  1. I wish those of us who are altruistic could fix the world, but apparently that isn't going to happen. All we can do is to dive in at the point where we find ourselves and go from there. I remember how vicious Saddam was, and I felt sad for all the human beings, especially tiny children growing up, who had to live their entire lives under the control of so much selfishness, hatred, and greed of that miserable excuse for a man. Of course, I felt sad for the Iraqi innocents who lost their lives, but I felt even more miserable and sad at the injuries and deaths of our own military men and women. But what is, is. And when the chance came for me to invest in the dinar, I took it. Perhaps I invested too much, but since my situation felt dire (and still does), it was a chance for hope, and I took it. I do not look back. Whether it pays off or not, I have had this time of dreaming of the possibilty of living a much better life, of helping others I love, and then of helping even others who are struggling in this old world. I pray that what I do in this regard will offset in some small measure the many sacrifices made by the courageous military people whose efforts created this opportunity for me. Of course, if I could reverse things and had the power to change all of it, I would have preferred that none of them endure a single injury, let alone lose their lives. I have devoted my entire life to the benefit of others. That's how I chose to live my life, so of course, I would not have allowed the loss of a single life just so I could live comfortably as I age. That is just not who I am. But what has happened, has happened. Both the immediate history and the circumstances of the world are just what they are. I couldn't change them then, and I can't change them now, at least as far as preventing the sacrifices braver souls than me have already made. But what I could do is to invest in the dinar, and when that money comes, I can live a comfortable life myself, help those I love, and then help many others on my list of people and organizations I plan to support. The world is not always sweet and good, but it is what it is, and in killing Saddam and Osama, some of the bravest among us have made it infinitely better. Many of us who will benefit from their sacrifices through our investment in the dinar will push their agenda forward by helping others. But to reach that high, we must stand on the shoulders of giants, the brave American soldiers who gave so very much simply because their country asked them to do so.
  2. I hope some of you find the information on the following websites worthwhile. IMF report: Bad news for US: http://ca.news.yahoo...-130529571.html Iraq submitted a plan to manage the Development funds: http://us.mg4.mail.y...d=enrg7fmtk9hq7
  3. Scooter, I'm very sad to see you go. Those who presumed to cause you grief did all of us a huge disservice. If the time comes that you feel you can come back, I will be very happy to see you again. But if not, I hope you will remember how highly respected you are by those of us who value your work, your integrity, and your honesty. Those are invaluable gifts which you gave freely to those of us who are confused as we wander through this confusing dinar world with more than its share of complainers, whiners, and liars. Since you are one of the few people who provided real clarity regarding the dinar situation, you will be missed. I wish you would stay, but if you must go, then please take with you my highest respect and regard. Francie26
  4. " . . . or is there an actual chance of seeing an RV where we make money?" Keep the faith. When things begin to feel their worst, that's when everything is about to change--in a huge. beautiful way. We're almost there, so now is not the time to give up. That's just a fall back position, anyway, one you can claim any time, but giving up without a fight brings you nothing. It's far more productive to keep your hope and trust in that Ole' Universe while it prepares all those countries so it can send us the RV we want. This is so earth-shakingly big that it needs a lot of collective belief, but when enough of us keep the faith long enough, it'll happen. And then-- Voila!! GO RV!!!!!
  5. I think "Go RV" will do. lol Important Rule: don't waste time trying to fix something that already works.
  6. "High BS Alert" hahaha umbertino, you're soooo funny!! lolol
  7. I don't know about you guys, but I, for one, am praying for this to be true.
  8. Since anywhere I could hear your song is the perfect place to post it and since I heard it here, you posted it in the perfect place. haha Great song!! Great American ideals!! American Hopes!! American Dreams!! American Fighters!!! Wherever you meet to stand up for America, and against those who simply don't understand her (or us), I'll be there!! Thanks for the great reminder of what it means to be an American!!! Your music made my heart sing!! Thank you so much!!!
  9. "As the June 30th comes & goes, start to pay less attention. And over time, forget about the actual investment & just wait for an e-mail." This sounds like a good plan to me. I'll never sell until it RVs. I have other things to do, however--a book to finish writing, a business to build, a life to live. And time is getting away from me while I hang out here, so if this hasn't RV'd by the end of June, I'll just get busy with my other plans, and eventually the call/e-mail will come.
  10. It may be fiction, but I love it. This is a story with a backbone. Would that many decent citizens were that vigilant. I'd vote for this "granny" for mayor, or even for president.
