  1. I have spent the better part of this year sending a monthly email in to Mr. Issa asking for a new password with no response at all.  At one point I started sending the email every other day to see different times made a difference. Taxman posted this on his site and I'm wondering if it really is pointless to keep sending email after email to him if he isn't responding to anyone...

This message is not dated so I  am not even sure how old this is...

"Warka Bank is functioning in multiple cities at the moment.

The central bank in Baghdad handles the foreign customer accounts.

The bank is currently insured for $250 million dollars.

Because of the current situation and awaiting funds from the CBI,

any updates on the website or further communication with outside investors is paused until early next year.

Access to foreign accounts can only be done in person.

    KEY TAKEAWAY

Your funds are OK and insured.

Communications and update on the website are on hold until next year.

Do not continue to attempt communication with Mohammad Issa for now."

There are only 25 members in his coalition.......out of 300+ total......not sure he really has that much influence any longer.

It is always annoying to see his name in print!       CL

What ever Maliki wants, Iran has made happen. This time could well be different as Iran is doubled over in agony with all of its own problems these days. Soleimani’s absence doesn’t hurt a thing either!!!

Am I the only one concerned about this?  I'm not so sure Salih is one of the good guys and now he looks like he'll be in full - and sole - control once he dissolves the House of Representatives.  I did a quick search and just this past January, he was praising Soleimani as a martyr and acknowldeged how much he'd helped Iraq.  That doesn't bode well for the man.  While I haven't made up my mind about him (maybe that was just a PR statement on Soleimani's death), I think it's always very dangerous to put one person in sole control.  Power really does tend to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely.  I really hope this works out well for the Iraqi people, they so deserve a good break .  And at least I think it probably won't hurt the RV because I really believe Iraq has no other viable choice but to RV to get out of the tight bind it's in.

A picture is worth a thousand words, and that picture of Salah and Maliki holding hands leaving a meeting was not reassuring, fickle pickle politics in Iraq as usual!!!

Horsesoldier... while it’s easy to understand how you feel, I wouldn’t be so quick to judge the future government. I’ve been in this for 16 years and truly feel Iraq is reaching a turning point.

Sure, we all get frustrated... imagine how Iraq citizens feel. Now is the time to send more positive energy to keep the momentum flowing.

I still would not invest in Iraq again. Too many things can go south in a heart beat. The whole Middle East will forever be a bunch of bull riders, certain they can all hold on to the rope. Saudi Arabia, as well as Russia just proved how quickly you can, and will get thrown to the ground. Why were they even riding a bull named Brahma Bank Breaker in the first place???

  6. They aren’t nuts, but definitely ignorant. Pretty sure they couldn't tell the difference between a hole in the ground and their arseholes.
How many of the thieves  will step up to even try to save Iraq? They can’t run to Iran to save Iraq. Iran has gotta be pretty well beat down by now, between US sanctions, Corona virus, and now the oil money all dried up and no longer in the bank.....

they just fell into the well of despair......

  7. This whole process would be the same as the US basically allowing our Congress to decide who will be the next President, and I wouldnt even trust their decision these days. Seems Qatar is currently the owner of some of those baboons......

Until the mullahs are beaten, the circus in Iraq will continue... and as long as Iran needs Iraq, there will be no RV. Iran will make sure of that, as they have been doing for years.

  8. I'm thinking it would just be hilarious if the Iraqi **** members of parliament basically spit in Iran's face and voted this poor guy as the next PM. If top mullahs rushed over to Baghdad to speak their disdain of Al Zorfi (and spread the corona virus to the Iraqi officials)... might just make Iraq's parliament mad enough to get the mullahs kicked out on their keeisters, and for good!     😃

He added that "the security forces arrested the owner of the garage and its employees and all employees of the checkpoint, near it, which is affiliated with the Baghdad police, and referred them all for investigation"

  10. Maliki should have been "Saddam Hussained" from an even longer rope after 2014.

I will never forget how puny he looked in the pictures of him visiting as PM in Tehran with his little tiny hands placed perfectly on his knees , and looking down at the floor like a scared little rabbit....

He was never a leader, just a pathetic scared little man

Iraqi Forces Coalition says it seeks to abolish Allawi’s cabinet

ifc The Iraqi Forces Coalition on Thursday said it seeks to abolish the government of Prime Minister-designateMohammed Allawi in a parliamentary session, not to postpone the parliament session devoted to granting confidence.

Iraq's parliament on Thursday adjourned a session to approve a new cabinet proposed by Prime Minister-designated Mohammed Allawi, state television reported.

It said the parliament had failed to convene a quorum as many lawmakers unhappy with Allawi's ministerial nominees boycotted the session.

Look at the second jack arse from the left. So this group is a Sunni group? They are opposed to Alwani.. even after Alwani created all of the back up choices if they didn’t like the first one???
