Yeah KK this was a small quake. No big deal for us here in CA
I rode out Sylmar, Northridge and Whittier quakes with no damage.
Funny how we see these as no big deal.
I'll take a good shaking every ten years rather than tornadoes and Hurricanes every year

If you rode out Sylmar and Northridge you must not live near either one of them. In Northridge area, even Santa Monica took a big hit and that is over the hill. I wish I could say my friends and neighbors and relatives did not take a big hit in those two.

First of all, the income tax does not even apply to most people. Second, none of the taxes go towards paying anything other than the interest to service the debt which all goes to the private owners of the federal reserve.
The tax problem can only go up because there is no money to repay the debt. The only currency there is is federal reserve notes and federal reserve notes is just debt, not money. So how can you pay off a debt with a debt?
The system is based solely of a credit and debt system. Money is not even a part of it. They are operating under bankruptcy and have been since 1933. All the credit comes from YOU the people. The people are the credit, the government is the debtor, and banks are nothing but a currency exchange.
When YOU sign a promissory note and the bank EXCHANGES that for a check or federal reseerve notes, that was just an even exchange. The promossory note is the same as cash (federal reserve notes) because they are both a promise to pay. Everyone thinks the banks create money out of thin air, but they create nothing. It is actually you that creates it. Everything comes from the collective labor of the people. The government borrows ALL the labor from the people which they convert your labor into CREDIT! Without the labor of the people there could be no credit.
So all you have to do to fix the tax problem is YOU as the donor of ALL the credit for the United States, FORGIVE its debt! The only way the debt can ever be paid is for the creditor to forigive it. There is no money and forgiveness is the ONLY way you could ever pay it. Since YOU are the creditor then YOU are the only one that can forgive the debt created from your credit! If everyone forgave all the debt from all the credit the government borrowed the entire debt would be canceled and they would have no interest to pay which would eliminate their having to tax anything to collect interest for the debt.
Amen, but it takes some study to understand what you are saying. You are right on, too bad but what you say falls on deaf ears. And to most readers it is way above their heads.

We don't have a tax problem, the government has a spending problem. They spend too much. When our income drops, we cut back. When the fed's income drops, they just keep on spending. After all, it's not their money they're spending, it's ours..
I suggest you read the Grace Commission Report and see where your taxes go.

40 oz, I would love to see Ron Paul elected. The problem is there are really no elections. The bankers will put in who they want. It is really that simple. I am afraid we are strapped with another four years of their man "O" because he is doing all the things they ask of him.

I think the tax problem and every other problem we have that all of you have mentioned is due to a government that works only for the wealthy and the elite, not for us. "They" get the tax breaks while we have to argue amongst ourselves what should be cut from the budget that is going to be the least impactfull to the many who are out of work and for those even less fortunate.
"Their" corporations pay little or no tax, while our kids school tuitions go through the roof, and our city streets are filled with so many potholes we now seem like a third world nation, and our teachers, firemen, and police officers get pink slips
While the whole time the politicians try and push the guilt off on us, that we are somehow to blame for the debauchery that's been going on now for decades, the fat cats get richer and we get poorer every day!
Don't blame yourselves people! Put the blame where it belongs! We need to get organized crime out of our government completely! It's not "our debt" it's the banksters debt!

Hi Carlos, you are right there is really not a national debt, there is only a federal debt. But do not forget to read "The Grace Report". It is so important for all Americans to read it and understand where their tax money really goes. As a "taxpayers" when you get a chance ask an IRS agent "how did I become a "taxpaper"? Is it because I have brown hair and blue eyes. Of course the IRS agent will have NO answer for you because he does not know the answer. Don't forget you "taxpayers"-- it is a voluntary system. Funny but you can't easily opt out.

no wonder they scare you. They (the so called congress) have never been officially re-seated since they walked out in 1860, but that is another story. Be sure to know the difference between the United States and the united States of America. I am sure most Americans are unaware of the difference.

I have a mortgage that no one coerced me to get--I have a mortgage because I chose to borrow the money to purchase my home that I wanted to purchase--with my own free will--in a location I chose to live in. I purchased a house on a piece of land that I could afford to pay for. Now, where is the fraud??? The problem arrives when people are allowed to purchase more than they can afford and expect others to bail tham out or "forgive" the dept they should never have been granted. Spreading the wealth is a great idea when you are talking about spreading someone else's assets. I work for mine and earn every penny of it and I want to give it where I see fit--that is called charity and tithes and offerings. The only person to blame if I get in over my head is me, and maybe someone stupid enough to loan it to me in the first place. And if I don't pay as I should they would have the right to collect what I said they could if I didn't. So.....hope I made sense.
The fraud comes, not on your part, it comes on the part of the so called loaner. They never lent you a dime, but it is a long story and way to much to try to explain here, it takes many hours to understand the ins and outs of the banking fraud you signed into. Yes, I agree you did all the right things as most all of did that preceded you. The fraud of the mortgage system needs to be stopped, but that will take getting back to lawful money and leaving this legal tender we are using in the dust. Just think most young people have never seen or used a dollar in their lifetime.

Scrum, I have asked this question before, How do they (the Congress) impeach the president of a CORPORATION?? That is what he is. If you notice they tried to impeach a couple of prior presidents and they remained in office or walked out on his own.

Great thread. I myself have looked into other source of healing. Dogmatic at one time mentioned about our pH balance and to keep it high, when your pH is high your body is carrying healthy cells and as for a cancer patient going on 4 yrs as a survivor, we need healthy cells, still researching it but do find it very interesting.
It boils down to our diet and how much of it, is doing good for the body. We have to be aware of what we are consuming. I also juice a lot of organic vegetables. I have seen an increase in my endurance, my mentality and physical well being. Every time I go to my oncologist, reports have been positive and truly feel its because I've changed my lifestyle of what I'm consuming.
