  1. I'm so sorry to hear this, Capt'n Jack. Of course, I am very grateful that you wife wasn't hurt, and I am sure you are, too, but these kinds of expenses are also overwhelming--when we don't have the money to handle them. Thankfully, this RV will come quite soon, and within a few months, you'll look back at this and laugh at how dreadful it felt. But for now, my heart is with you and your wife--I know how hard it is to cope financially with unexpected events when we have so little money to see us through. But thankfully, it won't always be like this, and until then, I'll keep you in my prayers. Between now and then, be safe . . . Many blessings . . . (They're coming SOON!!!) Francie26
  2. Still here in Mid-Missouri. Read the other posts and agree that "I would highly doubt an 89 year old man whose first prediction came and passed would know the hour," although I can't figure out what his age had to do with it. Younger men haven't been able to get this one right either. haha
  3. I remember being a young girl in a small school in Arkansas, circa 1943. One day several of us girls were standing in the gym talking to the physical education teacher about what we wanted to be when we grew up. As the shyest one, I spoke last, and I said I wanted to teach college English when I grew up. I have no idea, even now, what set that woman off at me, but she turned to me and said sharply, "Frances Morgan, You'll live in Jackson, Arkansas until you die!!" I remember beng hurt first, and then thinking, "She can't tell me what I can do when I grow up!! I'll do whatever I want with my life" Many years later, I graduated with my third college degree, and really did teach English at the college level for many years. I noticed with sadness that Miss Wilson is buried in the tiny cemetary outside of Jackson, Arkansas. So I suspect she spoke to me out of the fear of that town being the end of the line for her, and it surely was. When I saw that she was buried there, I realized that people who are naysayers often end up in the very situation they complain the loudest against. As to people leaving this site and the dinar discussions, whatever . . . It is what it is. That fact is unarguable. So we have to accept that they are doing the best they can, even when their best isn't very good, and then we have to let them go and move on. I suspect these people are just scared and feel that they have more control over the situation if they spit on the rest of us. Besides, unless I've missed something, Adam isn't gone, and has no intention of going anywhere unless we go with him. I had planned to stick by Ali and genuinely gave him the benefit of the doubt, but since it is pretty clear to me now that he has been less than honest with us, I will go with Adam on cashing in and moving into the new life I want and deserve. So what if ithe RV doesn't occur until next year!! I 'll still be here wating for it when it happens, I'll also still be here after the naysayers are gone. If you are one of them, I wish you well. But I'm hanging with the people whose hopes and dreams regarding the dinar are firm and consistent, like my own. Francie26
  4. What a lovely thought!! Thank you so much!! I already have Sherri's berries, flowers, and cards, But I hadn't yet gotten an online wish for a Happy Mother's Day. Now I have it all. <bigsmile> Again, thank you!!
  5. I have ordered dinar from Ail several times, and I always received prompt, great service. Further, the few times I called his office, I was always treated with respect and courtesy, and my business requests were handled promptly. Perhaps the car accident that injured his wife and child was caused by someone trying to harm them or kidnap them then. Thinking this is not a huge stretch given that the FBI has since then warned Ali of further possible danger to his family. There have, after all, been three subsequent attempts to kidnap one of his family members. Kidnapping is a Federal offense, so the FBI has most likely been investigating these incidents, and now, for reasons we don't know, they have come to Ali and warned him of possible further dangers to his family. So it seems to me that he is simply protecting his family, as any of us would do. As to the Arkansas document, it is nothing. Such matters are simply a part of doing business and are corrected by businesses every day. It certainly isn't an omnious indication that Ali is untrustworthy. Thus, when the time comes, I intend to have Ali cash in my dinar. His current difficulties do not provide a solid enough reason for me to suddenly change my attitude regarding his trustworthiness. Besides, if a man's good reputation won't support him through bad times, what is it worth? Francie26
  6. I get excited every morning when I come in to check the computer, and now, I'm getting excited every evening and checking online then, too. This is happening, and the dance has begun!!!!!!!!! Yippeeeee!!!!!!!
