I have just visited B of A today and inquired about competitive rates when cashing in the Dinar. I spoke with the manager, who claimed that she was very familiar with the Dinar and had bought some herself. She also indicated that more people are coming into her bank each day inquiring about the Dinar. She indicated that B of A will cash in at the same current rates as they do with any currancy....no special rates will be considered. We shared some information of what we have learned thru different resources. Some of it was consistent and other info was questionable. HOWEVER, as I was leaving she told me that she is hoping this investment doesn't turn out like what had happened during the Mexican Peso Crisis of 1994/95. I asked her about it and she replied that the Peso became worthless. I just don't see this happening at all with the Iraq Dinar. There just seems to be too much at stake for the country of Iraq. I did not post this to cause a grave concern or panic about our investment, but is there any out there familiar with the Crisis of the Mexican Peso of 1994/95?
