I have read varying articles that OPEC will drive the cost of oil down to the $60.00 a barrel. At that price it is no longer profitable for the USA to produce.

A 27T deficit at todays exchange rate roughly converts to $2.2B US, if my math is correct. An RV of just $.10 brings that number to $220M, that's peanuts compared to the deficits that some states in the USA are running.

Perhaps our work ethic is why muslims want to destroy the USA. I can see it now. Special legislation brought to the US House floor providing those of the muslim faith an additional 360 days a year of paid time of.

And there lies the problem. There is no national pride or patriotism in Iraq. These people are sectarian and tribal in their thinking. It appears that all they care about is what their imams tell them. In addition to this their military is rife with corruption. Enlisted personnel pay their superiors bribes in order to shirk their duties as well. This coupled with leaving a military that was not ready to fight on its own was no help either. But I'm with you. Perhaps a propaganda campaign calling them out as "kitty cats", if you catch my drift, might light a fire under them.