  7. thunderrb, Thank you for your service. Your patriotism and honor fairly reek in your reply to me. I agree with everything you said, and I respect you for saying it. But even as you spent many years of your life defending our country, I spent many years of mine raising sons to both defend and inherit it. I get frightened and defensive when our way of life is threatened. And if I can't feel fear when I hear that the "Age of America" is ending, when is a more appropriate time to feel it? And if I can't express my fear of the actions of this president, which appear to be worsening our situation daily, then what could possibly be more fearful than that? If I feel ashamed of this guy's presidency, so be it. If I want to say so, I'm an American, and proud of it, and I have the right to free speech. Like you, I'm an American. I live in America. I was born in America. I don't think many days of my life have gone by without me thanking God that He allowed me to live in this great land. I respect you for your blatant patriotism, but I want to assure you that I, too, am a patriot. When I stand with my hand over my heart while the flag is passing by, tears of gratitude are in my eyes. I can understand how you misunderstood the intent in my words, so I want to assure you that I also love my country. I am almost 75 years old, and I loved my country when I was a toddler and asked what the blackout curtains were for when we lived in our house in California. I remember standing beside my well-worn desk in second grade in a tiny town in Arkansas, and singing "God Bless America" with my hand over my heart. I loved my country when I "helped" my mother grow a Victory Garden while my dad drove a tank in Europe under General Patton. Never mind that I pulled as many carrots as weeds the first time she "let" me help her. (Meantime, my dad won four bronze stars, was in four major campaigns, one of them being the Battle of the Bulge). I loved my country when I read the stories of Ben Franklin, George Washington, and Abraham Lincoln to my children as bedtime stories. My first husband served in the Marine Corps, and my second husband served in Vietnam in the Army. . . . But as some people here often say, "'Nuff said." I just thought you might like to know . . . Fran
  8. "it wasnt Obama that created this mess. It was the previous presidents. This was on obamas plate when he took over." Good grief!! You drank the koolaide!! That's what he wants you to think!! That's why Obama keeps whining and blaming G. Bush for the results of everything he does that doesn't work. Name one thing he's ever screwed up, out of many, that he has actually taken blame for. What a wimp!! What a coward!! He makes me ashamed of the Presidency of my country. (Not of my country!! Never of my country!! But him? Yes!! Yes!! And Yes, Yes, Yes!!). But . . . you are partially right--he didn't initially make this mess, but he has improved upon it to a vast degree since he got into office. He took it over the mountain: in fact, the trio of Obama-Reid-Pelosi has done irreparable damage to my country. Americans tried to tell him not to sign into law that mess of a healthcare law; 74% of Americans rose up to tell him they didn't want this bill, but he smiled knowingly, smugly, kindly and benignly (and sickeningly) and signed it anyway, while Pelosi claimed the Tea Party was merely Astroturf, not grassroots. With Reid and Pelosi, Obama has turned our economy into the horrible macro-mess it is today, more than triple G. Bush's very worst mismanagement moment. And the story hasn't even been completely told yet--Obama may have also micro-managed and overseen the distruction of America. I would like to impeach that self-centered, inept, oaf!! And I certainly have no patience with people who whine for him. He's proven over and over that he can do his own whining, thank you very much!! I'm aware that this is a rant, so I hope no one is offended, but in my defense, I am very scared about what he has done and continues to do to my children and grandchildren. If he thinks he inherited something from G. Bush that's bad enough for him to whine about it, just think of what our children and grandchildren will inherit from him. As said by a famous American, "My friends, you ain't seen nuthin' yet!"
  9. "Trout Bum, on 25 April 2011 - 01:04 PM, said: If we fall, China falls. They are growing too fast and lending too much too soon. Buy American made products whenever possible, if half of us did that, we could stifle the growth rate." *************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** Count me in!! I'm there!! I'll teach my grandchildren and their friends about their country. I'll take them to tea party events. I'll soon be writing articles about the events that need our "Citizen attention" and get them published in the local newspaper. I'll grow a garden. I've done it before, many times and for many years, and canned fruits and veggies too. Americans during WWII grew Victory Gardens, and we can do it again. I love my country and I'll do whatever it takes. This is AMERICA we're talking about, and it's up to those of us who are blatant patriots to save Her now.
