change policies from being enacted because they are looking out for their own interests, not the good of the country. 7. This new democracy is a joke.....Iraq's people don't know what freedom is, nor do they want to embrace it. They would rather live in the past as it suits their religious nature which is all the powers at large want. Keep the people living in the past so they can't see what the future may bring. I've worked in Iraq, too....so what. The Iraqis have been told many things for many years....and have been disappointed many many times. The Iraqis are no different than us...their politicians tell them whatever they need to tell them so they stay uninformed, complacent and defeated. For everybody who has been in this for years (5 or more) HOW MANY TIMES HAVE WE HEARD THE RV WAS EMINENT OR HAS HAPPENED....TOO MANY FOR MY LIKING, WAY TOO MANY! For those of you new comers (less than 5 years) FORGET ABOUT IT. This is the typical garbage that so many gurus are basing the 'global reset' theory on.....there is NO SUCH THING! Everyone expecting the dinar to jump in value as part of this myth should stop holding your breath, It will kill you. when the dinar revalues, if it revalues...it will be because it is the the correct action for the government of Iraq to better their trade, improve internal economics and to induce foreign investment. The only way Mitt can hit your numbers is if he wins Ohio and Florida....and all the polls say this is very very unlikely. I wish it were so, I'm a Republican and think Obama has lied to us, made things much worse for the middle class and I see no light at the end of the tunnel with him as president. However, Mitt was right when he said any Democrat starts out at 47% before any discussions are held.....that's the number of free loaders we have in this country who don't want to give up their something for nothing ideals, they get something (my hard earned tax dollar) for doing nothing (sitting around collecting extended unemployemnt, food stamps, welfare, housing assistances just to name a few). Why do Democrats support giving illegal immigrants an easy path to citizenship? because then they get their vote. Obama got 300 mexican civilians and a few police by arming them with weapons...why is this not in the mainstream news? He wants to take our guns away while he walks around with an army of men armed to the teeth to protect him. When was last time you heard of any Iraqi politician doing anything 'fast'.....if it was a short meeting, it was probably unproductive. At least that;'s what history seems to tell us?

These guys crack me up.....like I said, I know who mailman is in the flesh. This guy has no inside contacts of his own...he just plays up what he reads or hears from others, and he usually twists things way out of proportion if not just flat purposely misinterprets stuff. I just talked to 3 people from different business ventures who were in Iraq last week....all this talk of an imminant RV is just a bunch of wishful thinking. And so is this garbage about the US or anyone else getting ready to 'force' the GOI to make decisions or threaten to replace the entire GOI in order to get them to move on the RV is pure fabrication. Iraq and Maliki are doing business as usual, everything is for their benefit, being done at their own pace, all the other parties over there are still playing the same old game......in short, nothing has changed in so far as we should be expecting to see an RV anytime soon. In fact, everything indicates that nothing will happen until early next year (2013) and even that is not saying we'll see an RV then! I'm still holding to my position that we will not see any significant value increase in the dinar until 2014....at the earliest. JMHO...believe what you want, but that's my story and I'm sticking to it. It's time to tuck those dinar in a drawer, get ready for the upcoming holiday season and enjoy your life.