  11. "If God exists then why does He let the Rothschilds exist in the first place and own so much ( various Countries Central Banks, etc. etc, etc)???" Speaking only for myself, I believe the reason Rothschilds and others like them have so much money and we don't is because they have cared about money and we haven't, even though we could have and most likely would have done a great deal to alleviate suffering in the world if we'd had the money to help. However, I have finally come to realize that there is nothing intrinsically wrong with money, so perhaps we need to put much more value on money, even to pray for it from time to time, as long as, when we get it, we use it wisely and help those who are less fortunate.
  12. I'm on the mailing list for newsletters from the another site, and I received the following just now--Please read the last paragraph particularly. Interesting, huh?? Francie26 "In recent Iraq news The Iraq government reforms that was issued by Prime Minister Nuri Maliki on Feb 27 has recently ended their 100 day grace period. The end of the grace period was 7 June and on this day PM Maliki gave a speech directly to the Council of Ministries. The state run media, al-Iraqiyah TV, recently published a poll asking the people to rate how the ministry performed during the 100 day grace period. The al-Iraqiyah TV went on about the best performing Ministries and at the top of the list was the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with 50% approval rating, Ministry of Municipalities 45%, Ministry of Construction and Housing (al-Sadr) 40%, and Finance Ministry at 30%. In yesterday's news, PM Maliki ordered the televising of the sessions of the Council of Ministries that took place at 8pm Baghdad time. The speech was given to the Iraqi people, certain segments of the speech are detailed below. In recent economic news the government of Iraq will discontinue the Ration card and will not be continuing the program due to severe problems with food distribution. Just recently, over 300 tons of food was found to be expired and rendered not fit for human consumption. The Committee on Public Integrity has sent out a memo to all government departments and government officials that they must get approval to travel abroad. This memo was constituted and the rule put in order after several government officials fled Iraq in order to avoid arrest on various charges. Currently, there is a sit-in being conducted in a bank south of Baghdad. The employees are demanding the readjustments of their salary. The bank staff has only been receiving their salary once a month and as of late, has not received anything, hence the protesting. There has been a new leader named at the Trade Bank of Iraq, Hamida al-Jaf, who is rumored to be related to the Prime Minister. Rumors are exploding in and out of Iraq and the first one I would like to address is the rumor about vouchers. The rumor in regards to the voucher is absolutely not true. The vouchers do NOT exist. The next rumor is in regards to the Ernst & Young Audit Report of the Central Bank of Iraq dated 31 Dec 2009. I have read this report in person and have included a link for my readers to read it as well. The report does NOT mention any rate in regards to the Iraqi dinar. Ernst & Young - CBI Report http://www.cbi.iq/documents/fin_sta2009_en.pdf Another piece of information to debunk the so-called experts or 'gurus' are saying: **The IMF is in charge of monetary policy in Iraq. The above sentence is totally FALSE. Refer to page 5 of the Ernst & Young financial statement. It clearly states the Central Bank Law, main functions of the CBI is achieving its objectives include the following: 1. Formulate and implement monetary policy, including exchange rate policy The IMF has NOTHING at all to do with the monetary policy as some would have led you to believe. Warka Bank is continuing with it's struggle to obtain a partnership with a well known British bank. There's a good chance that this partnership will fall through. My government contacts and connections here in Iraq still continue to stand by their earlier comments in regards to there being "no RV/RI in the immediate future". I'm understanding this to mean not within the next 3 months but don't assume that I am saying it will happen at the 4th month mark or even shortly thereafter. I always feel like I have to clarify what I mean as my words are so frequently added to, twisted or exaggerated. I have full faith in these individuals that they are stating the facts as this very powerful group holds in their hand the trigger to pull off whether or not this whole process will transpire as well as when. I also have no doubt that the information will be handed down to me before the process begins and that I will be given a timeline. One bit of information that I can share with you all that I just got this morning is that, The Central Bank of Iraq is preparing to present the plan for the Re-denomination to the Iraqi Parliament. The only issue is that PM Maliki continues to give most of his attention to other matters that seem to be more important to his survival in politics. A typical politician for ya! (Italics mine). ------ another site skype: americancontractor e-mail: ac@another site" ------
  13. It'll be good. I agree that Iraq will be able to support and will, thus, create some millionaires-- I'm just hoping I'm among them. And for what it's worth, I'd prefer it to happen today. Thanks for the book title. I'm always looking for good ones.