  10. It is good for me to think through the things I want to do after the RV so I'll be ready to spring into action more quickly. I also want to thank all of you who shared your special thoughts regarding this. My list is as follows: 1. Set up a trust for myself and for each of my two daughters and their families. 2. Buy another house--I had to sell mine, one I loved, when my 401K crashed. 3. Buy all new furniture and household furnishings. I had to sell things I loved and had collected over a lifetime when I sold my house. (They were just "things," however, and with the RV, I can buy other nice things. . . . and I love to decorate, so . . . as Shakespeare says, "All's Well That Ends Well"). 4. Set up an education trust fund for Wounded Warriors and their children. 5. Volunteer to make resumes for Wounded Warriors and to teach college level writing skills to Wounded Warriors and their families. 6. Volunteer with organizations that help women (and their children) who have been in abusive relationships. 7. Travel--see more of the world--places I have studied all my adult life and whose history and literature I love and know well.
  11. "Dinar Banker is still accepting reserves as of Sunday night. The method of payment has been revised." Drats!!
  12. A few years ago, when I my husband died, his medical expenses were quite high, and I lost my house, was extremely broke, and had no income source. The IRS went to considerable trouble to extract from me the income tax they claimed I still owed for the prior year, a grand total of $700. So yes, I think they would go to any amount of trouble to get any amount of money, no matter how small, from working Americans. "O" isn't going to allow us to keep any money at all if he can figure out how to take it from us, since his ego thinks he can . . . err . . . cough . . . cough . . . "manage" it (Read: spend it) better than we can, especially when he is giving our money to people who haven't worked for it like we did. (I believe it's called "Redistribution"). I apologize if I sound angry--I suppose I still resent the way I was treated by some very incaring people during that difficult time. I had just retired shortly before my husband became ill, so I was suddenly alone, and both my income source and my savings were gone, seemingly overnight. Thankfully, my daughters are simply wonderful, so I had a place to live and was given a chance to get my life back together. Since then, I found another way to generate a small income, and I managed to buy enough dinar that it will give me a second retirement income, so all is not lost. But as you can imagine, I am not into giving a single dime to the IRS if there is a legitimate way to avoid doing so. I don't think they hire human beings there--only robots with programmed responses and no feelings at all.
  13. I could easily be wrong (often am these days), but I think it is a term to be used if Iraq RVs initially at a low rate, just enough to get back quite a few dinar, and then in a few weeks, they raise the value of the dinar. In that event, the first dispersal would be tier 1 and trhe second dispersal would be tier 2.
  14. And no matter when the RV happens, there will have been a nay-sayer spouting this same old negative stuff that very week.
  15. I don't know how to put this in green, so I've used quotation marks. Hope that works. "QUESTION MY THEORY?!?!? I'll call you names. If you post it, own it with no qualifications." I agree. When a person is too defensive of an idea, others tend to think there is something wrong with it.
  16. BanG-- You are a kind man. I've watched your comments here for a long time, and I know this. So -- back atcha', friend -- Peace!!
  17. Well, as I said before-- I have three degrees in English, and I taught English at the college level for nearly 30 years. Of course, I believe it's important to write correctly. However, I have seen some people here criticize others for their poor grammar, punctuation, and spelling, and in doing so, they were cruel, implying the other person was not intelligent. People without those skills usually know it, and sometimes it takes a huge amount of courage for them to participate. Correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling do matter, but certainly not to the exclusion of ideas, and not all people, sometimes very intelligent ones, can write well. Their minds are simply wired differently than the minds of those of us who can do those things; thus, people without those skills should not be shamed and frozen out of participation here. This is a forum of thoughts and ideas, and all of them, in whatever form they arrive, should be welcomed and respected without correction or criticism of the package in which they are wrapped.

  19. When I first heard of them, they were listed as the Minister of Defense, the Minister of the Interior, and the Minister of Security. In fact, I heard at one time that Shabibi wasn't going to RV the dinar until there was a Minister of Securiy in place.
  20. Hello, Everyone. Nice to see you tonight. I would go to Iraq I could constantly be surrounded by U.S. Marines. haha .
