Glasser at Politico clearly has an agenda to promote (though perhaps not so clear to most readers of Politico). Comments that Trump offended any religious group was clearly weighed against Trump (and inaccurate) by knowingly and intentionally omitting the words "Radical" and "Terrorist". Even the religious groups sited agree with those restrictions! I absolutely agree that many Kurds want their own country (and they may well have it some day), but it requires leaving four other countries as well as Iraq (no small task).

I also agree that the world has long seen/known Obama to have been a very weak leader, and agree his decision (against military leaders advise - and common sense) to pull out of Iraq prematurely (and discount the strength of ISIS, Egyptian politics and the entire Syrian issue - not to mention the Iran travesty) have left the Middle East in chaos and the entire world less safe and stable. History will portray him in this light.

Trump is the "Strong Horse" leader (in the words of Osama Bin Laden) that the country (and the world) will follow. Sure, Donald has his issues, but IMHO he is exactly what the US and the world need in order to stabilize and start making sense.

I am NOT politically correct, and following that directive weakens us as a country and will lead to its demise. If it weren't for Patriots that have built the US, and our political system that corrects overreach and reflects the will of its Citizens, the PC movement wouldn't even have a place to exist. Like the majority of Americans, I have had more than my fill of the 0.05%-10% of the population that feels they are "special" and as such are entitled to that which the majority of Americans have worked so hard to create.

Americans' have always protected weaker individuals and countries. There is a reason the majority of the world doesn't currently speak German.

I do believe Trump is a Patriot, and has the US best interest at heart. Being an American he certainly has a vested interest in our success. I am not aware of any "Federal Task Force" HE has. He has however instructed the Department of Justice to enforce the rules on the books.

We are a country founded on laws. Currently Federal law states Marijuana is illegal, period. A city or state can't just pass a law to allow something illegal by the Federal government, and just expect it to be ignored (like a sanctuary city or state). Trump is a huge supporter of States rights, and unlike his predecessor (Obama) he doesn't simply choose to ignore laws he doesn't agree with (just like the average American is required to obey the law). If you don't like a law, set about having it changed, and/or move to someplace where it is allwed (and not against the law). Once/if the Federal law is changed regarding Marijuana (or anything else) then the States can enact their own rules regarding it (same sex marriage, etc.) the way the US Constitution delegates powers.

Trump took an Oath to uphold the Laws of the United States. He plans on living up to that oath. (unlike the previous POTUS). :twocents:

You are right to the letter. The laws of this land have been ignored by the odummy bunch for way to long and now there is too many people who think the laws don't matter anymore. As you stated Trump is a patriot and I think he has nothing but the best for the nation in mind!!

I agree I think trump is the most sincere president ever. Even though he has unleashed his federal task force on the people of this country and is hacking smart phones en masse to bust people for marijuana sales in states where it's legal, but they are probably terrorist too

Exactly what task force are you talking about?

  3. Does anybody know who this guys is or what rock he crawled out from under.

    Semper Fi !!!

10-31-2016  RayRen98   Iraq is celebrating like crazy with the complete overtaking of Mosul.  That was on the television screens, with articles of military in downtown Mosul, etc.  Exciting!  ...my sources are saying everything is done and set, just waiting for an announcement.  I don’t know exactly what that announcement is, and in time we will learn what impact Mosul will have on this release.  It’s still earmarked to come out by the first.  If Mosul was an issue, it won’t be now based on what we are hearing and seeing. From what I understand, everything is in alignment and ready to go – we’re just waiting for the push.  There is no other information we are waiting for.

  5. This is the way to handle isis and the rest of these terrorists.Scare the living hell out of them just like Pershing did back in 1911.

Once in U.S. history an episode of Islamic terrorism was very quickly stopped.  It happened in the Philippines about 1911, when Gen. John J. Pershing was in command of the garrison.  There had been numerous Islamic terrorist attacks, so "Black Jack" told his boys to catch the perps and teach them a lesson.

Forced to dig their own graves, the terrorists were all tied to posts, execution style.  The U.S. soldiers then brought in pigs and slaughtered them, rubbing their bullets in the blood and fat.  Thus, the terrorists were terrorized; they saw that they would be contaminated with hogs' blood.  This would mean that they could not enter Heaven, even if they died as terrorist martyrs.

All but one was shot, their bodies dumped into the grave, and the hog guts dumped atop the bodies.  The lone survivor was allowed to escape back to the terrorist camp and tell his brethren what happened to the others.  This brought a stop to terrorism in the Philippines for the next 50 years.  Pointing a gun into the face of Islamic terrorists won't make them flinch.

They welcome the chance to die for Allah.  Like Gen. Pershing, we must show them that they won't get to Muslim heaven (which they believe has an endless supply of virgins) but instead will die with the hated pigs of the devil.

  6. I honestly don't know, LGD.   I sincerely hope that you are correct but if I have to wait another 6-12 months, so be it.  I am in it to the end.  I enjoy your posts and I am happy that you are ecstatic.  As for me, I will stick with cautiously optimistic!

Yep I'm with you on that.I've seen this thing go up and down more times than I care to think about but I'm not near ready to cave in.

Prosecutors Seek to Seize Assets of Iraqi Currency Dealers

    ATLANTA — Jun 11, 2015, 1:31 PM ET

Federal authorities want to seize airplanes, homes, luxury cars andbeach properties from a Georgia-based corporation dealing in Iraqi currency.

In a federal complaint, prosecutors say Atlanta-based Sterling Currency Group LLC is among the largest sellers of the Iraqi dinar in the U.S.

Prosecutors say the business is built on what they describe as a scam to defraud investors hoping to cash in on a “revaluation” of the currency.

The idea that the currency will be “revalued,” resulting in a sharp rise in its worth, “has spread throughout the Internet and is promoted by a variety of Internet blogs and individuals who hold themselves out to be currency experts or ‘dinar gurus,'” the complaint says.

Two lawyers who have represented Sterling didn’t immediately return telephone and email messages left by The Associated Press on Thursday. No one answered Thursday at the company’s phone numbers, which had recorded messages.

No arrests have been made in the case, which seeks the forfeiture of millions of dollars in assets controlled by Sterling and associated companies.

Among the assets: Two properties in the exclusive seaside community of Alys Beach in Walton County, Florida; a mansion in Atlanta; and two Mercedes-Benz cars. Prosecutors are also trying to seize a CessnaCitation and two other planes, including one that’s used to perform aerobatic stunts.

Sterling has earned more than $600 million in gross sales or receipts since 2004, prosecutors wrote in the complaint, including as much as $245 million in a single year in 2011.

The FBI and the Internal Revenue Service are investigating.

The FBI has also set up a website and hotline. Authorities are encouraging people to complete an onlinequestionnaire if they’ve been promised enormous profits from the purchase of the Iraqi dinar, as well as foreign currency such as the Vietnamese dong or Indonesian rupiah, the FBI said on the site.

In the recently unsealed, 48-page complaint, prosecutors say company representatives spread false information in predicting the dinar would rise sharply in value.

“Sterling’s business practices have included publishing information on its own website that its principals knew to be untrue and disseminating false information over the telephone,” the complaint states.

The company also told customers that it had a plan to set up kiosks or remote offices at airports around the U.S. and Canada, where its customers could bring briefcases or luggage filled with dinar to be exchanged without having to pass through security.

“Despite these representations, a former Sterling employee has confirmed that Sterling never had any arraignments with airports to operate remote satellite offices or kiosks,” the complaint states.