  14. "I'm a legal, living, literate Liberal." Boy, I'm not, and proud of it!!
  15. Based on that puddle, to a pond, to a lake, to an ocean idea, we can blame George Washington because Obama is inept.
  16. "What those folks spend in a month of extravagance can change a normal persons life." Actually, it wouldn't take much to change my life enormously. My investment in dinar will do it. I just wish they would hurry. I'm soooooo ready for that better life. (But aren't we all??)
  17. Take whatever financial help you can get. You've paid into that for this purpose for 35 years, and people like you are who all of us pay into it to help. In fact, you could be any of us. Besides, it doesn't pay much, so you can still eat raman noodles until you get another paycheck coming in. You won't need it long--the dinar will kick in soon. Meantime, do whatever you have to do to make it. Don't lose any property or even a night's sleep about this--just take the money!! Francie26
  18. I just can't get past the fact that the United States owns large quantities of Iraqi dinar, and that President Bush and others have claimed that this war wouldn't cost us any money at all. Others have claimed that the US is the largest dinar owner in the world, outside of Iraq, itself. Then Geitner said that he was expecting a huge new infusion of money soon. Plus Obama surely wants the money very badly so he can claim credit for getting it. Also, the claims (by the IMF?) that the world is close to a reset of most major world currencies surely plays into this. Even the accusations made toward the IMF leader in New York sound suspect, given that he is not a US sympathizer. So many countries of the world need this "reset" badly. Those include Greece, Ireland, Spain, Italy, England, France, the United States, et al. I can't cite origins for these ideas right now, although if I had the time, I could find them, but most of us have read all of them from fairly-to-highly credible sources--Okie, not withstanding. So I still believe very much that the dinar will RV someday, if not this week, very soon, make me a rich woman, but meantime, I have decided, for sanity's sake, to check this site every morning, and then go on about my daily life. It's not the life I could have, nor is it the life I really want, but it is the life I have, and I need to get on with living it. The future will get here, or it won't, and it will include the RV or it won't, but whatever the future holds, I am not going to wait until this dinar RV's to live my life. On the other hand, I'm certainly not giving up hope for the RV, something that seems reasonable and logical and that I want very much. So there we are. As so many others of you have said, "Just sayin'." Meantime, a huge THANK YOU!!! to all American servicemen and woman everywhere!! You have given so much, and America thanks you!!! Francie26
  19. "The US is greedy and will not allow Sadr and Iran to get the oil of Iraq that the US so desperately wants and needs." I'm offended about this remark. The United States of America is in financial trouble today because we are so giving. Why in the world would we sacrifice not only our wealth, but especially our human treasure, to free the Iraqis and help them to build a democracy in a nation formerly held by a horrible dictator only to give their wealth to Iran and their puppet in Iraq, Sadr???!!! Whatever else this is, it isn't greed!! And I'm tired of people all over the globe who have never done anything special in their lives blaming America. If we do it, they call us greedy. If we don't do it (whatever "it" is), they scream, "Where is America? Why aren''t they here helping us?" Well, if you will note, we are still there helping Iraq and protecting them from idiots like Sadr. It doesn't take much to blow up your own young, to bomb your own cities, and to set fire to your own children, but it takes a lot of goodness and decency to free a whole nation and to then give them the tools to survive as a democracy, whether or not they have oil as a foundation for the future. Today we celebrate and honor those brave American men and women who gave so much for this noble cause, and for freedom in many other times and nations throughout the world. Neither these heroes nor the nation they serve is greedy. You owe every one of these brave souls a sincere apology for your dumb remark, Sir.
  20. I renewed my subscription shortly before my first three months was up, but the info on the first page says it has expired. How do I contact Adam's office to let them know that the personal info section on the first page isn't showing that I renewed? I appreciate any help that is offered. I would just feel more comfortable if that info section showed that Adam's office had received and acknowledged my renewal. Thanks very much. Francie26
  21. Great idea!! Count me in!! I live close enough to do this, too, in mid-Missouri, so I'll probably see you there.
  22. I could be wrong, but I think "Can you imagine what I would do if I could do all I can?" should be "Can you imagine what I could do if I would do all I can?" Thanks for these--they are all wonderful. Francie26
  23. The Wild West in the United States only lasted a mere 30 years. The Wild East in Iraq has been going on for thousands of years. What does that tell us? Hmmmm . . .
